Lujan Grisham killed 1,100 restaurants during brutal pandemic lockdown

Recent reports from the New Mexico Restaurant Association show that Democrat Gov. Michelle Lujan Grisham killed around 1,100 of the 5,775 restaurants in New Mexico during her brutal two-year pandemic lockdown. These restaurants account for nearly one-fifth of all restaurants in the state.

The group’s executive director, Carol Wight, told the Santa Fe New Mexican,  “[T]he fact we lost 18 percent is huge,” adding that 71 percent of restaurant operators do not have “enough employees to support their existing customer demand.”

The Republican Party of New Mexico noted, “These painful closings came despite multiple calls from bipartisan lawmakers to change the Emergency Powers Code to include the State Legislature in the decision-making process.” 

“As a restaurant owner in Mosquero, I have seen firsthand the challenges restaurants across the state have dealt with over the last two years,” said state Representative Jack Chatfield (R-Mosquero). 

“I am not surprised that nearly 20% of our restaurants closed. Unfortunately, Governor Lujan Grisham made these decisions on her own, and our Legislative body was not involved in the [pandemic]-emergency decisions. There is much work to be done to regain the trust of New Mexico’s small business community, as many feel Governor Lujan Grisham has left them behind in favor of national chain establishments.”

During the lockdown, Lujan Grisham bucked her own mandates to buy jewelry while chastising New Mexicans.

The news of the restaurants going under comes after 40% of small businesses closed under her watch, according to the New Mexico Department of Tourism.

During the pandemic, the Governor locked the state down completely, which crippled countless small businesses across the board. The few businesses and religious organizations that defied Lujan Grisham were plunged into even further financial ruin with fines of up to $60,000 and State Police ordered to shut businesses down.

While ruling during the pandemic, Lujan Grisham constantly bashed people across the state, even publicly shaming people in places like Española and Hobbs who she saw did not wear masks driving or eating at a restaurant.

During the holidays, Lujan Grisham forced New Mexicans to stand in cold breadlines to buy food and basic goods, with the elderly, disabled, and children forced to face the cold while the Governor feasted on taxpayer-funded $200/lb Wagyu steaks and skirted her pandemic orders to buy luxury jewelry.

New Mexicans are now continuing to face the consequences of Lujan Grisham’s harsh orders, many paying with the destruction of their livelihoods, including the 40% of small businesses gone forever.

Sens. Heinrich and Luján meet with abortionists, ‘advocates’ in Las Cruces

Far-left abortion up-to-birth Sens. Martin Heinrich and Ben Ray Luján met with abortion “providers” on Tuesday in Las Cruces to discuss killing more babies in the womb in New Mexico. Shannon Brewer, the executive director of the former Jackson Women’s Health Organization, was in attendance. Her abortion mill relocated to Las Cruces, New Mexico, after Dobbs v. Jackson overturned the pro-abortion Roe v. Wade and Planned Parenthood v. Casey decisions — sending the abortion question back to the states.

In a post, Heinrich called New Mexico a “safe haven” for killing babies while promoting abortion tourism in the state.

“I’m grateful to all the local health care providers and advocates I met with today who are making sure New Mexicans and others from neighboring states get … [abortions],” he said.

He added, “The fight continues, and we will not stop until we permanently protect the right to choose (abortion) for every woman across this nation.” 

Lujan wrote, “In Las Cruces, @MartinHeinrich and I met with reproductive health care advocates to talk about the war on reproductive freedom and how we can continue working together to provide essential care to all women.” 

It should be noted that abortion is not a necessary medical procedure in any circumstance, and therefore, it is not “health care.” It also does not involve “reproduction” since it kills the child before birth, thus stopping the reproductive process.

New Mexicans responded after Heinrich and Luján posted their anti-life sentiments.

“‘Care’ doesn’t permanently stop a heart on PURPOSE,” one New Mexican wrote.

Another chimed in, “Hypocrite Heinrich supports whatever it takes to keep the black percentage of the population from growing. Stabbing a formaldehyde-filled needle into the skull at the moment of birth is fine with him–4x as fine if the kid is black.” 

One person wrote, “I thought men couldn’t comment on the issue of killing babies?” poking a hole in the two far-left senators’ leftist logic.

ABQ City Council votes 5-4 to force taxpayers to fund Planned Parenthood

On Monday, the Albuquerque City Council reaffirmed its previous vote to force city taxpayers to fork over $250,000 to fund the Planned Parenthood corporation, which kills babies in the womb.

Despite claiming the partnership with the abortion company was only for necessary medical procedures, it would still force Albuquerque taxpayers to fund abortions.

New Mexico Alliance for Life wrote on Facebook following the vote, “ABQ City Council Votes 5-4 to Keep Forced Taxpayer Abortion Funding. Pro-Abortion ABQ Republican Trudy Jones Votes with Radical Dems.”

In a previous email from the group, it wrote, “This unprecedented action of the Albuquerque City Council to directly fund a multi-million [dollar] abortion corporate empire is not only an abuse of taxpayer funds but goes against 73% of Americans who oppose taxpayer-funded abortions.”

73% of Americans, including pro-choice individuals, women, and millennials, oppose mandated taxpayer funding of abortions, according to a recent Marist/Knights of Columbus poll.

In a previous op-ed from New Mexico Sun, City Councilor Renee Grout wrote, “This is not a simple disagreement on a political issue. For many people, abortion is sanctioned murder. It is wasteful and wrong to give $250,000 of taxpayer money to a business that makes $1.3 billion every year advocating for and performing this procedure.”

Councilor Tammy Fiebelkorn, the sponsor of the $250,000 blank check to Planned Parenthood, was annoyed that the Council was revisiting the vote, saying, “Now is not the time to roll back something that we literally passed two months ago.”

Schiff to headline ‘virtual’ fundraiser for Toulouse Oliver, Vasquez

On Monday, the Democrat Party of New Mexico (DPNM) announced that far-left U.S. Reps. Adam Schiff (D-CA) and Jamie Raskin (D-MD) would headline a “virtual” fundraiser Wednesday along with dark money George Soros group League of Conservation Voters on behalf of Democrats Secretary of State Maggie Toulouse Oliver and Gabe Vasquez, who is running for Congress in the Second Congressional District.

DPNM added that Reps. Melanie Stansbury of the First District and Teresa Leger Fernandez of the Third District would also be in attendance to raise cash for the far-left candidates.

The leftist congressional representatives are joining the event put together by a radical group called “The Next 50,” which attempts to elect candidates who support “justice, equity, and opportunity for all.”

Regarding Vasquez, the group openly admits that gerrymandering allowed the Second District to be more attainable for Democrats this year, writing, “Due to redistricting, NM-02 is in play again.” Vasquez is a known anti-American radical who thinks the United States is a racist nation. Yet, now he wants to serve in the U.S. Congress.

The group wrote regarding Toulouse Oliver, “We cannot take any secretary of state seat for granted, especially in a year that Democrats are facing headwinds and in a state that had a Republican governor as recently as 2018.”

Toulouse Oliver supports radical policies to remove protections from New Mexico’s election system that will implement more fraud into the state’s voting processes. She has taken money from dark money groups, including the League of Conservation Voters, despite claiming to be against dark money.

Schiff peddled conspiracy theories about the 2016 election and was a main player in the “Russia Hoax,” which resulted in no findings of so-called “collusion” between President Donald Trump and Russians.

Also dubbed “Little Pencil Neck” by Trump, Schiff was one of the masterminds behind the two impeachment hoaxes that both exonerated Trump from wrongdoing.

MLG, Dems lose their minds as DeSantis rallies for Ronchetti in Carlsbad

On Sunday, firebrand conservative Gov. Ron DeSantis (R-FL) rallied in Carlsbad for New Mexico Republican gubernatorial nominee Mark Ronchetti, who faces off against embattled incumbent Democrat Gov. Michelle Lujan Grisham, whose scandal-ridden tenure has made national attention.

“Your governor had some of the most brutal lockdowns in this country, and you know how I know that? Because for the whole time during [the pandemic], Florida was a place of refuge for people,” DeSantis told the massive crowd of thousands.

Republican Congresswoman Yvette Herrell of the Second Congressional District said during her remarks, “We need more God and less government!”

Ronchetti told the crowd during his speech, “What she’s trying to do is demonize anyone who doesn’t agree with her. I have never seen someone who is supposed to be a leader try to divide and pit people against each other like she does.”

Following the rally, Democrats lost their minds on social media and in quotes to the news media.

​​“By campaigning with DeSantis, Mark Ronchetti and Yvette Herrell have made it absolutely clear that they are aligning themselves with the radical right and will bring nightmare GOP policies right here to New Mexico,” Democrat Party of New Mexico chair Jessica Velasquez whined to KOB 4. 

Vasquez appears to think being against stringent lockdowns, indoctrinating young children with sexual content and Critical Race Theory in classrooms, and being for citizens’ Constitutional rights. 

Before the rally, Lujan Grisham posted on social media, desperately trying to bash all who attended the rally as “extremists” while calling the three “MAGA All-Stars.”

During the rally, DeSantis chided far-left Green New Deal policies like those in New Mexico. Lujan Grisham tweeted, “Two MAGA peas in a pod,” referring to Ronchetti and DeSantis’ similar views on being against enviro-Marxist policies.

Another incredibly triggered tweet continued the January 6 conspiracy theory, claiming it was an “insurrection.”

The Governor wrote, “While @MarkRonchettiNM is here sympathizing with extremist white nationalist groups, @RonDeSantisFL refuses to refer to January 6th as an insurrection. Mark, I will NEVER allow you to import this toxicity from Florida into our state.”

A far-left reporter from “Source New Mexico,” Shaun Griswold, was denied entry into the event after writing a leftist screed erroneously claiming Ronchetti had ties to “white nationalist” groups. He naturally claimed victimhood by being denied entry to the private campaign event.

However, leftist news sources, including the Albuquerque Journal, KOAT 7, KOB 4, KRQE 13, the Las Cruces Sun-News, and others, were allowed entry, decimating Griswold’s claims of non-transparency. 

Despite the leftist freakout, DeSantis and Ronchetti were well-received at the Carlsbad event, with thousands from across the state making the trip to see them.

Lujan Grisham attacks New Mexicans who oppose her as ‘extremists’

Far-left Gov. Michelle Lujan Grisham, who is up for reelection, has become increasingly defensive, with most of her social media posts and fundraising pleas attacking her Republican opponent Mark Ronchetti.

In a string of nasty emails and tweets, Lujan Grisham has claimed Ronchetti and Gov. Ron Desantis (R-FL), who will stump for him Sunday in Carlsbad, are “extremists.” 

The attacks from the embattled governor who paid off an alleged sexual assault victim $150,000 don’t just stop at Ronchetti and DeSantis. Now, Lujan Grisham is claiming all New Mexicans who do not support her are “far-right extremists.” 

She wrote on Twitter that Ronchetti “wishes his ties to far-right extremists would stay hidden, but this weekend he is making the mistake of inviting them all out,” referring to New Mexicans supporting his campaign and that of U.S. Rep. Yvette Herrell (R-CD2), who will join DeSantis and Ronchetti at the rally.

Ronchetti wrote following the attack that Lujan Grisham “started her campaign by calling New Mexicans who opposed her ‘lizard people.’ Today, she called them ‘extremists.’” He added, “New Mexicans deserve better than a governor who demonizes and insults citizens who disagree with her.” 

Ronchetti is referring to her campaign launch, where she bashed New Mexicans drowning her out as “lizard people.” 

The Governor then claimed following the “lizard people” attack that she took “the high road” by calling them names. 

Many New Mexicans denounced Lujan Grisham’s latest demeaning attack against her political opponents, including Republican New Mexico House Leader Jim Townsend (R-Artesia) who wrote, “Mark is right. MLG’s comment is ludicrous, disrespectful to New Mexican’s but typical of this Governor’s hyper political rhetoric. Shameful.”

Otero County votes to sue SOS Maggie Toulouse Oliver

On Thursday, the Otero County Commission held a special meeting at the Flickinger Center in downtown Alamogordo to discuss the findings of the Otero County audit, which resulted in the uncovering of multiple abnormalities. Presenting on the fraud included IT expert Jeffrey Lenberg, Professor David Clements, Erin Clements, and Cynthia Butler, a statistician. 

Butler’s findings from a statistical analysis of votes were that there are margins of error in Otero County around 20 to 30 percent, which she said “is consistent with mail-in ballot stuffing” and “digital ballot stuffing.” 

Erin Clements presented the abnormalities in voting registration data. One interesting finding in her presentation was that trends in voter registrations through the New Mexico Motor Vehicle Division (MVD) continued in constant patterns even when Democrat Gov. Michelle Lujan Grisham closed down the MVD during the pandemic, signifying algorithms artificially adding these new voters. She also mentioned ballot boxes in Doña Ana County found in a warehouse that had 3,000 to 5,000 ballots unsecured.

In Otero County’s case, Clements found indications that there were absentee ballot envelopes with multiple postmarks, birth years and Social Security numbers unfilled, indications that ballots were scanned twice, tabulators filling out unfilled ballot questions, tabulators counting folds as votes, and machines being incorrectly programmed for write-ins.

Lenberg focused on how the New Mexico voting machines were running out-of-date software while the 2020 General Election project file was missing from Otero County. Lenberg explained how risk-limiting audits, like those in New Mexico, do not work. He noted how Otero County is “one of the few counties to take action” and to “clear the air.” He noted how his inspection into fraud in Antrim County, Michigan triggered the Department of Homeland Security to demand a special prosecutor be appointed to persecute him.

The audit of Otero County resulted in a 500-page assessment report showing all the fraud found in the county. Recommendations for the County include decoupling the election process, where a tabulator company does not audit their own machines and where scans of ballots by the individual precinct are uploaded to a public site immediately following the election to ensure transparency. Other recommendations are included in their report. 

David Clements said, “Public trust has been eviscerated,” regarding the election process. 

The Otero County Commission approved two measures at the meeting. One was to pursue a lawsuit against Secretary of State Maggie Toulouse Oliver on a vote of 2-1 and a motion to remove drop boxes, remove voting machines, and hand count ballot on a vote of 2-1. Commissioners Marquardt and Couy Griffin voted in support of both measures, while the lone vote against both was Commissioner Gerald Matherly.

Matherly’s reservations regarding the measures were that he thought he would get in legal trouble if he supported them. 

“This right here means absolutely nothing except we’re gonna get in trouble,” Matherly said regarding the second measure to remove drop boxes. 

When discussing the lawsuit against Toulouse Oliver, Matherly said, “The Secretary of State is strictly doing her job to uphold what the representatives — the state law says. That’s in the book. To sue her is going to be a waste of time, in my eyes, because she was strictly doing her job.” 

Erin Clements said in response to Matherly, “And the statutes are clear that the Secretary of State is the one who certifies the machine, Commissioner Matherly…. She’s certainly culpable for certifying the machines.”

Emshadi: Slayings wouldn’t have gotten media attention if victims not Muslim

Late Monday, a suspect had been apprehended in the slaying of multiple Muslim men in Albuquerque. The suspect, Muhammad Syed, 51, from Afghanistan, was apprehended near Santa Rosa, fleeing to Texas. 

Following the news of the alleged attacker’s arrest, Khalid Emshadi, candidate for New Mexico state House District 24, said in a statement, “It brings me great joy to know that the man responsible for the murders that have shaken and divided our community has been caught. I want to especially thank all of the law enforcement officers involved for their hard work.”

“However, the arrest of the man responsible for these crimes does not disqualify the fact that we have a lot of work to do as a state, city. and community. As a Muslim man, it breaks my heart to know that these homicides would not have received the media attention, nor the attention from politicians, that they received if the victims had not been Muslims.”

As of the end of July, there have been 68 homicide cases and 73 victims of homicide in 2022 alone. This large number of killings appears on track to beat 2021’s homicide number, which hit a staggering 117 — the largest in the history of the Duke City.

Emshadi said, “Innocent people are being killed nearly every single day in Albuquerque. Victims are diverse in their skin color. ethnicity, religion, gender. sexual orientation, etc., but the thing that they all have in common is that they are New Mexicans. They had families, friends, children, co-workers, and people who loved them. We need to acknowledge the fact that we have a much deeper problem in Albuquerque. Policies and laws have outcomes. and we have been seeing those outcomes in Albuquerque: high crime, homelessness. poverty, just to name a few.”

He concluded, “Everyone needs to understand that this is not normal, and we, as citizens, can do something about this. Start a non-profit. run for office, volunteer for a campaign, and most importantly, vote. What we can’t do is stand by and continue to let these tragedies happen. I fear the day that I may receive a call that something terrible has happened to my children, or that my children hear of something terrible happening to me. We need to take our city back.”

Previously, Emshadi said he did not feel safe door knocking for his campaign against Rep. Liz Thomson (D) while a vigilante was out on the streets targeting Muslims. He said at the time, “As much as [I] hate to do this, I will not be in public with the exception of work until this killer is caught. I cannot risk my safety with a serial killer killing Muslims on the loose. I need to do what’s necessary to protect my family.”

MLG freaks out after news of DeSantis campaign stop for Herrell, Ronchetti

On Tuesday, shortly following the announcement that firebrand conservative Gov. Ron DeSantis (R-FL) is coming to New Mexico to promote Congresswoman Yvette Herrell and GOP gubernatorial nominee Mark Ronchetti, Democrat Gov. Lujan Grisham went in full-blown panic mode.

In a frantic email to supporters, Lujan Grisham claim Ronchetti and DeSantis are the “extremist GOP,” while dubbing DeSantis “​​one of the key leaders of the MAGA movement.”

She wrote, “It’s no surprise that Ron DeSantis supports Mark Ronchetti. They’re both Trump-style Republicans who want to restrict abortion, deny science, and let white supremacist hate groups off the hook.”

Ronchetti “permits” abortion up to the 15th week, which is consistent with a majority of New Mexicans and Americans who believe there should be limits on the life-ending procedure. Lujan Grisham backs abortion up to birth and infanticide. 

It is unclear what the scandal-ridden governor means by “deny science” since she denies that there are two genders and that babies are humans in the womb. Her claim that Ronchetti and DeSantis “let white supremacist hate groups off the hook” is also unfounded, as there are no signs this is the case. 

“Ron DeSantis’ plan this weekend is to raise a boatload of money for my opponent, help him surge ahead in the polls, and turn New Mexico into MAGA territory. But we’re not going to let that happen,” Lujan Grisham claimed. 

She then begged for money, writing, “To put a halt to the MAGA movement, I need to hit my $25,000 before Ron DeSantis reaches New Mexico this weekend. It’s the only way I’ll have enough funding to counter GOP lies and reach voters with the truth.” 

She concluded with another plea, asking, “will you donate $5 right now to help me defeat GOP extremism?”

APD chief: Suspect apprehended in Duke City slayings of Muslim men

According to reports from the Albuquerque Police Department, a suspect in the murders of four Muslim men in Albuquerque has been apprehended.

According to a tweet from Albuquerque Police Chief Harold Medina, “We tracked down the vehicle believed to be involved in a recent murder of a Muslim man in Albuquerque. The driver was detained and he is our primary suspect for the murders. We will update the media later this afternoon.

Medina did not immediately release the name of the suspect. The killings of Muslim men in Albuquerque have garnered national attention, with both politicians and advocacy groups decrying the violence.

The Department previously released a wanted poster showing a photograph of the suspect driving a gray Volkswagen Jetta:

ABQ Raw reported:

Downtown ABQ – A suspect in the Muslim killings around the metro is in police custody. We have learned from a source that was not authorized to speak to the media that a person of interest is currently being detained by the NMSP and APD officials downtown. The man is said to have been taken into custody last night by a joint NMSP/APD SWAT team in the ABQ metro area. Detectives have been working relentlessly for days to figure out who the killer is.

According to a City of Santa Rosa Police Dispatch supervisor, last night a pursuit was going through the town of Santa Rosa with New Mexico State Police in pursuit of the Volkswagen suspect vehicle from APD’s flyer. The local agencies helped shut down the highway exits to keep the pursuit out of town. At the 277 exit east bound the suspect vehicle was stopped by police. Officers took the suspect into custody by force using a bean bag non lethal weapon.

Emergency medical services were called to the scene and the suspect was checked out and cleared. He was then transported to Albuquerque for interviews with investigators.
