Ex-MLG aide claims groping by senator but was mum on MLG sex assault settlements

On Tuesday, a supposed accuser, Marianna Anaya, came forward claiming Sen. Daniel Ivey-Soto in 2015 “groped and pinched” her buttocks while at the Drury Plaza Hotel, which Ivey-Soto denies. Anaya is a former staffer of then-U.S. Rep. Michelle Lujan Grisham (D-NM-01).

Anaya is a far-left activist who supported now-Gov. Lujan Grisham’s failed pro-voter fraud bill, S.B. 8 and S.B. 144, that would have instituted widespread voter suppression and election corruption, is now apparently bringing forth the claim after she didn’t get what she wanted — stolen New Mexico elections.

“You deliberately prevented the bill from receiving a timely hearing, knowing that such delays were an effective death sentence for any piece of important legislation during a short session,” Anaya claimed.

Anaya further claimed that at a recent dinner before the voting bill was considered, Ivey-Soto became “aggressive,” while at dinner where she said she confronted him over said accusations. She claims he “put the breaks” on the bill Senate Rules Committee, which he chairs, because of her.

She wrote, “The way that the bill was slow-pedaled by Sen. Ivey-Soto after this confrontation in his capacity as Rules chair had the indicia of retaliation.”

Anaya hired the same lawyer, Levi Monagle, who participated in the slander of former state Rep. Carl Trujillo (D-Santa Fe), which led to Trujillo losing his seat in 2018. Trujillo’s case happened in tandem with Planned Parenthood lobbyist Juliana Koob, whose dark money organization she represents spread the false accusations against Trujillo.

The attack on Sen. Ivey-Soto, whether true or not, comes at a strangely opportunistic time, where he and Senate Pro-Tem Mimi Stewart (D-Bernalillo) have had their squabbles, even during the 2022 Legislative Session, where she repeatedly clapped back at him regarding him allowing public testimony on the elections bill while in his committee.

Ivey-Soto said in response to the allegation, “I don’t know what happened. I don’t know what the movement was. But I did not reach down and grab her buttocks. I did not reach over and grab any part of her. But I’m not discounting that she has a recollection of that, and that’s why I said I was horrified.” Anaya is calling for Ivey-Soto’s resignation.

It should further be noted that Anaya, being a former staffer of Michelle Lujan Grisham, has not spoken out about the disgraced Governor who paid off $150,000 to a former staffer after he claims Lujan Grisham groped his crotch. Another man has also come forward accusing the chief executive of a similar groping incident.

But after Anaya’s claim, allis of alleged groper Lujan Grisham descended upon Twitter, writing without evidence, “I see you. I believe you. #nmleg needs to investigate this NOW,” as a far-left dark money organization director for “OLÉ” wrote. It just so happens most of her supposed “support” for her claim comes from those who also supported the failed pro-voter fraud legislation.

Interestingly, a well-organized group of dark money organizations that lobbied for the pro-voter fraud bill claimed they believed Anaya, writing, “We hold our elected officials to a high standard.” All of these groups were mum on Lujan Grisham’s sexual assault settlements, as well as corruption by former Democrat House Majority Leader Sheryl Williams-Stapleton (D-Bernalillo), who resigned in disgrace.

PED adopts MLG’s racist CRT standards, demands schools follow or be ‘held accountable’

On Monday, it was reported that Gov. Michelle Lujan Grisham’s New Mexico Public Education Department (PED) has adopted its racist new Critical Race Theory (CRT) social studies standards, which include anti-Hispanic hate, the “LGBTQI+” agenda, among other radical agendas.

The Governor’s newly appointed PED Secretary Kurt Steinhaus said the school districts must adopt the divisive social studies measures.

“The curriculum that’s being implemented in a school district is a reflection of the standards and the beliefs of that community, as communicated from the school board,” Steinhaus said, according to the Las Cruces Sun-News.

The Sun-News writes, “Steinhaus said that the PED will be looking at each district’s educational plans to ensure they intend to follow the new curriculum, and the PED will be checking in to make sure each district is held accountable to those plans.”

Under the new instructions, everything in the classroom will be mandated to follow the PED’s guidelines, which could include textbooks, “videos, movies, websites, apps and other educational sources. All will be under review in the coming months,” the Sun-News added, including:

Each school district and state charter is required to submit an educational plan and budget to the PED annually, which is then approved or returned with questions. Although the districts may not have to choose from the selected list of materials, the materials must have culturally relevant materials and align with the Martinez-Yazzie lawsuit from 2018 that found a disparity in education,  including children of color, Native Americans, English-language learners and students with disabilities.

Districts are “are obligated to report to us actually how they use their instructional materials funding,” Deputy Secretary Gwen Perea Warniment said. “That is in state statute, so we do collect that information. And in fact, we look for cultural relevance in their instructional materials that has also been updated. So in terms of the lawsuit, instructional materials and access to instructional materials is something that we do take very seriously.”

With no wiggle room for school districts to adopt standards that do not include Critical Race Theory, anti-police, and anti-Hispanic hate, it is unclear what the school boards will do. If school boards bind together and all buck the PED’s standards in unison, Lujan Grisham’s PED — if she is still in charge by the time of implementation — will have a better shot of not being replaced by the PED.

Previously, the Floyd school board did not follow Lujan Grisham’s edict mandating the masking of children at school, which resulted in the Governor forcibly removing the duly elected officials and installing state rule in the District. Such overreaching measures can be avoided if as many New Mexico school boards as possible form a pact against the tyrannical mandates.

During the comment period on the changes, over 3,000 pages of comments, most opposing, were submitted to the Public Education Department. Hundreds of New Mexicans, including Piñon Post editor John Block, testified against the racist social studies updates.

Maggie Toulouse Oliver triggered after Dems’ pro-voter fraud bill dies

Shortly after the Democrats failed to ram through their extreme pro-voter fraud bill, S.B. 144, championed by scandal-ridden alleged serial groper Gov. Michelle Lujan Grisham and far-left Secretary of State Maggie Toulouse Oliver, leftists freaked out. But probably the most triggered reaction to that Democrat failure was that of Toulouse Oliver.

On Thursday, Toulouse Oliver sent a frustrated-sounding email, writing, “I am so tired of the obstructionism of our democracy. I cannot sugarcoat any of this: federal voting rights legislation has stalled with the threat of a filibuster. Today, my bill to expand voting rights legislation stalled with the New Mexico GOP obstruction.”

The bill she supported included unsecured ballot drop boxes, widespread ballot harvesting, automatic voter registration, and allowing felons to vote. But Toulouse Oliver insists her failed bill would “increase voter participation” — although the supposed “voters” she is talking about may be dead or not legitimately supposed to be on the voter rolls.

“I’m trying to increase voter participation and ballot access because New Mexico should be a leader on voting rights. Instead, the NM GOP killed this bill, without any debate, due to a procedural rule. Why are they so afraid of more people voting?”

In both the House and the Senate, Toulouse Oliver’s legislation got to debate, but she claims it was not allowed: another lie.

She went on to ask for campaign donations to “remain the leader of democracy,” whatever that was supposed to mean.

Other allies of the Secretary of State erroneously claimed Sen. William “Bill” Sharer’s (R-San Juan) filibuster of her radical was “white supremacy.”

“Filibuster is a monument to white supremacy. It’s a relic from the Jim Crow era,” Justin Allen, a radical supporter of the bill, claimed. “Voting rights is the issue of this legislation. Fighting it is the legacy of segregation.”

Now, as the Democrats head toward the 2022 elections with a massive record of failure during this legislative session, they are still beating the “voting rights” drum, that not only Republicans, but Democrats rejected.

In the House of Representatives, multiple Democrats rejected the leftists’ pro-voter fraud bill. Those representatives included Reps. Ambrose Castellano (D-Las Vegas), Harry Garcia (D-Grants), Patricia Lundstrom (D-Gallup), Willie Madrid (D-Chapparal), Candie Sweetser (D-Deming), and Phelps Anderson (DTS-Roswell). Are these Democrat and independent representatives also “white supremacists” and fighting for a “legacy of segregation,” as far-left radicals claim?

GOP successfully kills MLG’s pro-election fraud bill by running out the clock

On Thursday, far-left Democrats rammed through S.B. 144, a far-left bill amended in the dead of night earlier this week to put 165 pages of radical pro-voter fraud language to the formerly two-page bill. The bill included ballot harvesting, unsecured ballot drop boxes for ballot stuffing, automatic voter registration, among other measures to make New Mexico elections less secure.

The chamber abruptly cut off debate after three hours, with multiple Democrats voting against the bill, resulting in a tighter 39-30 vote in the chamber.

State Sen. Bill Sharer (R-San Juan) filibustered for hours, talking about everything from trees to volcanic movement, taxation, water, and camaraderie in the Senate.

“Just let them play. They will figure out how to win the game. Yep, there [have] to be rules, but we just can’t let them do stuff,” Sharer said.

“I really love you,” state Sen. Michael Padilla (D-Bernalillo) said in the final minutes of the filibuster, hugging the San Juan County senator.

“Mr. President, if the only tool I have is a hammer, everything I have looks like a nail,” Sen. Sharer said regarding using his tools of the filibuster to stop the Democrats’ radical election fraud bill.

Sharer successfully stopped the ramming through of S.B. 144 — another major defeat for far-left scandal-ridden alleged serial groper Gov. Michelle Lujan Grisham, whose legislative agenda has repeatedly failed. Everything from S.B. 14, a gas tax on the poor, to H.B. 9, a radical anti-gun bill, and hydrogen power, has failed.

Naturally, following the Democrats’ gigantic partisan defeat, leftists lost their minds on social media, with leftists claiming they would“report” GOP tweets about alleged“election misinformation.”

New ad rips Lujan Grisham for ‘playing politics with public safety’

On Monday, the group State Solutions released an advertisement railing against scandal-ridden alleged serial groper Gov. Michelle Lujan Grisham for her decades-long failed record on public safety as New Mexico has become increasingly more deadly.

The transcript of the video reads as follows:

New Mexico faces a crime crisis.

Violent crime surging.

Record homicides.

Illegal drugs.

But Michelle Lujan Grisham has a long record of working against law enforcement.

As County Commissioner, she denied funding for extra deputies.

As Governor, she stripped away legal protections for police.

Even vetoed higher payouts to families of officers killed in the line of duty.

Tell Governor Lujan Grisham: stop playing politics with public safety.

“As the state’s crime crisis continues to grow, families know Michelle Lujan Grisham refused to fight for the safety of New Mexicans her entire career,” said spokesman Will Reinert. “At every point in Lujan Grisham’s career she’s failed to provide police with proper support to fight back against rises in crime, and no amount of false promises heading into an election will alter her dangerous record.”

The group said it will be spending six figures on the ad buy in the Albuquerque media market.

Lujan Grisham faces opposition from many GOP contenders who hope to oust her in November. Later this month, Republicans will shoes who will make it on the June 7 primary election ballot to face the embattled governor in the general election.

Legislative update: Dems trying to ram through pro-election fraud bill through backdoor

On Friday, it was revealed that Speaker Brian Egolf (D-Santa Fe) and the radical House Democrats, desperate to push scandal-ridden alleged serial groper Gov. Michelle Lujan Grisham’s agenda cross the finish line, will be attempting to amend S.B. 144, a previously two-page bill that passed the senate regarding the intimidation of election workers.

The amendments would install radical pro-election fraud language contained in S.B. 8 to S.B. 144 despite the purpose and title of the bill being different than the proposed amendments — a violation of House rules. The amendments would be worse than the provisions in S.B. 8. Despite S.B. 8’s provisions being added to S.B. 144, S.B. 8 will be heard on the Senate floor at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. It is the first agenda item. Contact key senators to stop S.B. 8 before the vote:

  • Senator George Munoz: george.munoz@nmlegis.gov (505) 986-4371
  • Senator Pete Campos: pete.campos@nmlegis.gov (505) 986-4311
  • Senator Cervantes joseph.cervantes@nmlegis.gov , (505) 986-4861
  • Senator Duhigg: katy.duhigg@nmlegis.gov, (505) 986-4726
  • Senator McKenna: brenda.mckenna@nmlegis.gov (505) 986-4301
  • Senator Candelaria: (505) 986-4380, jacob.candelaria@nmlegis.gov
  • Senator Pope: harold.popejr@nmlegis.gov, (505) 986-4365
  • Senator Tallman: bill.tallman@nmlegis.gov, (505) 986-4373
  • Senator Shendo: benny.shendo@nmlegis.gov, (505) 986-4310
  • Senator Hickey: martin.hickey@nmlegis.gov, (505) 986-4513

According to the title page of the amendments, it includes“REPEALING AND REPLACING THE REGISTRATION AT VOTING LOCATION PRIOR TO VOTING PROVISIONS; PROVIDING THAT INMATES ARE ELIGIBLE TO VOTE AND REGISTER TO VOTE UPON RELEASE AND CONFORMING A PROVISION RELATING TO RESTORATION OF RIGHTS; REVISING PROVISIONS RELATING TO MONITORED SECURED CONTAINERS; CLARIFYING PROCEDURES FOR THE ACCEPTANCE OF VOTED MAILED BALLOTS; ENACTING THE NATIVE AMERICAN VOTING RIGHTS ACT TO PROTECT POLLING PLACE ACCESS AND ADDRESS OTHER ELECTION ISSUES INVOLVING VOTERS ON INDIAN NATION, TRIBAL AND PUEBLO LAND; MAKING TECHNICAL AND CONFORMING CHANGES; AMENDING, REPEALING AND ENACTING SECTIONS OF THE NMSA 1978.”

One major change spotted is that the amendment would take away a perjury charge for knowingly submitting a false ballot This language was stricken: “then complete the form on the reverse of the official mailing envelope [which shall include a statement by the voter under penalty of perjury that the facts stated in the form are true and the voter’s name, registration address and year of birth] under the privacy flap.”

Multiple George Soros-funded out-of-state groups are supporting this radical bill, including the far-left “Center for Civic Policy,” which successfully helped the Legislature ram through partisan legislative and congressional maps to heavily favor Democrats.

The bill explicitly breaks House Rule 11-4, which reads as follows:

The subject of every bill shall be clearly expressed in its title, and no bill embracing more than one subject shall be passed, except general appropriation bills and bills for the codification or revision of the laws. General appropriation bills shall embrace nothing but appropriations for the expense of the executive, legislative and judiciary departments, interest, sinking fund, payment of the public debt, public schools and other expenses required by existing laws. All other appropriations shall be made by separate bills.

S.B. 144 was originally scheduled to be heard in the House Judiciary Committee, but since the floor session went well past 6:00 a.m. on Saturday morning, the revised House schedule shows the Judiciary Committee is no longer meeting, although the Piñon Post remains on high alert for any movement on this bill.

In the meantime, New Mexicans are urged to call and email legislators who sit on the House Judiciary Committee and demand they reject any amendment to S.B. 144 that would chance the purpose of the bill.

Here is email language that our editor, John Block, sent to the Committee. Feel free to use it in your email:

Dear Representative:

Bad actors are attempting to change S.B. 144 to far exceed its original intention and title from “AMENDING THE CRIME OF INTIMIDATION TO INCLUDE ACTS AGAINST ELECTIONS OFFICIALS AND EMPLOYEES AND AGENTS OF THE SECRETARY OF STATE, COUNTY CLERKS AND MUNICIPAL CLERKS,” to now deal with broad subjects regarding the administration of elections. This change proposed in amendment 222675.1 is a grave violation of House Rule 11-4:

“The subject of every bill shall be clearly expressed in its title, and no bill embracing more than one subject shall be passed, except general appropriation bills and bills for the codification or revision of the laws. General appropriation bills shall embrace nothing but appropriations for the expense of the executive, legislative and judiciary departments, interest, sinking fund, payment of the public debt, public schools and other expenses required by existing laws. All other appropriations shall be made by separate bills.”

Therefore, the addition of Amendment 222675.1, if passed by the House Judiciary Committee, would be a grave violation of House rules. Its passage will lead for this piece of legislation, in its entirety, to be subject to litigation — resulting in it being stricken down

Reject Amendment 222675.1 to save the state from costly litigation and from the negative implications passage of such a radical amendment would cause.

Regards,

As MLG’s legislative agenda lags, governor has sad-looking event in Hobbs

During this 30-day Legislative Session, Democrats are crushing or stalling scandal-ridden alleged serial groper Gov. Michelle Lujan Grisham’s agenda, including her hydrogen, crime, gun control, and election bills.

These include H.B. 9, an anti-gun bill that five Democrats joined Republicans in tabling, and a hydrogen bill that she has tasked Democrats to resurrect in multiple forms.

While these legislative items crash and burn with bipartisan opposition, the Governor has traveled over to the community of Hobbs in Lea County — where she lost in 2018 by 55.6 points — for a sad-looking event with a handful of “supporters.”

She posted on Twitter photos of the event claiming the small gathering of unmotivated-looking attendees were “fired up and ready for 2022!”

After her post, New Mexicans responded:

Lujan Grisham, despite her scandal-ridden tenure, is attempting to grab a second term. There are multiple candidates running against her, which are all using her abject failures in office against her.

RGA roasts Lujan Grisham over her hypocrisy regarding use of the National Guard

On Thursday, the Republican Governors Association (RGA) released a video on Twitter roasting scandal-ridden alleged serial groper Gov. Michelle Lujan Grisham over her misuse of the National Guard while she has been in office despite previously claiming the National Guard should not be used to guard the border.

In February of 2019, amid a massive invasion on New Mexico’s southern border of criminal aliens, Lujan Grisham said, “I’m not going to participate, nor do I think it’s appropriate in any shape or fashion to use the National Guard to attempt to militarize the border where we’re dealing with asylum seekers who their constitutional rights continue to be breached.”

But as the RGA video points out, Lujan Grisham misused the National Guard to go to Washington D.C. to act as security during Joe Biden’s installation, to help out in nursing homes, and most recently, to fill in as substitute teachers in New Mexico schools — all having absolutely nothing to do with the duties of the National Guard.

However, despite the previous migrant invasion and the one that has happened since Joe Biden was installed, Lujan Grisham has refused to utilize the National Guard to assist with the protection of New Mexico’s southern border.

House committee kills GOP bill to ban Critical Race Theory from schools

On Tuesday, far-left Democrats in the New Mexico House Rules Committee killed a bill, H.B. 91 by Rep. Rebecca Dow (R-Truth or Consequences), which would have banned Critical Race Theory in schools. The move came after the committee voted not to consider two other GOP bills relating to crime brought forth by Rep. Bill Rehm (R-Bernalillo). No public comment was allowed.

During the committee, Rep. Dow referenced scandal-ridden alleged serial groper Gov. Michelle Lujan Grisham’s executive message, which showed that her bill was germane for consideration during the 30-day legislative session.

Lujan Grisham’s message read, “Pursuant to Article IV, Section 5(B)(2) of the New Mexico Constitution, I am authorizing for your consideration during the Fifty-Fifth Legislature, Second Session, submission of a bill bearing Legislative Council Service drafting number .221437, a bill enacting the Diversity Act; creating the chief diversity officer within the State Personnel Office; creating diversity and inclusion liaisons within state agencies; creating the Workforce and Diversity Council; providing certain duties; requiring agencies to develop and implement policies to address institutional racism; requiring annual reports; and making an appropriation.”

In response, Rep. Javier Martinez (D-Bernalillo) claimed, “I disagree wholeheartedly. I think the executive message that was referenced deals explicitly with the issue of institutional racism, which is in no way connected at all between Critical Race Theory. It is literally connecting apples and oranges.”

Rep. Rod Montoya (R-Farmington) clapped back, saying, “Critical Race Theory and institutional racism essentially are one and the same. I think if this were to state that more specifically Rep. Dow’s bill [said] that we cannot teach institutional racism, it’s exactly teaching the exact same thing.”

“Because it doesn’t say ‘Critical race Theory,’ that is how this is being presented that it’s not germane. The reality is this is exactly the same subject matter,” Montoya added.

Speaker Brian Egolf (D-Santa Fe) made a motion to not consider the bill further, with Rep. Gail Chasey (D-Bernalillo) seconding the motion. The committee ended up voting 10-4 to kill Dow’s bill, with Reps. Zach Cook (R-Lincoln) and Kelly Fajardo (R-Valencia) not voting on the bill, despite being in attendance and having no other bills to introduce or floor sessions to attend.

Attempts to reach both representatives for comment were unsuccessful.

MLG’s alleged groping victim breaks silence, rips her for headline ‘grab’

On Friday, James Hallinan, who Democrat Gov. Michelle Lujan Grisham paid off $150,000 in her campaign donors’ funds to keep silent about claims she groped him, broke his silence on Michelle Lujan Grisham.

Hallinan shared a photo of the Albuquerque Journal front page which read, “Teacher for a Day” about the Governor’s latest publicity stunt to fill in as a substitute teacher as she ships National Guard personnel to New Mexico classrooms to fill vacancies.

He wrote, “Oh my, what a horrible & foolish tweet… so MLG didn’t do it to help kids, educators, & parents to battle COVID? Appears you admitted it was all a press stunt to grab those ‘front pages’ you all ‘love.’”

He tagged Lujan Grisham’s campaign account, the Democratic Governors Association, the National Educators Association’s public relations arm, as well as the Republican Governor’s Association.

According to his account, Lujan Grisham poured a bottle of water over Hallinan’s crotch at a party and then groped his penis through his pants. The alleged groping Governor has not faced criminal prosecution for her reported assault on Hallinan and is still allowed to teach elementary school kids in the classroom.
