New Mexico Democrats have a BIG groping problem

Groping has become essentially synonymous with the Democrat Party in New Mexico. The Democrats’ standard bearer, Gov. Michelle Lujan Grisham, paid out $150,000 in donors’ cash to a former staffer, James Hallinan, who accused the embattled governor of groping his penis after pouring a bottle of water over his crotch area. Gruesome stuff.

Previously, a man came forward in 2018 before the gubernatorial election accusing Lujan Grisham of groping him at a party, which led to the end of his relationship.

The man, Eddie Dehart, said of the 2005 groping incident, “In 2005, we have a party at my girlfriend’s house. It was an artisan party to showcase some art in Santa Fe and help the artists out to sell their products…During the game, it was Michelle’s shot. And she walked around the pool table and walked by me. When she walked by me she grabbed my crotch.” He said that Lujan Grisham exclaimed to his girlfriend that “you have a man here.”

“Michelle was asked to leave the party,” he said. “I didn’t do nothing [sic] to provoke it.” Dehart said that Lujan Grisham’s conduct led to a rift with his girlfriend. “Michelle’s drunkenness and her touchy hands ended up breaking us up in the long run.”

The governor’s rhetoric toward government officials and their actions go contrary to her very position, saying in July 2021 regarding indicted Democrat Sheryl Williams Stapleton, “But I will say that public confidence in government is seriously damaged by even the appearance of impropriety, or illegal activity, which is why public officials must always hold themselves to the highest possible standard of behavior.”

In 2017, former lieutenant governor candidate, state Sen. Michael Padilla, was accused of a decade-old sexual harassment charge. At the time, Lujan Grisham demanded Padilla drop out of the race for office. Padilla was just promoted to Democrat Senate Majority Whip.

She told the Associated Press, “My position on sexual harassment is clear: it is totally unacceptable and will not be tolerated by me or in my administration. Michael Padilla’s actions were wrong.” She continued, “There is no room for excuses and he should withdraw his candidacy for lieutenant governor.”

Lujan Grisham didn’t live up to her own standard, flatly claiming, “There is no room for excuses.” Her excuse for the $150,000 was that she was busy during the pandemic and didn’t have time to fight the claims.

She said at the time, “I was focused on the pandemic, and I’ll stand by that decision [to settle] every minute of every day.”

But despite the damning payoff and excuses made by the governor, Democrats are now demanding their own Democrat state Sen. Daniel Ivey-Soto be expelled from the Senate after allegations he groped a lobbyist. The legislative panel found no probable cause for the claim.

Still the Democrats and leftist organizations demand his removal.

“They want me to be expelled from the Senate on the basis of one complaint on which no probable cause was found,” Ivey-Soto said Monday. “That’s an interesting form of justice they have.”

The Democrats, led by their Senate Pro-Tem Mimi Stewart (D-Bernalillo), allegedly sent so far as to threaten to release documents about debunked claims of sexual assault if Ivey-Soto did not resign. Ivey-Soto filed a complaint with the FBI over the apparent extortion threat by Stewart.

How interesting that Democrats are hell-bent on attackign Ivey-Soto, who recently resigned from his position as Chairman of the Senate Rules Committee, but Lujan Grisham gets a break for not only allegedly groping two men, but for paying out hundreds of thousands of dollars to settle accusations she groped her ex-staffer’s crotch.

So far, Lujan Grisham’s GOP challenger, Mark Ronchetti, has not made a big deal about the embattled Democrat’s groping. It was, however, a topic of conversation in the primary.

Whether it becomes an election issue, Democrats clearly have a groping problem within their ranks. While actual settlements for sexual assault claims made by Lujan Grisham are brushed under the rug, debunked claims of groping against Sen. Ivey-Soto are met with fury and even alleged illegal threats. Time will tell if, in November, New Mexicans see the sexually predatory aspects of the Democrat Party. Maybe don’t make the same mistake by giving the leftists more power.

Sabato’s Crystal Ball: Of ‘Lean D’ gov’s races, GOP ‘most excited’ about NM

On Wednesday, Sabato’s Crystal Ball, a project of the University of Virginia Center for Politics, made two race rating changes, both changing gubernatorial races in Michigan and Pennsylvania from “Leans Democratic” to “Likely Democratic.”

However, it kept New Mexico’s “Leans Democratic” rating. But as the Crystal Ball noted, of all the Leans D races, New Mexico Republicans’ race to take out Democrat Gov. Michelle Lujan Grisham appears to be the most exciting.

It wrote regarding the three remaining Leans D races, “Of this trio, Republicans have seemed most excited about New Mexico, although Gov. Michelle Lujan Grisham (D-NM) has consistently led 2020 Senate nominee Mark Ronchetti (R) in polling. Govs. Tim Walz (D-MN) and Janet Mills (D-ME) have led their rivals, too.”

All but one recent poll have consistently rated the race within single digits of Lujan Grisham, with the most recent The Hill/Emerson poll showing Ronchetti with 43 percent to the Governor’s 48 percent with a margin of error of three percentage points — a near statistical tie. Five percent of voters remain undecided. Three percent are voting for another candidate (Libertarian Karen Bedonie, who was formerly a Republican before switching parties).

Far-left organizations and labor unions have thrown their support behind Lujan Grisham, while the New Mexico Fraternal Order of Police, Albuquerque Police Officers Association, Fraternal Order of Police, and public safety groups have backed Ronchetti.

In New Mexico, crime is a major issue, as is the border, with one of the largest drug busts happening in Albuquerque this month. The city recently hit its 100th homicide, on track to exceed 2021’s most deadly year of 117 killings. The federal government has reported over two million illegal immigrant apprehensions on the border within the year alone.
Ronchetti will debate Lujan Grisham on KOB 4 on Friday, September 30. The debate will be one hour starting at 7:00 p.m.

NM utilities forced to buy out-of-state power, beg customers to ration usage

New Mexico’s Green New Deal (Energy Transition Act) is continuing to harm New Mexico by creating a vast power shortage. Utilities are buckling for a full-blown power catastrophe next summer as they are forced to “transition” to solar and other “renewable” energy sources.

During a special Public Regulation Commission meeting Thursday, Public Service Co. of New Mexico (PNM) said it is being forced to PNM executives said the utility will fill “quite a hole” next summer due to “green” replacements taking longer to materialize as the San Juan Generating Station is set to close next week.

According to PNM spokesman Ray Sandoval, PNM “generally has a 2,000-megawatt system with about 500 megawatts provided by the San Juan Generating Station.”

With the closure of the San Juan Generating Station, it has purged countless jobs, with only around 80 employees able to retire. “For the rest of the employees, though, they’re going to have to go find some other form of employment,” said plant manager Omni Warner.

The AP reports, “El Paso Electric, a utility that serves customers in southern New Mexico, also is expecting a capacity gap next summer. Like PNM, El Paso Electric will have to buy power from other producers to ensure adequate capacity when customers crank up their air conditioners during the hottest of days.”

The report continues, “PNM officials said they have revamped their plans for alerting customers when it looks like demand will outpace capacity and rolling outages might ensue. The media blitz will include automated calls, television and radio commercials along with social media posts that urge customers to cut back on their use. A special website would go live for tracking outages.”

As for the other effects of New Mexico’s Green New Deal, other than brownouts and lost jobs, electric utilities, including XCEL Energy, are asking to raise rates on their customers because of the Energy Transition Act, passing off large costs back to the consumers.

Eco-leftist company Avangrid continues its attempts to buy out PNM, but its previous attempts have failed at the Public Regulation Commission. However, the takeover remains “very much alive,” especially if far-left Democrat Gov. Michelle Lujan Grisham gets a second term. Via constitutional amendment, voters gave the governor sole authority to appoint members of the PRC. Lujan Grisham has big campaign donations from the out-of-country company, among other connections.

As we previously reported:

It is unclear why anyone lobbied the governor by financing the trip or how much New Mexicans paid for her non-publicized private trip abroad. However, the New Mexico taxpayers paid for her security while she was in Spain.

It is also unclear if there were any joiners on the trip other than her staff and security agents. Could the Governor’s close friend and former business partner New Mexico Rep. Debbie Armstrong have joined the trip as well?

The documents obtained through the IPRA show receipts from Madrid and Gran Canaria, the pay stub to Lt. Gov Morales, showing he was acting in Luajn Grusham’s stead, as well as the Governor’s calendar showing she was gone throughIn 2015, PNM opened a wind farm in Cibola County, which appears to be the wind farm Gov. Lujan Grisham shot her 2018 “Turbine” ad, where she touted her “green energy” proposals while running for governor. AVANGRID has a wind farm called “El Cabo” in Torrence County.

MLG deported illegal aliens to leftist ‘sanctuaries’ before it was cool

During President Donald Trump’s time in the White House, far-left Gov. Michelle Lujan Grisham (D-NM) did what Republican governors are now being attacked for — busing illegal aliens to “sanctuary cities” that protect criminal aliens.

According to the Associated Press, “When migrants overwhelmed cities and shelters in New Mexico in 2019, Democratic Gov. Michelle Lujan Grisham moved several dozen of them by bus from border communities to Denver, where Christian congregations volunteered to provide shelter and aid. Fast forward to 2022 and there is little, if any, talk of transporting migrants away from the border by Lujan Grisham — or Republican nominee for governor Mark Ronchetti.”

In 2019, The Washington Post reported, “A busload of 55 migrants who had been arrested by U.S. border authorities and were then released into the United States left Las Cruces, N.M., on Sunday afternoon bound for Denver, where it arrived at about 2 a.m. Monday and left people in the care of three churches, according to the office of New Mexico Gov. Michelle Lujan Grisham (D), which paid $4,000 for the bus to help ease the burden on cities in the southern part of the state.”

Lujan Grisham said at the time that the Trump administration leaves “states like ours in really precarious positions, and we’re showing folks we can lead and problem-solve. We figured out a way to get 55 folks out of Las Cruces and to Denver. We’re going to continue to do everything like that that we can in the short term.”

Under Joe Biden, there were over two million illegal border crossings just in 2022 alone (2,150,639 to be exact), according to a report from U.S. Customs and Border Patrol released this week.

This comes while Lujan Grisham’s campaign attacks GOP governors for doing what she did just a few short years ago.

“Gov. DeSantis is using this opportunity to distract Americans from the fact that his far-right colleagues are trying to pass a national abortion ban, a position he supports,” Lujan Grisham spokeswoman Maddy Hayden said in a statement Tuesday.

The smell of hypocrisy from Lujan Grisham can’t be overstated, especially since her campaign is now criticizing governors like DeSantis and Greg Abbott (R-TX) when she is the original “deporter” of illegal aliens from her state.

Docs. appear to confirm MLG violated another of her lockdown orders

While New Mexicans were under lockdown during Gov. Michelle Lujan Grisham’s brutal pandemic orders, new documents posted by Brett Kokinadis of “Stop MLG PAC” appear to confirm previously speculated reports that the Governor broke her rules to go on a lake trip to Navajo Lake State Park.

Kokinadis wrote that Information of Public Records Act (IPRA) requests “from DFA (Department of Finance and Administration) show Munoz, Valles, & Medina, members of the gov’s security detail, received their Basic Boating certification during #COVID lockdowns. Why would you need to be boating during COVID, @GovMLG?”

One commenter noted on the post that Lujan Grisham “had already imposed her emergency order -which we are now 917 days into- when she was frolicking at Navajo Lake. Maybe this is what she meant by, you can never be too safe. She was ta[l]king about boating.”

The boating certifications, issued through AceBoter.com for Andrea K. Medina and Jose A. Munoz, are marked with a date of September 16, 2020.

According to the Governor’s office, her August 29, 2020, executive order mandating the pandemic closures ended on September 18, 2020, and was renewed on that date to go through October 16, 2020. It was also renewed after that.

The  Energy, Minerals and Natural Resources Department (EMNRD), which oversees state parks, noted in a press release on May 28, 2020, that state parks were only open for day use by New Mexico residents starting May 28, but overnight stays (such as having a houseboat) was banned.

Multiple correspondences obtained by the Pinon Post show that many in-state and out-of-state residents requested access to their houseboats at Navajo Lake State Park but were denied.

One person wrote to the Governor’s office on September 8, 2020, “We have been denied access to our private property for several months now,” adding, “We believe our houseboat should be considered a NM residence and its owners allowed to access it.”

ENMRD responded, “Park staff and other law enforcement agencies will be checking identification and enforcing this order” banning access.

Another New Mexican wrote on May 28, 2020, “I’m a citizen of the NW part of NM…. My family and I are disciplined in practicing social isolation,” continuing, “We desperately miss our houseboat at Navajo Lake. We do not have visitors when we stay on the lake during the week.”

“Without visiting Navajo Marina and the lake, I realize you may assume a different opinion; however, they are prepared, [set up] to continue business under the new isolation standards.”

But according to the documents from Stop MLG PAC and other reports, Lujan Grisham allegedly stayed on Navajo lake during this pandemic lockdown period, which directly violated her day use-only order, per the ENMRD.

According to a press release from Stop MLG PAC:

Reports included certificates for boating safety courses, VRBO lodging, Navajo Lake Marina fees, and boating packages.

“There are nearly 1,000 pages of receipts containing lavish catered items and alcohol for large parties, excessive daily shopping, travel, and even perhaps activities in Taos, Vail, and boating on a Navajo lake. All this while the Governor scolded New Mexicans and ordered them to stay indoors, away from loved ones, and left to stand in the cold for groceries.”, Kokinadis continued.

Through the inspection of the Public Records Act, Kokinadis was able to target specific violations that violated COVID policies and cost NM taxpayers. In May, Governor Grisham was criticized for violating emergency public health orders, reportedly for keeping a business open so she could buy jewelry. Purchasing jewelry was not the Governor’s only violation of her policy.

Outdoor parks and lakes were closed when these specific boating certifications and Navajo Lake Marina fees were acquired and paid for by taxpayers. Many New Mexicans were banned from enjoying the same outdoor activities the Governor, and her detail enjoyed while on lockdown.

“It’s alarming to see how the Governor and staff waste taxpayer dollars, especially when so many people continue to suffer from her unfair and failed policies. We’re still reviewing the extensive documents and discovering other questionable uses of taxpayer funds.” Kokinadis continued.

Previously, Lujan Grisham was exposed for breaking her pandemic lockdown orders to buy lavish jewelry at Lilly Barrack, an Albuquerque-based luxury jeweler.

The Governor’s Office has been contacted for comment, but no response has been given as of publication.

MLG flies off to DC again, then heads to New York

On Monday, it was reported that far-left Democrat Gov. Michelle Lujan Grisham was heading out to Washington, D.C. again, this time for a Tuesday White House event with Joe Biden to praise his far-left “climate change” law erroneously dubbed the “Inflation Reduction Act.” The mammoth bill costs American taxpayers at least $430 billion, according to Reuters.

Daniel Chacon of the Santa Fe New Mexican reported Monday that Lujan Grisham is “headed to Washington, D.C., at [Joe Biden]’s invitation to attend Tuesday’s signing of the Inflation Reduction Act and also meet with federal officials to advocate for additional wildfire relief.”

“While @GovMLG is in the nation’s capital, she’ll also have a consultation on an ongoing knee injury with an orthopedic surgeon from whom she has previously received treatment, according to her office.”

Chacon added, “After that, she’ll remain in D.C. and New York for political engagements. @GovMLG will return to New Mexico on Friday.”

The trip comes after a slew of disappearances from New Mexico for D.C., including her wedding, which was reported to have been officiated by Kamala Harris.

Lujan Grisham faces a tough reelection challenge from Republican gubernatorial nominee Mark Ronchetti who is polling within single digits of the embattled governor. Libertarian Karen Bedonie is also running.

Lt. Gov. Howie Morales is in charge while Lujan Grisham is away for her East Coast trip.

It turns out Michelle Lujan Grisham is an election denier

A recently resurfaced video from when Democrat Gov. Michelle Lujan Grisham was running for the governorship in 2018 shows she cast doubt on the results of the 2016 election of President Donald J. Trump.

A September 7 tweet from Lujan Grisham claims her regime is “bringing folks together” despite her rhetoric bashing those she disagrees with as “extremists” and calling them “lizard people,” among other jabs, such as during her pandemic lockdown when she belittled the citizens of places like Hobbs and Española.

In response to her tweet, Will Reinert of the Republican Governors Association posted a clip of the governor saying at a campaign event, “I am not Pollyanna about any election. I am living in a world where people I don’t have any idea how they could get elected.”

She added, “And I know that sounds really harsh, but I have people say the most discriminatory and racist things to me. I don’t know how they could be elected with that perspective. I don’t know how you get elected with hate in your heart. I don’t know how you get elected with no vision. I don’t know how you get elected by saying there should be no federal or state government.”

“I don’t understand how we have a president… Well, … Kelly is clear he’s the president. I don’t know about Trump. I don’t know how that happened, but it did happen,” she concluded.

NM taxpayers forked over staggering amount for abortions in 2020-2021

According to New Mexico Department of Health documents obtained by the pro-life group Abortion Free New Mexico, a shocking number of taxpayer-funded abortions happened right here in New Mexico through Medicaid.

The records obtained by the group indicate, “In 2020, New Mexico Medicaid funded 3,372 abortion procedures that resulted in expenditures to abortion providers totaling $386,096.06.”

“In 2021, the numbers rose as New Mexico Medicaid funded 3,955 abortion procedures that resulted in expenditures to abortion providers totaling $421,026.90.”

The group wrote in the press release that New Mexico’s Medicaid system expended “almost $1 million tax dollars funding 7,327 abortions over the course of two years alone.”

The news comes after Democrat Gov. Michelle Lujan Grisham pledged to spend $10 million in 2023 on a new abortion mill in Las Cruces to service Texas women if she wins re-election.

Tara Shaver of Abortion Free New Mexico wrote, “Nearly $1,000,000 of our tax dollars that are already being paid out by New Mexico Medicaid over the past two years alone for 7,327 abortions should alarm us all and motivate us to act!”

“While we can’t stop New Mexico Medicaid from funding abortions, we can work to prevent Michelle Lujan Grisham’s latest attempt to force us as New Mexican citizens to pay for an abortion center that will cater to out of state women seeking to kill their children by voting pro-life. It is vital that each New Mexican of conscience is mobilized to help get pro-life candidates elected in November. Early voting is right around the corner so time is of the essence to volunteer your time, talents and treasure to the candidate of your choice who will stand for life and make sure that Lujan Grisham’s nefarious plans don’t come to fruition.”

Lujan Grisham faces tough competition from GOP nominee Mark Ronchetti, who is polling within single digits of the embattled abortion up-to-birth governor who previously signed a bill in 2021 to legalize abortion up-to-birth in the state of New Mexico by stripping away all protections for mothers, babies, and doctors.

MLG claimed to be ‘product’ of NM ‘public schools system’ despite going to private school

On Tuesday, far-left Gov. Michelle Lujan Grisham was called out on Twitter by school choice advocates for claiming to be “A product of New Mexico’s public schools system” [sic] despite graduating from a private school.

The Democrat’s education platform reads, “A product of New Mexico’s public schools system, Michelle is dedicated to uplifting every student, parent, educator, and school in New Mexico.”

However, Lujan Grisham graduated from St. Michael’s High School, a private Catholic school in Santa Fe, as she also notes on her official government website, “Lujan Grisham was born in Los Alamos and graduated from St. Michael’s High School in Santa Fe.”

Corey A. DeAngelis of School Choice Now wrote on Twitter, “New Mexico Governor Michelle Lujan Grisham’s campaign website says she’s ‘a product of New Mexico’s public schools system.’ She graduated from a private school.”

The Rio Grande Foundation’s Paul Gessing chimed in also:

She also did the very opposite of “uplift” every “ student, parent, educator, and school in New Mexico” due to her pandemic lockdowns which punished teachers who would not get the jab, ramming down the far-left Critical Race Theory curriculum through her Public Education Department, and even going as so far as to remove duly elected school board members who she disagreed with — the antithesis of her promise.

New Mexico’s education marks show 30-year lows in testing, with the deprivation of education for months and years to some children resulting in a barely literate publicly educated student population.

The proficiency tests released by PED show that third-graders had 23% proficiency in language arts, while those figures ebbed and flowed for other grades: fourth-graders (35%), fifth-graders (36%), sixth-graders (33%), seventh-graders (35%), and eighth-graders (33%).

The state’s schools remain dead last on multiple rankings that show New Mexico has the worst public education system in the nation. Lujan Grisham is endorsed by the leftist teacher’s unions, the American Federation of Teachers, and the National Education Association, both of which advocated for lockdowns, forced masking, jabs, and Critical Race Theory.

Like clockwork, Dems make Labor Day about socialism

Monday signifies the federal Labor Day holiday, celebrating working people and the fight at the turn of the last century for humane, fair working conditions. This seemingly non-political holiday to celebrate the working man and woman, of course, had to be seized by left-wing radicals to promote socialism via modern unions and initiatives that work hard to put as much government into private industry as possible.

Democrat Secretary of State Maggie Toulouse Oliver, who previously failed to run for the U.S. Senate in 2020, claims Labor Day is meant to “celebrate our unions who ensure that every worker – regardless of what you make, what you look like, how you pray, who you love, or how you identify – has the rights, benefits, standards, and opportunity we deserve.”

She then continued to tout socialist policies, such as a guaranteed living wage, universal health care, and other government-funded programs, while erroneously claiming there is an attack on the right to vote.

“Every one of us deserves a living wage, access to healthcare, good benefits, adequate working conditions, and easy access to the ballot box,” she wrote.

Democrat Rep. Teresa Leger Fernandez of New Mexico’s Third Congressional District took time on Monday to tout extremist labor leader Dolores Huerta, who said that babies in the womb do not have souls.

Huerta previously said in 2021 to promote abortions, “I know that the child has no soul until they are born. Right?”

Leger Fernandez wrote on Labor Day, “Today, we honor working Americans — and the unions and labor movement that gave us the five day work week and moved our nation forward over the decades. As one of my personal heroes, Dolores Huerta, once said: ‘Honor the hands that harvest your crops.’”

Democrat Gov. Michelle Lujan Grisham shared a video on Labor Day with clips of her posing alongside Huerta while touting organized labor. She did not mention, however, that she has killed over 40% of small businesses in the state due to her brutal pandemic lockdown.

She wrote to tout unions, “When unions exist, everything gets better. Thank you, New Mexico Labor.”

In a subsequent tweet, she promoted socialist policies, writing, “Without your organizing, we would never have achieved paid sick leave, accessible child care, a higher minimum wage, or many other policies that protect working people’s interests.”

Other far-left politicians, such as Rep. Melanie Stansbury (NM-CD-01), Democrat Second Congressional District candidate Gabe Vasquez, and others, wrote similar sentiments online, trying to tie Labor Day with socialist policies.
