On Thursday, failed ex-Rep. Xochitl Torres Small, a far-left extremist former member of the House of Representatives, announced she is joining a political action committee called “Shield PAC,” which aims to help vulnerable Democrat incumbents in Congress and pick up seats in the 2022 midterms.
According to the Washington Post, the PAC will try to “inoculate their most vulnerable incumbents from the type of attacks that proved so effective in 2020, when they lost seats in the House.”
The PAC will help people like vulnerable Rep. Conor Lamb (D-PA), another far-left member of the House, who claims to be “moderate,” despite his abysmal voting record of voting with socialist Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY) nearly 90% of the time. He votes with Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) over 93% of the time, according to ProPublica.
Shield PAC aims to “shield” these so-called “moderate” Democrats from supposed “false” attacks by Republicans branding leftist extremists like Lamb and ex-Rep. Torres Small as “radicals, using politically toxic positions they don’t hold.”
According to the PAC website, it claims that if these Democrats don’t keep their seats, “the seditionist, Trump-loving GOP will take over the House.” These extreme attacks from a supposed “moderate” Democrat PAC show that these calls for moderation appear to be merely smoke and mirrors.
Torres Small wrote on her Twitter, “Honesty and facts matter. That’s why I’m proud to help launch Shield PAC, an effort to support House moderates by telling the truth about their work and defending against partisan lies.”

The announcement comes after a bitter race between her and current Congresswoman Yvette Herrell, who had a resounding victory over Torres Small in 2020 following many instances of fraud in the 2018 race where Herrell supposedly “lost” due to late-night statistically impossible Democrat-heavy absentee ballot dumps in Doña Ana County.
Torres Small supported socialist taxpayer-funded “free” college, amnesty for criminal aliens, New Mexico’s “mini” Green New Deal, and bills that would put men in women’s bathrooms. When I asked her directly to address her refusal to support a bill giving basic medical care for babies born alive after botched abortions, she stood by her infanticide stance. Torres Small also voted to impeach President Donald J. Trump, which likely was the final nail in her coffin.
It is unclear if Torres Small will try another run for the Second District, but her extreme rhetoric claiming President Donald Trump supporters are “seditionist, Trump-loving GOP” members are certainly not calls for “unity” by any means.
President Donald Trump has been the single most active, accomplished, representative, and straightforward president our country has ever had, and we would be hard-pressed to find anyone who has done more for this wonderful nation than President Donald J. Trump.
Through all the trials our country has faced, from Democrat obstruction and RINO (Republican in name only) deflection to Chinese pandemics and years-long witch hunts, President Trump charged ahead and brought forth a vision, not only of American greatness but of an America that finally recognizes the hard-working men and women who fight each and every day to keep our country powered and moving ahead.
President Trump focused his campaign talking about the men and women who so-often are scoffed at by ivory tower coastal elites and Washington, D.C. insiders who openly mock those working blue-collar and service jobs (the very jobs that keep the lights on).
Trump focused on our hard-working coal miners, oil workers, energy refiners, teachers, farmers, ranchers, truckers, construction workers, restaurant workers, medical professionals, and so many others who do the critical work to make our nation great.
With Trump, the everyday man and woman finally had a candidate who not only cared about them—but lifted them up and recognized them for their invaluable contribution to our society and their love for our country.
That is exactly why I jumped on the Trump Train on June 16, 2015. And I’ve got to tell you; I have absolutely no regrets in my support for him, from the hilarious jokes he made during his speeches on the campaign trail, to his very serious achievements during his presidency that have brought America back to greatness.
In the beginning, I can’t tell you how many people came up to me puzzled, asking me why, of all the GOP candidates running for president, did I choose Donald Trump? And my answer was very simple: We finally had a candidate in Donald Trump who didn’t BS us with a politician’s filter. He put his money where his mouth is and funded his own campaign, not having to rely on the Washington, D.C. swamp or coastal elites to bankroll (AKA buy) him. He had the right reasons for running—not for his own career, but because he saw a hurting America that he knew needed an ordinary American to fix.
I still got laughed at by Democrats and many Republicans, who thought Donald Trump was a joke. But I didn’t care, and I still don’t care. I’ve always seen him as a very real and very necessary candidate after both the feckless Republicans and the hateful Democrats abandoned the American people time after time. Trump was not the average weak and spineless RINO like Bush or Romney. He was and still is a fighter, to the very bitter end if, necessary.
During his parting address in the White House on January 19, 2021, he noted his fighter spirit, saying, “I did not seek the easiest course; by far, it was actually the most difficult. I did not seek the path that would get the least criticism. I took on the tough battles, the hardest fights, the most difficult choices because that’s what you elected me to do. Your needs were my first and last unyielding focus.”
My first Trump rally was on September 14, 2015, in Dallas, Texas, at the American Airlines Center, and the gigantic stadium was packed to the brim. The energy was not like anything I had ever experienced before. It was like a giant family reunion with like-minded patriots who all knew Donald Trump was the one guy who could finally chip away at the corrupt political system.
September 14, 2015 Trump Rally, Dallas, Texas
Since then, I have been an unflinching supporter of our president. In 2016, I saw that my local Republican party wasn’t putting up signs in support of Trump, so I stepped up to fill the void, buying and erecting Trump signs across my area of town in New Mexico to support the future President.
Although the president did not win my state in 2016, he won the presidency nonetheless, and he’s accomplished more than any president in the history of our country in just one short term. He chopped the head off of ISIS, brokered historic peace deals in the Middle East, moved the American embassy in Israel from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem, unemployment reached a record low 3.5%, he championed through a vaccine for the China Virus in record time, he massively cut regulations on business and industry, majorly defunded Planned Parenthood, the United States reached energy independence, he chipped away at the Obamacare disaster, he lowered taxes, confirmed over 230 federal judges in record time, he built 452 miles of southern border wall, and that’s just the tip of the iceberg.
As President Trump said at the Values Voter Summit in 2019, “They’re coming after me because I’m fighting for you.” And boy, has he fought for us every step of the way in every single regard. And although the 2020 election was stolen from him due to massive voter fraud across the board, his legacy will live on, and I am proud to have fought alongside him to champion his agenda and to try to stop the Democrats from stealing the election.
We have a long and hard fight ahead, and that same spirit we brought to fight against the Democrats’ steal, we must now channel to fight against the wickedness of the upcoming illegitimate administration of Joe Biden, who has promised to completely change our country.
All the progress President Trump made in four years can be eroded by Joe Biden. Biden has promised to raise taxes, hike energy costs with a “Green New Deal,” fund late-term abortions, focus on transgender issues, rip down the wall on our southern border, install unaffordable socialist “Bidencare,” defund the police, and worst of all, “negotiate” with the Chinese, who oppress their own people and have had shady business dealings with Biden in the past.
We must all resist Joe Biden and Kamala Harris with all of our might, not only to avenge President Trump but to salvage what’s left of our nation after a Biden administration. Just like me, I know many of you fought like hell, from protesting in front of the New Mexico Capitol, the U.S. Capitol, the Supreme Court, and even in front of abortion facilities; we need to amp up our efforts.
We must demand our state legislatures put forth voting integrity mechanisms, including paper ballots, signature matching, voter ID, a ban on ballot harvesting, removal of Dominion voting machines, and mandated poll challengers and watchers to see every single vote being counted and cast at every single precinct.
If we allow the Democrats to steal more elections in 2022 and beyond, our work and time spent protesting will be for naught. Email and call state representatives, members of Congress, and any elected leader who will hear you. No matter what the Democrats and feckless RINOs try to do to us, never let them stop hearing your voices.
I am committed to fighting for our rights here in New Mexico and beyond with everything I’ve got, and I hope you will join me. From wherever you live across this great nation, we must never give an inch to Biden and his fraudulent, wicked administration, which is chock-full of swamp rats and career D.C. insiders who absolutely despise the common man and woman.
President Trump forever will be our 45th president and I will recognize him as the current president, as Joe Biden and Kamala Harris have been frauded into office. No matter when you got on the Trump Train, I implore you to never get off. It is not easy to fight, but nothing worth fighting for is ever easy. God bless you, my fellow patriots, and may you never lose the spirit in your hearts and your love for this great country, which we have the honor of calling the United States of America.
On Thursday, Gov. Lujan Grisham held a COVID-19 briefing for the first time in a month, going over her plans for increased testing and administering the COVID-19 vaccine. She also was asked about the upcoming Inauguration and her decision to declare a state of emergency while erecting a massive fence around the state Capitol
“We’re seeing a drop-off in appetite for testing and we can’t have that,” said Gov. Lujan Grisham, who appeared to want to boost testing numbers. She also said the following regarding her preparations for security ahead of the presidential Inauguration on January 20th:
We’ve taken seriously all of the intel, which is not public even to some governors, right? There’s some very secure information that the FBI and others have. But they are certainly alerting us that being prepared is prudent–that there are calls to action to domestic terrorism groups all across the country and that those groups might try to travel into your state, some members of your state may be part of those groups, and I take that incredibly seriously.
So, the safety of every single New Mexican during this next week and and beyond is first and foremost on my mind, and I believe, to date, that we have taken effective precautions for everyone.
…
Earnestly, there isn’t a governor in the country, including me, who doesn’t wish that we weren’t having to take these precautions and to do this preparedness and planning. My message to New Mexicans is… stay safe, and stay home. This is a week where if you’re celebrating the Inauguration, you can do that from your living room. If you’re displeased, then you do that from your living room. That we watch a peaceful transition of power, which is what this country is built on.
And my last message is I ask for people to really work hard to keep everyone safe because no violence–domestic terrorism will not be tolerated here–and everyone who participates, if they participate, in any of those efforts in this state–they will be held swiftly and firmly accountable. And we will use the full extent of the law to do just that. But we are preparing every day.
Earlier in the day, the Governor issued a melodramatic emergency declaration order due to the “threat of riots of insurrection.” It should be noted that the Inauguration of Joe Biden as president on January 20th is allegedly illegitimate due to widespread voter fraud across the United States.
It should be noted that during the summer, violent Black Lives Matter and Antifa protests erupted, resulting in the Governor giving these individuals a free pass to loot and riot in the streets, saying, “This is a violation of the mass gatherings, no doubt, but we’re just going to take a leap of faith in protecting protesters who have no other way, quite frankly. Right? There’s no other way to be seen, to be heard, to be respected, and to be clear about your message.”
Later in the presser, Gov. Lujan Grisham shoved local sheriffs and officials under the bus for not following her COVID-19 guidelines. She said the following:
I am still disappointed. I don’t think that we’re getting enough cooperation from local law enforcement on any of the public health orders, and you know, we recently received a complaint about a local mayor who continues to show up without a mask and engage in violations against the public health order. And we have an opportunity, and we have a court action that we have against this particular mayor to make sure this mayor is held accountable.
I think this movement where people are confused that states are somehow using public health orders to thwart elected independence. It’s just frankly shortsighted and nonsense. Nobody wants a public health emergency. Everyone is required to do their part. Governors, in different fashions, absolutely have the power to declare emergencies and to work cohesively to do it. So I remain disappointed. That doesn’t mean that I don’t keep trying to do two things: engage more law enforcement personnel, including duly elected sheriffs, to work with us, not against us. Two, to make sure that they know that they don’t get to pick and choose which laws to enforce and not to enforce, and three to make all of our lawmakers clear that we have to be on the same page.
…
I do hope as this nation heals and figures out ways to have a better platform to debate and disagree and be professional and work through that, I hope that also roots itself in law enforcement, all elected officials all across the country. This is just not how we ought to be working together. And again, it’s a violation of their oath. We pay attention. We see that blatant facebook and other posts or statement, and we give them to the Attorney General and others, and I expect folks to do all of their jobs statewide, but I remain a little frustrated that that’s where we still are a year later.
On Wednesday, U.S. House Speaker Nancy Pelosi is set to force through a rushed and vengeful second impeachment attempt in her chamber of Congress, which already has anti-Trump neocons and Democrats licking their lips at the prospect of taking down President Trump.
Democrats in New Mexico’s U.S. House delegation have lined up one by one and proudly shouted their support for another impeachment charade. This time, the impeachment claims the President “incited” what Democrats are calling “insurrection.”
U.S. Sen. Martin Heinrich wrote on his Facebook wall, “So should Donald Trump be impeached? Obviously. Should he be allowed to ever hold office again? Absolutely not. There must be accountability as we hold responsible those who committed these violent acts, those like the President who incited these crimes, and those who enabled the President’s worst impulses.”
According to the Roswell Daily Record, Adan Serna, a spokesman for Democrat Ben Ray Luján, said, “If the impeachment proceedings come to the U.S. Senate and there is a trial, Lujan will support impeachment.”
First-term Rep. Teresa Leger Fernandez posted on Facebook, “Our beloved democracy was violently attacked. It’s time to finally hold this President accountable.”
Rep. Deb Haaland did not respond to comments from the media today about the impeachment. However, she was rabidly supportive of the Democrats’ first impeachment attempt. She is former Vice President Joe Biden’s nominee for Department of the Interior despite her lack of experience in land management.
New Mexico’s lone Republican in the delegation, Rep. Yvette Herrell, spoke out strongly against impeachment or invocation of the 25th Amendment to remove President Trump, writing, “I don’t believe invoking the 25th or going through a second impeachment is really healthy for the nation. I think it puts fuel on the fire and I’m not in favor of that.”
The U.S. House of Representatives is slated to vote on the partisan impeachment attempt this afternoon. All of New Mexico’s congressional Democrats will likely vote for impeachment.
Over the weekend, David K. Clements, a business law professor at New Mexico State University (NMSU) and former candidate for U.S. Senate in 2014, broke his silence on a left-wing letter the University President, John D. Floros, was disseminating.
Clements, who described himself as a “NeverTrumper,” said he did not vote for Trump or Clinton in 2016, but he did vote for the 45th President in 2020.
In the video, he describes the double-standards he sees reeking from the left as they work to discredit and lie about the protesters who entered the U.S. Capitol on January 6th, interrupting a joint session of Congress as they prepared to vote on certification of the allegedly fraudulent presidential election.
“I don’t like making these type[s] of videos. I like my privacy. I don’t like confrontation, but I feel compelled to respond to an email that was sent yesterday by the President of the University because I feel someone needs to speak up for a large segment of the University that is silent,” said Clements. He added, “I hope to give you an idea of what a Trump voter might look like because right now, I’m seeing all kinds of things being sent through social media online that has equated Trump voters as ‘traitors,’ as ‘treasonous scum,’ as ‘racist.’”
“75 million people–at least–voted for President Trump,” Clements noted. He mentioned one of these liberals dehumanizing Trump voters, state Rep. Liz Thomson (D-Albuquerque), who wrote on her Twitter account that Trump voters should be “forever branded with a Scarlet S for seditionist.” The Piñon Post previously reported on this statement by Thomson.
He then read from the letter NMSU President Floros penned.
“Wednesday was a scary and difficult day. The heart of our democratic institutions, in the building that symbolizes freedom and democratic ideals around the world, was brutally attacked by an angry mob incited by a group of demagogues claiming to represent ‘true’ American values.” wrote Floros in the letter.
Clements opined, “Let me stop right there. Our cities were on fire… Kenosha, Wisconsin, was on fire. Parts of Minneapolis were burned to the ground. Courthouses were set on fire, police precincts were destroyed. I never got an email from the president condemning mob violence that was perpetrated by Antifa or Black Lives Matter, but we get this now. Hundreds of millions of dollars in damage and we are told time and time again that ‘riots are the voice of the unheard.’”
Clements added how he was “offended that this is the email you’re going to send to faculty when you have been largely silent while cities have burned–people have lost their businesses, homes.”
He went on to go through the rest of the NMSU president’s letter and explained that when he ran for U.S. Senate, he dealt with people who tried to push him around. He said, “I don’t have tolerance for bullies,” regarding a lawsuit one of his opponents filed against him, and he got dismissed with prejudice.
On Friday night, Twitter, President Trump’s once-preferred social media network, permanently suspended the 45th President’s account (@realDonaldTrump) and barred him from even posting on his official government account (@POTUS)—an unprecedented and dangerous assault on free speech.
If these tech tyrants can suppress or “cancel” the United States’ sitting President, they can do the same to all of us—and they are. The mainstream media, aided by Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, Google, and the hyenas screeching from their Ivory towers on Capitol Hill, erroneously claimed President Trump began an “insurrection” on the U.S. Capitol. Now, many unhinged and deeply disturbed members of Congress believe these leftist lies and conspiracy theories are grounds for another impeachment (coup) attempt. Trump called for no insurrection, but that didn’t matter to the left-wing media.
These cowards’ move is not because they are actually angered by the lives lost at the U.S. Capitol, but because their hatred for President Donald Trump is greater than their love for this great country. If they somehow manage to impeach the President, they would permanently bar him from ever holding elected office again.
These rabid partisan leftists and Republicans in Name Only (RINOs) will do whatever it takes to tear down the President, uphold their illegitimate and fraudulent election results, and try to silence forever true Americans who duly elected and re-elected the 45th President of the United States. Aided by the tech giants, the fake news media, and the rabid cesspool rotting in the bowels of the D.C. Swamp, the Left started a civil war. Their first action: silence us.
On my personal Twitter account, which used to have nearly 5,000 followers, it now sits around the 3,600 follower mark, with over 1,100 followers are either suspended or left for another platform. On the Piñon Post Facebook and Twitter accounts, the platforms purged an editorial we wrote, claiming we “violated” their “community standards” and tanked our distribution.
Note: the bloodthirsty terrorist Ayattolah Kamaine of Iran, anti-Semitic pastor Louis Farrakhan, white supremacist Richard Spencer, and Chinese Communist Party propagandists are still active on Twitter, yet the sitting U.S. President cannot post on the platform.
But the mass exodus from the social media platforms wasn’t enough for these deranged, power-hungry tyrants. They couldn’t bear to see us leave their oh-so-precious Twitter and Facebook for another platform (the free speech application, Parler). So, these anti-free speech oligarchs colluded to effectively cripple Parler by removing it from both the Apple App Store and the Google Play Store. But even that wasn’t enough. Amazon, the application’s server provider, pulled their hosting services, leaving Parler stranded and searching for a new host service. This will result in the social media platform being offline beginning late Sunday night until Monday afternoon.
The shameless assault on the American peoples’ right to free speech and expression, not to mention the President of the United States’ suppression, is dangerous and against everything our country was founded on. These social media titans can hide in their dark rooms and plot against honest, hard-working, and decent American patriots, but they will not be rewarded by me or by millions of others.
For these reasons, I announced over the weekend to all my remaining followers that I will be effectively leaving Twitter forever effective 11:59 p.m. tonight (Sunday) due to their down-right assault on basic free speech rights bestowed upon every citizen. If anyone would like to follow me on Parler, MeWe, Gab, or any other platform, I have linked them there, or you can find me on each platform @JohnForNM. I follow back. The Piñon Post will still be available on these platforms until we are permanently banned (which we expect to be sooner than later). I encourage each and every reader to leave Twitter and take their business elsewhere.
We must stand strong by our President and for our First Amendment. The Elitist Democrat Establishment and the spineless anti-Trump traitors in the Republican Party must be stopped, and the first step is by bleeding their allies in Big Tech dry by leaving these unpatriotic platforms full of double standards and censorship.
As I wrote on my Twitter today as one of my last posts on the platform, “If Davy Crockett lived today, he’d probably say, ‘You may all go to Hell, and I will go to Parler!’”
UPDATE: As of 2022, Elon Musk is purchasing Twitter and giving President Trump the option of being restored to the platform. Therefore, I will also join patriots like Marjorie Taylor Greene and others in getting back on the platform in light of apparent freedom of speech being restored to Twitter.
On Friday, in a tweet, far-left state Rep. Liz Thomson (D-Albuquerque), said that anyone who supports President Donald Trump after the January 6 protest at the Capitol be forever branded with a “scarlet S” for “seditionist.” The comment echoes another arguably unhinged op-ed in the Washington Post calling for similar actions to be taken against Senate Republicans who voted against the certification of votes from states with voter irregularities.
She added that no individual who supports President Trump should ever be given a position of “power or responsibility,” among other attacks.
“Here’s a thought. Anyone who continues to back the orange traitor after the terrorist attack, is forever branded with a scarlet S for seditionist. They should never be given any position of power or responsibility, nor should they ever be given a platform to spread their lies,” she wrote.
Here’s a thought. Anyone who continues to back the orange traitor after the terrorist attack, is forever branded with a scarlet S for seditionist. They should never be given any position of power or responsibility, nor should they ever be given a platform to spread their lies.
The comment comes after Thomson has been a constant critic (on Twitter) of Republicans, specifically pro-Trump patriots. She has on multiple occasions demeaned New Mexicans with differing opinions, many times resorting to ad-hominem attacks and personal jabs.
In December 2020, the Piñon Post reported that Thomson mocked New Mexicans who were concerned about taking the COVID-19 vaccine, writing, “Yikes. Some education is obviously in order. Unfortunately, all of the disinformation is rampant and strong.”
While American patriots marched from the White House to the U.S. Capitol to demand members of the U.S. House and U.S. Senate vote not to certify a certainly fraudulent election, those supposed “leaders,” including Vice President Mike Pence and traitorous members of Congress defied the will of the people and certified an illegitimate election in favor of Joe Biden.
All the information about how protesters got inside the U.S. Capitol and who they truly are is still a mystery. However, some Americans’ actions–good and bad–will forever remain in the history books as a monumental start to what will be a battle for our nation.
This was the point in history beyond reconciliation. Americans finally saw those in public office who are fighters for the Constitution and those who are sellouts to the Washington, D.C. swamp. Only 147 brave public officials in Congress stood up and rejected the stolen election, while the rest revealed their true colors.
This battle for our nation will be long, hard-fought, and be the start of many more clashes between crooks who look to cling to their power and those who get up every day to fight for Americans across our country who only want goodness and rightness for what is left of our republic.
As they have done for the past four years, the Radical Left–aided by the biased media machine and big tech oligarchs–will continue to try and discredit us, shame us, and tear us down for supporting our President. They will doxx us, they will try to break our families apart, get us fired from our jobs, spread rumors about us, and maybe most importantly, try to kill our spirit.
These attacks, aided by a spineless and hollow “Republican” establishment, will not cease. If anything, they will get louder, more emboldened, and increasingly violent. Many GOP “leaders” will cry out against us, but their self-centered manufactured outrage must not matter to us. The bloodshed of patriots will not matter to them as they defile and curdle the very identity of our nation.
But we, as New Mexicans and Americans, must never stop fighting for our values and against fraudulent elections that happen far too often in our state. The crooks have been taking over our government for decades, but if we do not fight back now, there won’t be a country left to save.
Take courage, my fellow patriots. The fight will be long and hard, but I will be fighting right alongside you every step of the way. The enemy’s voice may be loud, but ours is louder. Never, ever stop fighting for our Country. Do it for our children and our children’s children. Their future depends on our actions now.
What you can do:
Stand up and fight like hell, patriots.
Join a pro-Trump protest in your community, such as one that happens each Saturday in front of the New Mexico state Capitol in Santa Fe.
Connect with your local Republican Party, and if the leaders of that local chapter are RINOs (Republicans in Name Only), organize other patriots to attend meetings and vote the establishment out in numbers.
Despite Democrat leaders locking the public out of the Capitol for the upcoming Legislative Session, show up anyway in numbers and demand they hear your voices. Scream and shout as loud as your voices can carry you. Do not stop writing your legislators’ offices and inundating their inboxes about bills and amendments until they can’t take it anymore.
Ram down these legislators’ throats the demand for free and fair elections, without crooked operating systems tallying votes and late-night ballot dumps of fraudulent “absentee” ballots that have been sitting in closets and suitcases. Demand Voter ID, purging of illegitimate voters on the rolls, and ballot harvesting.
Consider runs for public office in your communities. Take out RINO politicians who vote with Democrats, such as many of the state representatives and senators who currently sit in the Santa Fe Capitol. Find those who did not stand up and fight and demand they tell you why. Why did they cower in fear while New Mexicans suffer? Look up their freedom scores on places like the Rio Grande Foundation and the American Conservative Union. If they don’t represent your values, mount primary challenges to them and boot them the hell out of office. The same thing goes for every other elected office across our state. If they don’t fight for us, then fire them.
If we organize in numbers to take back our government one step at a time, we will. Never stop resisting tyranny and never stop looking toward the horizon at what we can do if we work together and finally take out the trash that has been rotting in the Santa Fe and Washington, D.C. swamps. I am with you, my fellow patriots. We must all stick together and remember that there a lot more of us than there are of them. Stop the steal.
On Wednesday, American patriots from across the United States gathered in Washington, D.C. for the gigantic “Stop The Steal” rally hosted by multiple groups, spearheaded by Women for America First. Hundreds of thousands of Americans of all ages and backgrounds gathered at the Ellipse in President’s Park all the way past the Washington Monument and beyond.
The protest resulted in multiple individuals interrupting Congress’ certification of Joe Biden’s alleged fraudulent victory when some protesters stormed into the U.S. Congress, resulting in the evacuation of Vice President Pence, as well as all members of Congress. An unarmed woman, Ashli Babbitt, a 14-year Air Force veteran, was shot and died thereafter. Three others were killed, while there were 52 arrests in total.
Our editor, John Block, was at the Stop The Steal march. Here are some photographs he took at the event:
Democrats, including Gov. Michelle Lujan Grisham and the entirety of the U.S. Congressional delegation for New Mexico, including Rep. Herrell, decried the violence at the Capitol. “I am safe, but the violence at the Capitol is entirely unacceptable. I urge all those in Washington today to allow Congress to continue its business as the Constitution requires,” said Rep. Herrell in an initial statement.
In a later statement, Herrell wrote, “The violence at the U.S. Capitol today is reprehensible. I condemn anyone who would endanger our men and women in law enforcement like this in the strongest terms, and I am deeply grateful to the Capitol Police officers who kept me safe today.”
I am safe, but the violence at the Capitol is entirely unacceptable. I urge all those in Washington today to allow Congress to continue its business as the Constitution requires.
Gov. Lujan Grisham released stronger language, claiming those who breached the U.S. Capitol were “domestic terrorists.” She wrote, “I am sickened by what is occurring at the U.S. Capitol. It is nothing less than domestic terrorism, enacted in an effort to overturn a free and fair election.”

Fraud has been proven in the U.S. election, and countless irregularities have been sighted across the board. Evidence of election fraud can be found here.
The U.S. House was only allowed to vote on two motions certifying electors for the states of Arizona and Pennsylvania. On these allowed votes, Rep. Herrell was the only member of the New Mexico delegation to vote against both measures.
Here is Herrell’s speech on the Pennsylvania electors:
When Vice President Pence asked for objections to the certifications of New Mexico’s electors, no objections were seen, including from Rep. Yvette Herrell.
In a subsequent statement on Facebook, Herrell wrote the following:
Late last night, I kept my promise to object to the certification of the Electoral College tallies from the two states for which votes were permitted: Arizona and Pennsylvania. No other objections for any other state, including New Mexico, had the required backing of at least one U.S. Senator that would have allowed a vote on the House floor.
The unconstitutional election changes in numerous states disenfranchised my constituents in New Mexico. I hope that by joining so many of my House colleagues in objecting we can shed light on the problems with the 2020 election and move towards solutions that restore integrity and confidence to our electoral system.
As President Trump said this morning, there will be an orderly transition to the new administration on January 20th. I will continue to work on behalf of the people of New Mexico’s Second District to support our shared values of limited government, free markets, and Constitutional rights.
There was a large demonstration at the New Mexico Capitol, with over 300 attendees rallying to stop the steal in Santa Fe. KRQE Newsreported that the state Capitol was evacuated amidst the pro-Trump protests, however, it was peaceful.
On Monday through Wednesday, New Mexico patriots will be rallying in support of President Donald J. Trump at the Roundhouse in Santa Fe, aligning with nationwide protests against the certification of former Vice President Joe Biden’s alleged illegitimate presidential victory.
According to posts about the event, patriots will be meeting at Placitas Exit 242 in Bernalillo at 10:00 a.m. on January 6th and riding into Santa Fe to support the 45th President.
The protests in Santa Fe will occur Monday through Wednesday at 12:00 noon, with people from all across the state coming up to rally for Trump.
On January 6th, members of Congress will vote on the certification of the election results despite credible allegations and evidence of widespread Democrat fraud in multiple battleground states, including New Mexico. The state’s newly sworn-in Republican Congresswoman Yvette Herrell from the Second District will object to the certification of the vote.
