Heinrich desecrates Memorial Day, uses holiday to promote abortion

On Memorial Day, most public officials used the somber holiday to honor and remember the fallen U.S. soldiers who have given the ultimate sacrifice for our country’s freedoms.

However, that did not stop New Mexico’s far-left Democrat U.S. Sen. Martin Heinrich from politicizing the day to promote his radical abortion stance.

“Service members and their families are stationed according to need. That means 40% of active-duty servicewomen live in states that have banned or restricted abortion,” he wrote on Twitter.

“We have a bill that will make sure they have access to reproductive care, regardless of where they live.”

New Mexicans responded as expected, with Ronnie Lucero of the Republican National Hispanic Assembly writing in reply, “It’s Memorial Day and this guy is talking about killing babies.”

Another wrote, “You are disgusting. Speaking about abortion rights on Memorial Day. I don’t think the unborn fought and died for our freedom. DISGUSTING!”

“When you think @MartinHeinrich couldn’t sink any lower on a day of remembering the ones that served and sacrificed. He [somehow] sabotages this day. By mixing abortion into this day of remembrance,” wrote another New Mexican.

One person opined, “Never miss an opportunity even if it’s disgusting.  Then again you are what you tweet!!!”

Heinrich supports unrestricted abortion up to the date of birth. He is running for a third term in his seat amid rumblings he is trying to position himself for the governorship in 2026, as incumbent abortion up-to-birth Gov. Michelle Lujan Grisham, a Democrat, is term-limited.

Billionaire-funded eco group pushes ‘electrify everything’ agenda in NM

The far-left enviro-Marxist dark money group 350 New Mexico, funded by billionaires George Soros and Tom Steyer, is holding an event on May 22, 2023, called “Electrify New Mexico,” which aims to push policies that push electric appliances and vehicles in the place of those that run on gas and other natural extractive resources.

The group wrote in a post, “Concerned about health-harming gases in your kitchen? Want an EV, but don’t like the choices available for purchase? Join us as we unveil our new Electrify New Mexico website. It will answer these and other questions about how going electric will save you money, clean your air and reduce carbon emissions.”

Some of the items the group says it wants to become electric include heat pumps, induction stoves, heat pump water heaters, heat pump clothes dryers, electric vehicles, and EV chargers.

“They offer superior efficiency, precision, comfort, and health benefits at the same or lower cost as gas appliances,” the group claims. “And because electricity generation grows cleaner every day, switching to electric is better for the climate too.”

The far-left group has joined others in recent weeks in blasting a veto of hefty electric vehicle tax credits from a recently passed tax package and claims the state Legislature did not do enough to help stop “climate change.”

The group says on its website that it aims at cutting “eliminate 80% of US energy-related emissions” by switching all gas appliances and cars for electric. It says, “Our largest carbon emissions come from our gas cars (50%), home heating (25%) and water heating (10%).”

350 New Mexico also believes that natural disasters and drought weather are due to “climate change,” along with wildfires and reduced snowpack.

Democrats, such as Democrat New Mexico U.S. Sen. Martin Heinrich, have made similar calls to “electrify” everything for the sake of “climate change.” Recently, the Joe Biden regime has taken steps to develop rules limiting the sale of gas appliances and even targeting water usage in dishwashers.

See how New Mexicans are reacting to Heinrich announcing 2024 reelection bid

Democrat U.S. Senator Martin Heinrich just announced his reelection campaign for another term, claiming he’s “all in for re-election in 2024. In his campaign video, he touted his work to push for climate change policies and to take away Americans’ Second Amendment rights.

Here are some of the best reactions to Heinrich’s announcement:

Power The Future’s communications director, Larry Behrens, wrote in response to Heinrich’s announcement, “Since his first day in the Senate, Martin Heinrich continues to be ‘all in’ on whatever Chuck Schumer demands. Martin Heinrich is squarely in the pocket of the environmental left and all he’s helped deliver to our families are record gas prices and massive inflation. New Mexicans deserve a real leader who listens to our state and not another empty suit who does the bidding of his partisan allies in Washington.”

Many were quick to point out that Heinrich lives in Maryland — not New Mexico — as a primary residence. He has been living there for ten years.

“But he does not even live in New Mexico. New Mexico stop voting for this,” one person wrote.

Another chimed in, “You ‘work’ for NM? Then why do you and you family live in Maryland full time?? Been living there for years already.”

“You actually don’t work for New Mexico. You don’t even live here. You work for whatever you’re told to work for by your corporate & party overlords,” one Twitter user wrote

Far-left U.S. Rep. Gabe Vasquez of New Mexico’s Second Congressional District quickly jumped on the bandwagon to endorse Heinrich. However, he remains the only member of New Mexico’s fully Democrat congressional delegation not to endorse Joe Biden for the presidency in 2024.

The National Congressional Campaign Committee’s spokeswoman Delanie Bomar wrote, “Between the porous southern border, surging crime, and skyrocketing inflation, the Biden presidency has been an abject disaster for New Mexicans. Gabe Vasquez has rubber stamped the Biden agenda in Congress, so why is he so afraid to endorse Biden for re-election?”

Other replies noted Heinirch’s far-left actions and votes in office, which turned them off from supporting his reelection.

“As a lifelong democrat I must say that your recent actions and votes disgust me! I’ll be voting Republican for the first time this year and I know millions of other former democrats who will do the same,” wrote a Twitter user.

Finally, the Republican National Hispanic Assembly of New Mexico wrote, “You’re a clown Marty and you’re not going to win. We have a very special candidate for you. He’s been in office before. Enjoy your short time left.”

Heinrich to kick off reelection bid for Senate with governorship in his sights

According to a report by the Santa Fe New Mexican, far-left Democrat U.S. Sen. Martin Heinrich is kicking off his 2024 U.S. Senate reelection bid to hold onto the office until he potentially makes a run for governor in 2026.

“Democratic U.S. Sen. Martin Heinrich plans to kick off his 2024 reelection campaign Friday with a fundraiser in a private home. Senate terms last six years, but Heinrich might try to cut short his stay by running for governor in 2026,” the report notes.

The news comes as Heinrich was just elevated to chairman of the U.S. Congress Joint Economic Committee (JEC) for the 118th Congress, of which he previously served as vice chair and ranking member.

Heinrich said of the elevated role, “Too many people in Washington, D.C. think that if the stock market is going up, the economy is in good shape. But that’s not true for working families in New Mexico or across the country. The way we should measure the success of the economy is if parents can afford to send their kids to college, entrepreneurs can start new businesses, our children are educated and healthy, and workers are able to retire with peace of mind,” adding, “As we continue our economic recovery, ensuring access to quality education, well-paying jobs, affordable healthcare, and clean energy are essential to our collective prosperity.”

Some may take the rhetoric, of which is rare from Heinrich, as a move to position himself in a place of power as he eyes New Mexico’s chief executive office.

“As his campaign begins, Heinrich will have to deal with uncomfortable questions until he supplies answers. Voters need to know if he pledges to complete another term in the Senate, or if he’s going to run for governor,” opined the New Mexican.

The report notes that the “favorite” in the Democrat primary to take over the governorship following incumbent Democrat Gov. Michelle Lujan Grisham would be U.S. Department of the Interior Secretary Deb Haaland, writing, “Deb Haaland would beat him if she wants the job. And Haaland, secretary of the interior, could depart her appointed position more easily than Heinrich could abandon his elective office.”

Gabe Vasquez silent as NM Dems fling 2024 endorsements at Biden

On Tuesday, Joe Biden announced another run for the presidency in 2024 without a formal announcement rally but rather a video touting his support for abortion and weaker election laws.

Naturally, former 2020 vice-presidential shortlisted Gov. Michelle Lujan Grisham of New Mexico has already endorsed the octogenarian.

“I’m proud to stand with @JoeBiden and @KamalaHarris in their reelection campaign – standing together to protect our democracy and freedoms,” she wrote on Twitter.

Far-left U.S. Rep. Teresa Leger de Fernandez (D-NM-03) wrote on Twitter, “Nuevo Mexico, estamos listos para cumplir el trabajo,” which translates to “New Mexico, we are ready to get the job done!”

Other far-left U.S. Rep. Melanie Stansbury (D-NM-01) wrote, “In 2024 we’re going to take back the #USHouse, hold our Senate majority, and re-elect @JoeBiden and @KamalaHarris.”

U.S. Sen. Martin Heinrich (D-NM) wrote, “Historic investments in infrastructure and our climate, 12.4 million new jobs, and the first gun safety reform in decades–just to name a few. We must keep going forward, so let’s finish the job and send @JoeBiden and @KamalaHarris back to the White House!”

U.S. Sen. Ben Ray Luján (D-NM) praised Biden for choosing staffer Julie Chávez Rodríguez as his new campaign manager in his endorsement.

He wrote, “Julie Chávez Rodríguez is a proven leader and organizer, and it’s great to see her continue her family’s legacy of public service. Excellent first hire.”

Noticeably silent was far-left U.S. Rep. Gabe Vasquez, who has yet to endorse Biden for his 2024 shot at the presidency. It is unclear why he is the lone member of New Mexico’s all-Democrat congressional delegation not to endorse, but it could be the same reason former Rep. Xochitl Torres Small was reluctant to endorse Biden in 2020, with him being wildly unpopular across the nation.

A recent USA TODAY/Suffolk University poll found that of those who voted for Biden in 2020, 40 percent of them said he should not run for another term. What is more devastating to the octogenarian is that 35 percent of respondents said they would vote for a third-party candidate over Biden, even if it meant President Donald Trump would win the White House again.

Heinrich rails against Lujan Grisham’s vetoes, sparking ‘26 governor run rumors

On Saturday, New Mexico’s U.S. Sen. Martin Heinrich, a Democrat, took to Twitter to voice his frustrations over Democrat Gov. Michelle Lujan Grisham’s multiple vetoes of legislation he wanted to see reach the finish line.

Although Lujan Grisham signed many extreme far-left bills into law, such as H.B. 9 forcing New Mexicans to lock up their guns at nearly all times, H.B. 207 expanding the “Human Rights Act” with woke transgender ideology, and H.B. 7 mandating public bodies facilitate “gender-affirming care” and abortions, that wasn’t good enough for the Democrat senator.

He wrote on Twitter, “New Mexico’s state legislature took bold action to deliver for our state. I am disappointed to see many of those efforts now vetoed.”

Heinrich bemoaned the governor’s veto of an electric vehicle tax credit that was stripped from the omnibus tax package. He wrote, “Our state legislature passed HB547 to lower taxes for families, veterans, & educators. And it would have made NM a national leader with climate tax incentives – similar to the ones I fought to pass in the IRA. But these reforms were vetoed.”

“The legislature also passed SB426 to give children and others a legal advocate in the AG’s office, responding to CYFD’s systemic failures that continue to place children in real danger. But this legislation was also vetoed,” he claimed.

The measure referenced would have created a “Civil Rights Division” in the state Attorney General’s Office, which would mostly be used as another tool to hunt down New Mexicans over alleged Civil Rights Act and Human Rights Act abuses.

Democrat state Sen. Joseph Cervantes chimed in on the Twitter thread, writing to the senator, “Among vetoes Senator- keeping NM judges lowest paid in the nation. With her stated reason she’s unhappy with the judiciary’s work. That’s the way to get better judges or motivate? Pay far less than raises she gave her own staff and far less than private sector? Hello?”

Heinrich, who has been rumored to want to run for the governorship in 2026, sparked chatter on Twitter of his potential run, with one commenter writing, “Someone is getting ready to run for governor.”

POLITICO’s senior political columnist Jonathan Martin wrote, “Notable swipe at [Gov. Lujan Grisham] ahead of Heinrich’s own potential gov race in ‘26 .”

Sens. Heinrich and Luján meet with abortionists, ‘advocates’ in Las Cruces

Far-left abortion up-to-birth Sens. Martin Heinrich and Ben Ray Luján met with abortion “providers” on Tuesday in Las Cruces to discuss killing more babies in the womb in New Mexico. Shannon Brewer, the executive director of the former Jackson Women’s Health Organization, was in attendance. Her abortion mill relocated to Las Cruces, New Mexico, after Dobbs v. Jackson overturned the pro-abortion Roe v. Wade and Planned Parenthood v. Casey decisions — sending the abortion question back to the states.

In a post, Heinrich called New Mexico a “safe haven” for killing babies while promoting abortion tourism in the state.

“I’m grateful to all the local health care providers and advocates I met with today who are making sure New Mexicans and others from neighboring states get … [abortions],” he said.

He added, “The fight continues, and we will not stop until we permanently protect the right to choose (abortion) for every woman across this nation.”

Lujan wrote, “In Las Cruces, @MartinHeinrich and I met with reproductive health care advocates to talk about the war on reproductive freedom and how we can continue working together to provide essential care to all women.”

It should be noted that abortion is not a necessary medical procedure in any circumstance, and therefore, it is not “health care.” It also does not involve “reproduction” since it kills the child before birth, thus stopping the reproductive process.

New Mexicans responded after Heinrich and Luján posted their anti-life sentiments.

“‘Care’ doesn’t permanently stop a heart on PURPOSE,” one New Mexican wrote.

Another chimed in, “Hypocrite Heinrich supports whatever it takes to keep the black percentage of the population from growing. Stabbing a formaldehyde-filled needle into the skull at the moment of birth is fine with him–4x as fine if the kid is black.”

One person wrote, “I thought men couldn’t comment on the issue of killing babies?” poking a hole in the two far-left senators’ leftist logic.

New Mexico is the abortion capital of the United States, with no protections left for women, babies, or medical professionals after Democrats, upon the request of Gov. Michelle Lujan Grisham, legalized abortion up-to-birth in 2021 with no exceptions.

Heinrich has his most unhinged take yet — this time about gas stoves

On Saturday, far-left Democrat Sen. Martin Heinrich shared an article advocating for doing away with gas ovens, instead to opt for induction (electric) ones.

But his take on the article was what raised eyebrows.

Heinrich wrote while sharing the link, “Would you let your babysitter smoke in your house? Having a gas stove in your home may be just as bad.”

It’s unclear what Heinrich’s obsession with banning gas stoves is all about, but Heinrich has been on this tear for years.

In July of 2021, Heinrich wrote on Twitter, “When you trade out your gas stove for an electric one you lower your monthly energy bills, create jobs, and move us closer to a zero-emissions future. And a bill I’ll be introducing would give you money back for doing that. This is how we build a clean energy powered economy.”

Paul Gessing of the Rio Grande Foundation had some thoughts on Heinrich’s most unhinged comments comparing owning an electric stove to letting one’s babysitter light one up while watching kids.

Gessing wrote on Twitter, “I’m at a loss for words.  Cooking on your stove is like letting your babysitter smoke in your house? WTF? Heinrich is the one smoking something.”

Another commenter wrote, “He should focus on solving actual problems, not conjuring up imaginary ones. Which is unlikely.”

One person wrote in response, “And the Hoodwink continues to descend on into Crazy La la levels. We so need to clean house of these clowns.”

Heinrich previously bragged on social media about supposedly electrifying his home, sharing a video of him installing a new heat pump to supposedly save the planet. We previously reported:

Sen. Martin Heinrich (D-NM), who lives in Silver Springs, Maryland outside of Washington, D.C., bragged … about how he was supposedly “electrifying” his home with expensive new appliances including a new heat pump.

Heinrich shared a video and wrote on Twitter, “The decisions we make around our kitchen tables about the cars we drive and the appliances we use in our homes directly impact the health of our climate & our families. Today, I’m taking the next step to electrify my home and installing our second heat pump.”

This comes as 18.63% of New Mexicans are living below the poverty line and cannot afford to heat their homes during the winter, much less invest in eco-left appliances to “electrify” their homes for the “climate.”

Henrich is a radical enviro-Marxist who supports Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-New York) in her attempt to pass the Green New Deal on a federal level.

Heinrich, who lives in Maryland, brags about ‘electrifying’ his home

Sen. Martin Heinrich (D-NM), who lives in Silver Springs, Maryland outside of Washington, D.C., bragged on Sunday about how he was supposedly “electrifying” his home with expensive new appliances including a new heat pump.

After Heinrich posted the videos of his heat pump installation, New Mexicans responded.

One Twitter user, David Chavez, wrote, “A new heat pump in your house that is not in New Mexico. Here in New Mexico we are more concerned with crime and the homeless. Both keep increasing and all you care about is a new heat pump. But then again you don’t live in New Mexico so how would you know what our issues are.”

Miro Tokarczyk added, “How can such a[n] out of touch politician represent working families who can’t afford EVs and rising electricity and heating bills?”

Leticia Muñoz chimed in with, “How much did it cost out on the east coast? Cuz we know you don’t live in NM so you [didn’t] buy it here.”

An account called TexasNece” commented, “NM gas and oil is cheap, clean and reliable. We can’t afford your climate hysteria.”

Heinrich’s apparently out-of-touch comments come as far-left Democrats passed New Mexico’s Green New Deal in the form of the “Energy Transition Act” while Heinrich is a supporter of a National Green New Deal that would cripple the oil and gas industries which are responsible for heating New Mexicans’ houses in the winter.

Heinrich and Luján vote for eco-terrorist to lead the Bureau of Land Management

In a 50-45 party-line vote, Tracy Stone-Manning was confirmed as the director of the Bureau of Land Management (BLM) on Thursday evening, with both New Mexico senators Martin Heinrich (who resides in Maryland) and Ben Ray Luján voting for the controversial nominee.

Stone-Manning is a known eco-terrorist who was involved in a tree spiking plot in the Idaho forest.

According to one report, “Tree spiking is a dangerous and violent eco-terrorism tactic where metal rods are inserted into trees to prevent them from being cut down. The metal rods damage saws that, in turn, have severely injured people, such as a mill worker whose jaw was split in two from an exploding saw.”

In 1993, Stone-Manning was reportedly granted legal immunity for her testimony that she retyped and sent an anonymous letter to the U.S. Forest Service on behalf of John P. Blount, her former roommate, and friend. The letter can be seen here:

Despite her eco-terrorism, all Democrats, including Luján and Heinrich supported her nomination, giving her extreme power to oversee the Bureau of Land Management. According to the BLM website, “BLM employees in New Mexico, Oklahoma, Texas, and Kansas care for 13.5 million acres of public lands plus 42 million acres of Federal oil, natural gas, and minerals for the use and enjoyment of present and future generations.”

Following Stone-Manning’s confirmation, pro-energy group Power The Future’s Larry Behrens wrote:

Senators Heinrich and Lujan are hoping the wreckage of Joe Biden’s legislative agenda will distract New Mexicans from the confirmation of an eco-terrorist to a high-ranking government position. All the while, green policies are sending energy prices soaring at home and putting Europe on the brink of a supply crisis heading into winter. Tracey Stone-Manning’s confirmation is the clearest sign yet that ‘Blue Collar Joe’ values extreme environmentalism above all else and certainly more than the well-being of our energy workers. New Mexicans are watching, and they won’t be fooled.
