Teachers unions pleased as MLG punishes educators with new mandates

On Tuesday, scandal-ridden alleged serial groper Gov. Michelle Lujan Grisham announced new harsh mandates, including mask mandates indoors for all people regardless of vaccination status, forced vaccination for medical workers, and requiring educators to show proof of a negative virus test. She claimed these were due to a new strain of the virus called the“Delta variant.”

According to the Governor’s press release, “The state also issued a requirement that all workers at private, public and charter schools in New Mexico either be vaccinated against COVID-19 or otherwise submit to COVID-19 testing on a weekly basis. This policy aligns with the state’s requirement for all state government personnel.” 

While the strict mandates will harm educators, who already have been subjected to extreme testing and masking standards, educators (including apparently private institutions who are not under the mandates of the New Mexico Public Education Department) will further be punished.

But New Mexico teachers unions, which purport to care about educators in the Land of Enchantment, apparently do not care about the strenuous requirements implemented by the Governor. On the contrary, the National Education Association New Mexico (NEA-NM) and the American Federation of Teachers New Mexico (AFT-NM) sent out statements in support of the mandates.

AFT-NM wrote the following: 

“Universal masking requirements for students, staff, and visitors have been proactively negotiated at the local level in many school districts across New Mexico, so standardizing this common-sense, science-based mitigation effort represents another way to best help keep students and educators safe and our doors open for learning. 

“We recognize universal masking and increased surveillance testing for the unvaccinated may be onerous for some educators and students, but we must view these procedures and precautions through the lenses of science and public safety, rather than our own personal comfort. 

“Educators have been on the front lines throughout this pandemic, and our commitment and obligation to advocate and work for safe and in-person learning must not waiver. The example we set moving forward will be seen by our students and families, and New Mexico’s educators must continue to be the role models our students, families, and communities know us to be.”

NEA-NM shared a link from the Albuquerque Journal and claimed the edict for educators “matches a policy imposed for state employees earlier this month.”

Despite claiming to care about children and teachers, the governor’s mandates have forced many parents to pull their children out of the public school system and made many teachers’ lives even harder, with steps to encroach on teachers’ preferences not to take the vaccine.

MLG forcing New Mexicans to wear masks indoors regardless of vaccination status

On Tuesday, Gov. Michelle Lujan Grisham announced she is reinstating her previous mandate forcing New Mexicans to wear masks indoors, this time regardless of vaccination status. 

According to a press release from Gov. Lujan Grisham’s office, she will “announce that the state of New Mexico will temporarily re-implement a statewide requirement that facemasks be worn in all public indoor spaces, with only limited exceptions, and regardless of vaccination status, to stem the state’s rising tide of COVID-19 infections and hospitalizations.” 

The reasoning given by the Governor is as follows:

The spread of COVID-19 in New Mexico has increased dramatically in recent weeks, driven by the highly infectious “Delta” variant and primarily unvaccinated populations. State modeling projects that New Mexico will reach 1,000 new daily cases of COVID-19 by the end of August, and as many as 1,000 new daily cases in southeastern New Mexico alone in the weeks after that.

Dan Boyd of the Albuquerque Journal wrote, “New vaccination requirement for workers in hospitals and congregate care settings also on tap.” The Governor’s press release noted,“Under a separate public health order issued by Secretary Scrase, all workers in New Mexico hospitals and congregate care facilities are required to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19, with only limited exceptions.” Few exceptions are allowed. According to a release from the Governor’s office: 

Under a public health order issued by Acting Health Secretary David R. Scrase, M.D., the re-implemented mask requirement applies to all individuals aged 2 and older in all indoor public settings — except when eating or drinking.

Masks will be required to everyone in school buildings regardless of vaccination status, which aligns with the most recent guidance from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. The Public Education Department has been in the process of updating its toolkit for schools and district personnel.

The indoor mask requirement will be effective Friday, Aug. 20. It will remain in effect until at least September 15. The governor, acting upon the counsel and analysis of the state Medical Advisory Team and state health officials, may decide to extend or lift the requirement as necessary.

Businesses, houses of worship and other entities may enact stricter requirements at their discretion.

MLG now harvesting New Mexicans’ sexual orientation info

Despite Democrats’ failure to pass a bill in the 2021 Legislative Session to harvest New Mexicans’ sexual orientation data through state agencies, scandal-ridden alleged serial groper Gov. Michelle Lujan Grisham has signed an executive order unilaterally mandating the State to harvest this private data from citizens.

The Governor is trying to frame the new action as meant to “improve the provisions of service to a traditionally underserved population,” but during the committee process, the analogous bill, sponsored by state Sen. Carrie Hamblen, was met with backlash from community members concerned over the government getting this sensitive data and being able to use it for nefarious purposes.

“The effect of the order will be to enhance the capacity and ability of state agencies to address health disparities and identify and remove barriers to effective care for non-conforming and traditionally undeserved individuals, as well as enhance services and outreach to those groups of people,” claimed the Governor’s office in a press release.

“If we want to solve a problem, we first need information about what’s causing it,” said Lujan Grisham. “If we are to address inequities that LGBTQ+ New Mexicans experience in their interactions with state government, we must first have the information about where those breakdowns are occurring. This voluntary mechanism for demographic analysis is a tool the state of New Mexico can and will use to improve its service to traditionally underserved New Mexicans. I’m proud to have the chance to initiate that process.”

“I’m grateful this executive order will put into place the representation that is overdue and to start compiling necessary data that will be used to determine resources and services that are desperately needed and deserved,” claimed Hamblen.

Despite community members concerns over the harvesting of this data and the keeping of this database, the Governor’s Office claims, “Under the order, information that is voluntarily provided about sexual orientation and gender identity may only be used for demographic analysis, coordination of care, quality improvement of government services, conducting research and guiding policy and funding decisions. Protections about individual identification are likewise written into the order, as well.” 

Time will tell if this new system will create more problems than answers.

Torrance County Commission passes resolution protecting local school boards from NMPED

On Friday, the Torrance County Commission passed a resolution to protect the elected Torrance County municipal school district boards of education by affirming state statute that grants them “certain powers and duties which include developing educational policies for school districts, overseeing budgeting and procurement, and adopting rules pertaining to the administration of all powers and duties of the Torrance County municipal school boards” without threats from Gov. Michelle Lujan Grisham’s New Mexico Public Education Department (NMPED).

The action comes after duly elected local school boards, including Floyd Municipal Schools in Roosevelt County, have been under fierce attack by the Governor, who has attempted to suspend them and install her hand-selected NMPED bureaucrats in their stead. 

Floyd Municipal School Board rejected the Governor’s mandates instituting forcible masking of children, instituting segregation based on vaccination status, and instituting a surveillance state where students must show proof of vaccination at all times. Lujan Grisham “suspended” the Floyd School Board members after the duly elected body opposed her edicts.  

The Commission noted, that “dictates by the New Mexico Public Education Department to Torrance County municipal school boards threatening punitive actions such as adverse licensure decisions against school district personnel, suspension of Torrance County municipal school board governance, and other enforcement measures, and regarding operations and policy decisions without legislative approval or going through the proper rule-making process and that do not include input from the local community are antithetical to the concepts of local control, federalism, and the rule of law and violate state statute, the New Mexico Administrative Code, and the Constitution of the State of New Mexico.”

Rep. Stefani Lord (R-Bernalillo, Sandoval, and Santa Fe) wrote on Facebook that the Commission “set aside money for legal defense.” Lord added, “the testimony from the people, especially the kids, was compelling.”

State Sen. David Gallegos (R-Eddy and Lea) was also in attendance for the event, where he spoke about the importance of local control. 

The County Commission’s resolution noted that the “Torrance County municipal school district boards of education be permitted to adopt rules and policies pertaining to the administration of all powers and duties of the Torrance County municipal school boards, which include the responsibility to identify community and school district needs and opinions, and to develop short and long term strategies for the educational success, health, safety, and welfare of students and staff.” 

All three commissioners, LeRoy Candelaria, Kevin McCall, and Ryan Schwebach signed onto the resolution.  

Today at the county commission special session, they amended and passed a resolution to protect the ELECTED school board, allowing them to make decisions that are best for their District without bullying and threats from PED or the Governor.

Seventh Republican, pro-life leader Ethel Maharg, running for governor

On Saturday, pro-life leader Ethel Maharg announced that she is seeking the Republican nomination for governor of New Mexico, making her the seventh GOP contender for the coveted post to take out scandal-ridden alleged serial groper incumbent Democrat Gov. Michelle Lujan Grisham. 

Maharg announced her run at New Beginnings Church of God in Albuquerque, with many in attendance. Maharg, the former three-term mayor of Cuba, New Mexico touted her experience and how during her time running the municipality, she “brought economic development to the very economically distressed part of our state. What I left is still standing today, continuing to provide economic stability to the area. We brought national attention to the state with an event that showcased the White House Christmas tree. This event brought in double the gross receipts revenue for that quarter. When I left office, I left it with 1.9 million in the bank.” 

Maharg said, “I am running for governor to breathe life into New Mexico by restoring the foundation, for it is the foundation, our values, and our Constitution, that made our country the envy of the world.” 

She is a supporter of law enforcement, saying, “I am pro-law enforcement. Without respect for the law-no society can exist. I will never defund the police.”

In 2018, Maharg coordinated the Convoy of Hope for Albuquerque, an event that brought over a million dollars’ worth of goods and services to area residents. She also worked with the Hispanic Action Network to distribute 350,000 voter guides throughout the state in an effort to help with the last governor’s race in 2018. For five years, she worked for the pro-life pregnancy center Care Net and currently serves as the executive director of the Right to Life Committee of New Mexico.

“I will continue to work hard in bringing a Godly administration to serve my fellow New Mexicans,” she said.

MLG whines about rising NM crime despite signing anti-police bills, backing ‘defund the police’ groups

On Friday, KOB 4’s Tessa Mentus had an interview with scandal-ridden alleged serial groper Gov. Michelle Lujan Grisham, where the Governor complained about crime in New Mexico, especially in Albuquerque. She said the upcoming legislative session in 2022 will focus on crime.

“You want the safest community – that should be the standard in New Mexico. And in addition, Albuquerque and too many other communities in New Mexico are just not safe.”

She said to lawmakers regarding crime, “If you want a priority, make it a priority. And I expect all policymakers to be more engaged in public safety issues statewide. It’s not Albuquerque or… it’s not Santa Fe or…. We got to all do it together.” 

She added, “I’m open to any kind of legislative effort that makes a difference in the quality of lives (sic) for New Mexicans, and if that means making us safer, so be it.”

Mentus noted, “But we have seen legislative efforts before at our Roundhouse time and time again, and they go nowhere. Public safety bills get introduced, most of them by Republican lawmakers representing the metro, and they barely make it out of committee. Forget ever seeing them make it to the Governor’s desk.” 

When asking how this would be different to the Governor, in a commanding manner, the Governor said, “If I set that tone that this is what I expect, I get it.”

Lujan Grisham added, “I’ve got the votes, and I’ve got bipartisan support.” 

But if Lujan Grisham was focused on eliminating crime, she would not have been a staunch supporter of many anti-police bills proposed last legislative session, including H.B. 4, which put targets on peace officers’ backs by stripping them of qualified immunity and opening police departments and localities up to frivolous lawsuits — bankrupting them.

H.B. 4’s sponsors, Speaker Brain Egolf (D-Santa Fe) and state Rep. Georgene Louis (D-Bernalillo), just so happen to be “civil rights” attorneys who would directly profit off of their legislative proposals. Lujan Grisham signed the anti-police, anti-public safety bill anyway. 

Lujan Grisham’s allies in the Legislature, such as state Sen. Linda Lopez (D-Bernalillo), sponsored the most extreme anti-police bills in the nation, including S.B. 227, which would have implemented the “strongest” anti-police “use of force” standard in the nation.

Now, Lujan Grisham, amid record-breaking homicide rates in Albuquerque and some New Mexico streets looking like warzones, is trying to save face despite her support for Black Lives Matter protesters who want to defund the police. 

And if public safety was such a priority for Lujan Grisham, she would call a special session like she did to implement recreational marijuana in New Mexico.

‘The fourth floor’s revolving door’: Latest cabinet official jumps ship from MLG’s regime

On Tuesday, Gov. Michelle Lujan Grisham announced yet another departure from her ever-changing administration, full of scandal and controversy. This time, the Children, Youth, and Families Department (CYFD) secretary Brian Blalock announced he was jumping ship from the Lujan Grisham regime to “support his wife’s pursuit of new work opportunities in California.” 

In his place, Lujan Grisham appointed former associate justice to the New Mexico Supreme Court Barbara J. Vigil to be acting secretary.

“We are lucky to have her, and I’m very grateful to her for her willingness to step back into the arena and take on a challenging opportunity for the benefit of children and families of New Mexico,” said Lujan Grisham.

Republican House Leader responded to the latest departure, writing, “In order for any management system to work, you need consistency and the only thing consistent about [Gov. Lujan Grisham]’s management is that she is constantly replacing staff. I sure hope that the many new cabinet secretaries are able to hold steadfast and not get sucked into the fourth floor’s revolving door.”

Blalock is known for implementing the Gov. Lujan Grisham regime’s data deletion policy, where public records were deleted from the communication application “Signal.” 

Once two officials at CYFD tried to bring the policy’s security and transparency concerns to the attention of Blalock, they were fired, in what they contend was retaliation.

Now, it is clear that a similar public records deletion policy exists across the administration, with the “Microsoft Teams” application auto-deleting public documents, in direct violation of the Inspection of Public Records Act (IPRA).

Blalock’s sudden departure comes after other cabinet secretaries and staffers have left abruptly, including former staffer to Lujan Grisham who allegedly tried to silence the governor’s sexual accuser Dominic Gabello.

Department of Workforce Solutions (DWS) Secretary Bill McCamley quit after revelations that DWS was missing $250 million due to “fraudulent claims and human error”

In July, the Governor’s Department of Health and Department of Information Technology (DIT) secretaries left following multiple scandals, including the data deletion issue overseen ad implemented by DIT.

MLG applauds UNM for forcing vaccinations on all faculty, staff, and students

On Friday, scandal-ridden alleged serial groper Gov. Michelle Lujan Grisham took to Twitter to applaud the University of New Mexico (UNM) for forcing all personnel and staff to take the COVID-19 jab, despite the inoculation not being approved by the Food and Drug Administration and multiple cases of adverse effects from taking it.

UNM’s president Garnett S. Stokes wrote, “Today, UNM formally put into place a requirement for all faculty, staff, and students to be fully vaccinated for COVID as soon as possible, but no later than September 30.”

The only exceptions allowed are religious and disability exemptions, otherwise, students, faculty, and staff are forced to take the jab or be subjected to extreme testing or possibly even termination or expulsion.

Lujan Grisham commended UNM on social media, writing, “I commend @UNM for taking appropriate measures to keep students, faculty, and the communities that surround the university safe. It’s up to all of us to do what’s right and to get vaccinated. Visit http://VaccineNM.org today.”

The Governor’s comments come shortly after her New Mexico Department of Education “suspended” a local school board in Floyd, New Mexico for passing a resolution against the Lujan Grisham school mask mandates. 

New Mexico State University is forcing all of its employees to take the COVID-19 vaccine.

It is unclear New Mexico Highlands University, Eastern New Mexico University, Western New Mexico University, or community colleges in the state will be forcibly masking or putting vaccine requirements on students and school personnel.

MLG’s NMPED ‘suspends’ Floyd school board after it bucked her mask, vaxx mandates

On Thursday, the Floyd Municipal School Board was removed in its entirety by disgraced Gov. Michelle Lujan Grisham’s New Mexico Public Education Department (NMPED). The School Board voted on Monday to reaffirm its previous decision to allow students and parents to choose whether to wear masks or whether to adhere to extreme social distancing requirements.

KOB 4 reports, “The five-member Floyd school board was suspended Wednesday after refusing to comply with the New Mexico Public Education Department’s guidelines on masks” and virus protocols.

All of the board members, Leon Nall, Jeff Essary, Vicki Banister, Charlsea Lee, and Ryan Bollema, have been suspended. However, since they contend that the NMPED does not have the authority to do such a thing that the ruling is invalid. 

KOB also noted that Damon Terry, who previously was put on administrative leave by the School Board, was reinstated as superintendent by NMPED. 

““The PED takes its responsibility to ensure a safe and healthy environment for all staff and students incredibly seriously. We cannot put students, staff and their families at unnecessary risk as we continue the fight against the Delta variant. By ignoring these basic safety measures, the board impairs the ability of the district to offer safe and uninterrupted in-person learning opportunities,” Stewart said in the suspension memo.

The Governor previously claimed it was time to make “any number of tough decisions ” and that “everything is on the table.”

Alleged serial groper MLG noticeably quiet as Andrew Cuomo exposed as sexual predator

On Tuesday, the New York Attorney General Letitia James of the Working Families Party announced that independent investigators found that Democrat New York Gov. Andrew Cuomo violated multiple state and federal laws, as well as sexually harassed 11 women.

“The investigation found that Governor Cuomo’s sexual harassment of multiple women and his and the Executive Chamber’s retaliation against a former employee for coming forward with her claims of sexual harassment violated multiple state and federal laws, including Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, the New York State Human Rights Law, and 42 U.S. Code § 1983, in addition to the Executive Chamber’s own equal employment policies,” the Attorney General’s Office announced in a press release. 

“This is a sad day for New York because independent investigators have concluded that Governor Cuomo sexually harassed multiple women and, in doing so, broke the law,” said Attorney General James. “I am grateful to all the women who came forward to tell their stories in painstaking detail, enabling investigators to get to the truth. No man — no matter how powerful — can be allowed to harass women or violate our human rights laws, period.”

Previously, New Mexico Gov. Michelle Lujan Grisham blasted Cuomo’s then-alleged sexual misconduct, saying to the Washington Post in March 2021, “I’m, frankly, in that group of elected leaders, that you believe the individual, you give real credit and credibility there, if you don’t, we are revictimizing brave men and women who come forward.” 

“I think that it’s troubling enough that that will be a significant part of the discussion But, it’s premature for me, to determine what governors, at this point, when you have an independent, transparent investigation occurring,” she said. “I don’t want to jump ahead…But, we will have a very serious conversation about what we ought to do, and what standard we expect all elected leaders, right, to adhere to and stand by.”

But the very next month in April 2021, revelations came to the fore showing Lujan Grisham had paid off an ex-staffer, James Hallinan, at least $62,500 after he accused her of pouring water over his crotch area and then grabbing his penis.

The news of Lujan Grisham’s alleged sexual misconduct, which appears to now have been confirmed via the settlement, led to the sudden resignation of a staffer who tried to quiet the alleged victim. Lujan Grisham claims the hush money payment was because she didn’t want to handle it during the pandemic.

In 2018, before Lujan Grisham became governor, another man named Eddie Dehart came forward accusing the Governor of similar conduct at a 2005 party, which led to the crumbling of Dehart’s relationship. 

“In 2005, we have a party at my girlfriend’s house. It was an artisan party to showcase some art in Santa Fe and help the artists out to sell their products…During the game, it was Michelle’s shot. And she walked around the pool table and walked by me. When she walked by me she grabbed my crotch,” Dehart said in the video. He said that Lujan Grisham exclaimed to his girlfriend that “you have a man here.”

Lujan Grisham is noticeably silent amid the confirmation that Gov. Andrew Cuomo is a confirmed sexual predator, which speaks volumes as just a few months ago, she was sternly condemning his then-alleged actions. 

The New Mexico Governor, despite the multiple men who have come forward, is running for reelection. Lujan Grisham chairs the “Democratic Governors Association.”

Ironically, Lujan Grisham’s silence comes after her New Mexico House majority leader, Rep. Sheryl Williams Stapleton resigned in disgrace admid revelations of apparent racketeering, money laundering, and kickbacks. Before Williams Stapleton resigned, Lujan Grisham said, “I will say that public confidence in government is seriously damaged by even the appearance of impropriety, or illegal activity, which is why public officials must always hold themselves to the highest possible standard of behavior. New Mexicans expect and deserve elected officials who, regardless of party, will put the people before themselves.”
