NM remains on lockdown while other Dem-run states fully reopen

Embattled Gov. Michelle Lujan Grisham and her advisors are still not ready to reopen New Mexico despite other Democrat-run states, such as California and New York are fully reopening.

The governor was absent from Wednesday’s COVID-19 briefing with New Mexico Human Services Secretary Dr. David Scrase and Health Secretary Dr. Tracie Collins. 

During the pandemic briefing, the two cabinet secretaries ran around in circles trying to justify why New Mexico was still locked down while all neightboring states had reopened. 

Scrase said in response to a question about the fully open state of Texas having the lowest seven-day positivity rating sinice the beginning of the pandemic, “I mentioned earlier, we have the highest social vulnerability index in America, poverty amongst older people, New Mexico is number one in America amongst all ages, we have a lot of social vulnerability.” 

“Since the very beginning we have used New Mexico data for cases, the modeling from Presbyterian that’s been essential. When making our decisions based on what we believe is really safest and best. There’s always going to be a state that’s more open and I can’t really speak to the accuracy of the data of Texas or I don’t believe that necessarily being reopen caused case rates to be low. We’re doing what’s best for New Mexicans, we’ve done that from day one, we’ll continue to do that, we think we’re doing the right thing.”

Matt Bieber, NMDOH Director of Communications characterized the state of the pandemic in a much more frantic way, claiming the unvaccinated people are contributing to deaths and “pain and suffering.” Bieber said, “The pandemic doesn’t end just because we’ve hit 60 percent. It’s a moment in where we feel it’s safe to open much of the economy and do away with many of the restrictions in place. But you know this is a deadly virus, it’s still out there, there’s still a lot of unvaccinated people unfortunately and it still has opportunities to spread and mutate, and cause pain and suffering and unfortunately death as well.”

Dr. Collins said, “We are diligently working to achieve that [60 percent vaccinated] goal and we can have more updates for you by the end of the week but we’re definitely working towards that.”

The Governor has been bribing New Mexicans with $100 each, including children, to take the virus inoculation, along with $10 million in lottery prizes for those who have taken the jab. None of the three jabs available, Moderna, Pfizer, or Johnson & Johnson, have been approved by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration.

WATCH: New ad savages MLG for ducking the press amid scandal-ridden tenure

On Wednesday, the Republican Governors Association released a blistering ad going after embattled Gov. Michelle Lujan Grisham for her public corruption, ducking the press, and many other scandals she has had during her short but disastrous governorship. 

The ad highlights Lujan Grisham’s blatant hypocrisy, such as when she ordered New Mexicans to “stay home,” but she had a shuttered business reopen specifically for her to buy jewelry.

The ad features news clips, with a reporter saying, “Non-essential businesses were closed, but one opened just for the governor to buy jewelry.” Another news clip noted how “the governor refused on-camera interviews” amid the scandal.

Another scandal highlighted in the ad was Lujan Grisham paying hush money to a sexual assault accuser, James Hallinan, who says the governor poured water on his crotch and then groped him. 

A news clip said, “He and other staffers had been sexually assaulted by Governor Michelle Lujan Grisham.” Another said, “What does the Governor have to say on all of this? So far, we haven’t heard directly from her.” 

The next scandal the group highlighted in the ad was her issuing over $500,050 in raises to her staffers while New Mexicans were unemployed. The featured news clip says, “While workers across New Mexico face major pay cuts, we’re learning Governor Michelle Lujan Grisham handed out hefty pay raises to her staff.” 

The ad featured other scandals the Governor was involved in while she ducked questions from the media.

Lujan Grisham bribing people, including children, with $100/each to take the jab

On Monday, embattled Gov. Michelle Lujan Grisham’s New Mexico Department of Health announced it will be bribing people with an “incentive” of $100 upon injection of the “vaccine series” or the single-shot Johnson & Johnson jab through June 17.

The added bribe comes after the Governor has been waving $10 million cash prizes through a “lottery” (of taxpayer funds) to those who get inoculated, and that appears to not be working since she is adding the extra incentive to sweeten the deal.

“All New Mexicans who have received at least one shot are also eligible for the Vax 2 the Max sweepstakes, including a total of $10 million in cash prizes and other awards. On June 18, New Mexico will conduct its first drawings – four prizes of $250,000 each. New Mexicans who wish to participate can sign up,” wrote Lujan Grisham’s Department of Health.

“Eligibility is limited to New Mexicans receiving a booster shot or the J&J shot from Monday, June 14 to Thursday, June 17” 

“To qualify for the $100, New Mexicans must bring the following to their appointments:  New Mexicans must provide proof of residency (e.g. an identification card, pay stub or utility bill). Those who are receiving a second Pfizer or Moderna shot must provide a CDC vaccine card or other proof of vaccination that they have received a primary shot. New Mexicans can locate their vaccination records at vaxviewnm.org.” 

According to the release by the Department, “New Mexicans will receive $100 either on-site or at their home addresses. For New Mexicans eligible to be vaccinated who are under 18 years old, a parent or guardian must be present to qualify for the $100.” 
The caveat that allows parents to get $100 for their children to get the vaccine may end up in added coercive tactics from parents strapped for cash. Children are the lowest population to die from the Chinese Virus, with a 99.997% survival rate and less than 1% of children with the virus require the jab. Third Republican, financier Greg Zanetti, jumps into NM governor’s race

On Monday, Republican Greg Zanetti of Albuquerque announced his candidacy for governor of New Mexico, being the third to throw his hat in the ring after Sandoval County Commissioner Jay Block and businesswoman Karen Bedonie.

According to an interview with Bob Clark of KKOB, Greg Zanetti, an Army National Guard veteran, announced his candidacy for the governorship of New Mexico. Zanetti previously announced his intention to run for the 2010 governor’s race but ended up leaving the race to take a job with Bill Gates in Washington state.

According to his business, Zanetti Financial, “Greg was offered a job managing assets for Bill Gates. Thus, Greg and his family moved to Washington State in 2009. Greg managed money for both Bill Gates and Randy Talbot (the former CEO of Symetra) until 2016.”

On Zanetti’s campaign website, he claims to be a “pragmatic conservative” and veteran who graduated from West Point and Boston College, and his wife, Teresa, graduated from Harvard University. 

Zanetti has focused his campaign against current embattled Gov. Michelle Lujan Grisham’s harsh COVID-19 lockdowns, cutting the tax burden for New Mexicans, and creating what he calls a “kids first mentality.” 

On crime, Zanetti’s position is vague, however, he says “We must also get the crisis on our southern border under control. New Mexico was built by immigrants, and we all love our rich culture.  But it is too easy for those wanting to hurt New Mexicans to illegally cross our borders.   The result is people don’t feel safe in our cities.  And the damage done to our farmers and ranchers in rural New Mexico has been ignored for far too long.”

Alleged crotch grabber MLG defends paying off accuser, cites ‘pandemic’ as cover

During a Friday press conference, embattled Gov. Michelle Lujan Grisham, who has been ducking the media for weeks, faced tough questions regarding her $62,500 payoff from her campaign fund to an ex-staffer, James Hallinan, who accused Lujan Grisham of pouring water over his crotch and then grabbing it at Democrat state Rep. Deborah Armstrong’s house. 

When posted with questions regarding the inappropriate behavior, which she appears to have admitted to by the hush money payments, she said, “I was focused on the pandemic, and I’ll stand by that decision [to settle] every minute of every day.”

When asked if Hallinan’s claims had ever been independently investigated, Grisham said she had “not seen anywhere in the country where there’s an independent investigation over an employment claim.”

The New York Attorney General and the State Assembly are currently investigating sexual assault allegations against New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo. 

Lujan Grisham opined on the accusations against Cuomo, saying, “I’m, frankly, in that group of elected leaders, that you believe the individual, you give real credit and credibility there, if you don’t, we are revictimizing brave men and women who come forward.” 

The Governor’s former senior advisor Dominic Gabello, who was accused of pressuring Hallinan to stay quiet, resigned from his $143,769 position in the administration in the heat of the revelations that the disgraced Governor paid off her accuser. 

But the Hallinan incident is by no means the first time Lujan Grisham has been accused of similar behavior. According to a video made by a man named Eddie Dehart, Lujan Grisham allegedly grabbed his genitals during a birthday party in 2005. 

According to Dehart, attendees of the party were playing pool when Lujan Grisham was alleged to have groped him in front of his then-girlfriend, saying, “you have a man here” after touching his genitals through his clothes.

Lujan Grisham kicked off her campaign announcement last week, and it has already hit a rocky start. Anti-MLG protesters drowned out her speech, and in anger, the Governor called the New Mexicans fed up with her governorship “QAnon lizard people.” 

Since the insult, New Mexicans have co-opted the jab and now own the title “lizard people,” to Lujan Grisham’s chagrin. Now, the Governor is playing defense, trying to claim victimhood by saying she took the “high road.”  

The Governor is also battling an ethics complaint against her regarding the use of over $6,000 in campaign dollars to pay her daughter, a cosmetologist, for hair and makeup, a direct violation of state statute. The Secretary of State’s office has until Sunday, June 13 to respond to the complaint.

MLG claims she took the ‘high road’ after calling protesters ‘lizard people’

On Friday, Gov. Michelle Lujan Grisham sent out an email to supporters trying to play the victim and erroneously claiming the protesters she called “lizard people” during her announcement speech tried to “threaten” her. Videos from the event prove otherwise, with people like Democrat former Lt. Gov. Diane Denish, an avid Lujan Grisham supporter, getting aggressive with protesters.

“I’ve been able to start off my reelection campaign strong – even in the face of harsh pushback. During my reelection speech last week, I was interrupted by a group of disruptive and abusive protesters who threatened me, our supporters, and journalists covering the event. But I was undeterred because I know thousands of strong, caring grassroots supporters like you have my back,” she claimed.

She went even further, telling her supporters in the email, “I’ll never be silenced by opponents aiming to disrupt democracy, and I’ll never stop fighting for New Mexico families. I know that our campaign represents real New Mexico values of fairness, equality for all and hard work. Together – we’re taking the high road, and we’re going to win fair and square.” 

It is unclear what Lujan Grisham means by taking the “high road” since she branded anti-MLG protesters as “Qanon lizard people” at the event. 

Lujan Grisham also claimed she would never be “silenced,” but she canceled an event in Española in fear of lizard people protesters. That cancellation came after she told supporters she would not be “intimidated.” That proved to be a lie as well.

NM high court rules against harmed businesses, claims Gov. MLG’s lockdown was ‘reasonable’

On Monday, it was reported that the 100% Democrat-controlled New Mexico Supreme Court, which has many Gov. Lujan Grisham-appointed judges, including Shannon Bacon and David Thomson, ruled that businesses harmed by Gov. Lujan Grisham’s pandemic lockdowns “are not entitled to compensation from the state to recoup their losses,” according to Dan Boyd of the Albuquerque Journal. 

“Occupancy limits and closure of certain categories of businesses, while certainly harsh in their economic effects, are directly tied to the reasonable purpose of limiting the public’s exposure to the potentially life-threatening and communicable disease, and thus can be deemed ‘reasonably necessary,’” the Court wrote in an opinion by Justice C. Shannon Bacon.

After the announcement, New Mexicans angered by hte decision took to Twitter to voice their frustrations.

One commenter wrote, “The Supreme court of NM again shows it is a rubber stamp for @GovMLG.  That should be your headline. Or maybe NM Supreme Court supports the governor’s ongoing efforts to kill small businesses in NM.”

Elisa Martinez, a past U.S. Senate candidate and pro-life activist with New Mexico Alliance for Life wrote, “NM Sup. Court perpetuates [Gov. MLG’s] UNCHECKED UNILATERAL authority: 1) create a 14 month “emergency” 2) shutter 40% of small businesses, transferring wealth to large corporations 3) spend $10 MILLION taxpayer dollars in a vaccine sweepstakes 4) endless scandal 5) ETC.”

Pro-energy group slams Gov. MLG’s ‘hypocrisy’ with ‘green agenda’

This week, embattled Gov. Michelle Lujan Grisham announced her intention to run for governor in 2022 to the chagrin of New Mexicans who have seen her repeatedly embarrass them on the nation stage time and time again with her scandal-ridden administration.

But during her announcement speech, which was drowned out by anti-MLG protesters, she once again touted her extreme “green agenda,” notably legislative Democrats’ Energy Transition Act, New Mexico’s very own “Green New Deal.” 

She said New Mexico is moving toward a “carbon-free energy system,” which the pro-energy group Power The Future calls “hypocrisy.” 

“There’s only one problem, her own green agenda was failing at that very moment. During her remarks, the utility that provides power to the site of her event reported only 6% of its power was coming from renewable resources,” wrote the group.

“The Governor often celebrates her mini–Green New Deal, but she ignores the fact her own law called for 20 percent renewable power by 2020 and not a single New Mexico utility met that standard. In fact, her own reelection announcement didn’t meet the standard.” 

The group concluded, “It appears the only renewable resource that can truly power the eco-left is hypocrisy.” 

Throughout her administration, Lujan Grisham has repeatedly rammed down New Mexicans’ throats her anti-energy agenda, which has led to the loss of countless jobs, especially in the Navajo Nation with the closure of PNM’s plants in the area.

After claiming she will not be ‘intimidated,’ Gov. MLG cancels event in fear of ‘lizard people’

To say embattled Gov. Michelle Lujan Grisham’s campaign reelection bid has had a rocky start is an understatement. After a tumultuous, scandal-ridden tenure as chief executive, Lujan Grisham is facing swaths of protesters at her campaign events.

During her reelection announcement event, Lujan Grisham and other speakers were drowned out by anti-MLG protesters fed up with the governor’s handling of the pandemic and her abuses of power while serving in her role. The protesters were regular, everyday New Mexicans, including retired teachers and nurses, who were using their free time to make their voices heard. 

Frustrated by the protesters, Lujan Grisham bashed them as “QAnon lizard people,” a sentiment comparable to former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton’s “basket of deplorables,” Joe Biden’s “chumps,” or Peter Strzok’s “ignorant hillbillies” comments. 

While running for election in 2018, Lujan Grisham made similar comments toward rural New Mexicans, bashing people who live in Deming. She said, “I met a woman in Deming. Her name is Gladys. So she’s not—she wasn’t born in New Mexico. But she chose New Mexico, and she chose Deming! I know… I didn’t mean that to be…” 

Now, after all of this, New Mexicans are fighting back against Lujan Grisham, not just at her re-election speech, but everywhere, including all her stops on the campaign trail. Protesters showed up at the Governor’s Friday event in Taos to protest.

At her very short reelection speech, the Governor said, “We’re going to do what we do best. We’re going to protect New Mexico, and no amount of noise will deter, intimidate or create a vacuum in leadership that makes a difference for every single New Mexican this day and every day. Can’t be done. Can’t be done.”

There was also another event scheduled at the Santa Claran in Española — an area of the state she bashed — but it was canceled due to “security concerns,” which means that despite Lujan Grisham’s comment that she will not be “intimidated,” she was. 

Lujan Grisham’s spokeswoman Kendall Witmer said, “These protesters berated supporters with violent and racist language and stalked and intimidated press and event staff.” All of these statements are untrue, per photographs and videos taken at the reelection announcement venue. 

Lujan Grisham faces a tough reelection campaign as strong Republican challengers have already emerged, including Sandoval County Commissioner Jay Block and businesswoman Karen Bedonie.

On Thursday, embattled first-term Gov. Michelle Lujan Grisham held her reelection announcement in Albuquerque at the Albuquerque Museum, where she was met with scores of protesters fed up with her extreme agenda, including locking down the state and pushing inoculations upon New Mexicans.

The protest, which was co-hosted by multiple New Mexico activists, included signs reading things like “No Crotch Grabbing Gov,” “MLG is deeply mediocre and dumb,” and “Alexa, new governor please,” among others. 

The protesters drowned out multiple speakers’ speeches, including Democrat Rep. Teresa Leger de Fernandez (CD-3), Democrat Party of New Mexico chair Jessica Velasquez, and Rep-elect Melanie Stansbury (CD-1). 

Once Lujan Grisham took the stage, the protesters with their bull horns got louder and louder, drowning out the scandal-ridden governor’s speech. 

In frustration, Lujan Grisham made a cringe-inducing comment, claiming the protesters were “lizard people.”

She said, “I just have to say I’m sorry that we picked the same location that the QAnon lizard people meeting was at.” 

“We’re going to do what we do best. We’re going to protect New Mexico, and no amount of noise will deter, intimidate or create a vacuum in leadership that makes a difference for every single New Mexican this day and every day,” Lujan Grisham said despite her reign as governor, which has decimated countless New Mexicans 

Lujan Grisham was forced to cut her speech extremely short since the protesters successfully drowned her out. 

Her controversy-driven tenure as governor has been marked with scandal after scandal after scandal. From forcing through the most far-left extreme bills through the Legislature to paying off sexual accusers and her own daughter with campaign cash, and then “misplacing” $250 million in Workforce Solutions money, she has weakened her chance of reelection day after day. 

She repeatedly skirted her pandemic rules to buy luxury jewelry, used taxpayer funds for fine wine and $200/lb Wagyu beef steaks, berated local communities for not following her edicts, forced New Mexicans to stand in cold bread lines to get food and basic goods, fined churches and businesses tens of thousands of dollars for alleged non-compliance, removed the National Guard from the border and denied an immigration crisis, fired and hired cabinet secretaries on a dime, gave her staff hefty raises while New Mexicans lost everything, and she is giving away $10 million of New Mexicans’ dollars through a “lottery” to bribe people to take the experimental virus inoculation.

At Lujan Grisham’s next campaign stop at the John Dunn Shop in Taos on Friday at 8:00 a.m., protesters will be there to “greet” the embattled governor as she tries to run for a second term in the Governor’s Mansion. Protesters will also be in Española at the Santa Claran Hotel Casino on 460 N Riverside Dr, at 11:30 to protest the Governor.
