Xochitl touts attending Trump’s Middle East peace deal signing ceremony in ploy to court Trump voters

On Tuesday, President Trump oversaw the signing of two historic peace deals between Israel and the United Arab Emirates and Bahrain. Also attending the event, albeit in far-away seats, were Democrat members of the House of Representatives, including Xochitl Torres Small of New Mexico’s Second Congressional District.

Torres Small voted on two counts in December to impeach President Trump and she votes against the President’s interests 91.5% of the time, voting just 8.5% of the time with the President.

After the ceremony, Torres Small posted on social media and through a press release entitled “Torres Small Joins Trump at White House for Signing Ceremony of Middle East Normalization Agreements” after her attendance.

“It was an honor to witness the signing of the Abraham Accords this afternoon, and I commend President Trump for spearheading this effort. These historic agreements between Israel and the UAE and Bahrain represent a major shift in the Middle East and will hopefully open the door to many peaceful partnerships across the region. I look forward to finding other ways to work towards a more prosperous future for the United States and our allies,” wrote Torres Small.

The anti-Trump congresswoman has made many ploys late in the game to court Trump voters, which didn’t seem to be sticking.

Sizeable pro-Trump crowd counter-protests tiny Rio Rancho BLM demonstration

On Saturday, patriots gathered in solidarity to support President Donald Trump at a counter-protest to a left-wing event in Rio Rancho held by a group called the “Black New Mexico Movement.” The leftist event, starting at 6:00 p.m. MDT, was supposedly meant to protest “systemic racism” and “police brutality.” Counter-protesters lined up at 4400 Southern Blvd. SE to patriotically demonstrate.

The fringe event featured a handful of people holding “Black Lives Matter” flags, signs, and other signage. According to reports from the event, one speaker made their remarks while a “F**k Donald Trump” rap song played in the background.

Despite the counter-protest to the leftist event being canceled, it still garnered more support than the Black New Mexico Movement demonstration, with people coming from all around to back up the President.

Even the far-left student blog run through the University of New Mexico, the “Daily Lobo” noticed the sizeable crowd out in support of the 45th President, writing, “There are a significant number of counter-protesters here.”

KOB 4’s Patrick Hayes was covering the event for his network and shared a video of the American Flag-holding, patriotic counter-protest playing the National Anthem. During a standoff between the far-left Black Lives Matter group and the patriotic, American Flag-carrying group, one patriot scolded the leftist mob. He said, “get in your Soros paid for car” and leave, referring to the billionaire hedge-fund manager who has financed most left-wing groups in the country through his various foundations and dark money groups.

The patriots also chanted “USA,” and later, the pro-Trump group, “Cowboys for Trump” rode in on horseback as the counter-protesters cheered. Soon after, Rio Rancho Police showed up to calm the mood. According to one report, the Black Lives Matter protesters with the Black New Mexico Movement asked the Rio Rancho Police for an escort off the site, ironic, due to the Black Lives Matter movement supporting the defunding of the police.

The pro-Trump counter-protesters thanked and shook the hands of the Rio Rancho Police Department officers as they walked by and as the event slowly began to disband.

Earlier Saturday, another patriotic event, also having Cowboys for Trump’s presence, organized hundreds of people in Española, which was described by participants as a massive success.

Massive MAGA crowd gather on chilly ABQ day at ‘Hispanics for Trump’ HQ, signaling red wave

On Wednesday, a massive red wave of support showed up for the third day of the New Mexico “Women for Trump” bus tour in Albuquerque at the Hispanics for Trump headquarters. Hundreds of President Trump supporters showed up in support of the Make America Great Again plan to turn New Mexico red (Republican) in November.

Despite the chilly 44-degree weather, patriotic conservatives came out holing American flags, wearing MAGA hats, and other Trump gear, signaling massive support for the Republican agenda in the Land of Enchantment.

The Democrat Party of New Mexico or the Joe Biden campaign have not held any such event nor have their zoom calls appeared to rile up their base.

President Trump vowed to win New Mexico in 2020, and the President’s campaign team has consistently highlighted the state, especially during the Republican National Convention, where three speakers hailed from New Mexico.

The Women for Trump bus will also stop at the Rio Rancho campaign headquarters at 11:00 P.M. MDT on Wednesday.

FACT CHECK: New Luján ad falsely claims Trump, Ronchetti won’t cover pre-existing conditions

One day after Ben Ray Luján sent out a fundraising email complaining about his opponent for U.S. Senate, Republican Mark Ronchetti’s claims that Luján is a Washington, D.C. insider, he has released a new attack ad of his own, which blatantly lies about Ronchetti’s policy positions, specifically on health care.

The ad says Ronchetti “supports Trump’s plan to gut protections for pre-existing conditions like cancer and heart disease.”

The accusation, which the ad doesn’t even give a reference for (because the claim cannot be backed up with facts), is false information because Ronchetti and President Donald Trump have made it crystal clear they support the coverage of pre-existing conditions, no exceptions.

According to an interview with the Roswell Daily Record

Republican candidates across the country such as Ronchetti have been accused by Democrats of supporting a lawsuit backed by Trump and several Republican attorneys general that could abolish the Affordable Care Act.

Ronchetti calls such accusations ridiculous. He said he wants to improve health care and said any replacement plan must include protections for people with pre-existing conditions and not cut Medicaid.

“So you can put that in 10-inch bold type: We want to cover pre-existing conditions and will protect Medicaid. Period. End of discussion,” he said.

There is no ambiguity in the fact that Ronchetti supports the coverage of pre-existing conditions and the protection of Medicaid, “period.”

President Trump has on multiple occasions made it clear he has no plans to cut Medicaid or gut coverage of pre-existing conditions, even going as far as to propose signing an executive order to that effect. He campaigned on protecting pre-existing conditions in 2016, which he has not wavered from.

According to Reuters:

Asked on Monday why he needed an executive order to mandate something that is already legally required, Trump said it would provide “a double safety net” and would “let people know that the Republicans are totally, strongly in favor of … taking care of people with pre-existing conditions.”

Ben Ray Luján’s ad not only tells blatant mistruths about President Trump’s and Mark Ronchetti’s policy positions, but it should also be taken down as false information by the “fact-checkers” and denied from being played on television stations due to its wildly inaccurate content.

A ‘WalkAway’ Democrat’s guide to the 2020 New Mexico elections

2020 is a turning point for New Mexico families. We have two choices: continue “business as usual” voting for the same out-of-touch Democrat politicians who have neglected New Mexico while focusing on their careers, such as current Rep. Ben Ray Lujan (NM-03), or we vote our values and elect true conservative champions. For far too long, the politicians in New Mexico have forgotten who they work for and instead focused only on their own careers and political ambitions. 2020 is the year that we, the voters, must unite and Drain the Santa Fe Swamp by firing the career politicians who have neglected New Mexico families.

I come from a generational Democrat family. I always voted Democrat because that’s what my family did. Although I didn’t vote for Donald Trump in 2016, I listened to his inauguration speech in January 2017 and what he was saying resonated with me, especially “America First.” I have grown to respect and appreciate our great president Donald Trump because he is a businessman, and he went to Washington D.C. to “drain the swamp” of the career politicians. He has done great so far, and delivered for American families.

Recently, Trump targeted Albuquerque for “Operation Legend,” where Federal Law Enforcement is working with the Bernalillo County Sheriff’s Office to apprehend and prosecute the most dangerous criminals in Albuquerque. I am now a Republican because the Republican Party best represents what I care about as a mother: reducing crime, increasing economic opportunity, and education. I walked away from the Democrat Party because I am pro-life, and much of their agenda—such as the Green New Deal—would directly affect the pocketbooks of New Mexico families. In 2020 I will be voting for candidates who best represent my conservative values.

President of the United States

In 2016, New Mexico went for Hillary Clinton, partially explained by Libertarian Gary Johnson (former Governor of New Mexico during the 1990s and early 2000s) running for President in 2016 who received 9% of votes. In 2020 there is an unbridled enthusiasm for President Donald Trump in New Mexico, due to his achievements in office such as the lowest Hispanic unemployment ever recorded, the building of over 300 miles of border wall, and putting New Mexico Families first. The Joe Biden / Kamala Harris ticket is entirely detached from New Mexico politics, with the only connection being that Kamala Harris previously endorsed Democrat Third Congressional District candidate Teresa Leger Fernandez.

New Mexico Gov. Michelle Lujan Grisham was previously considered a top vice presidential contender for Biden, however, with his choice of Harris, there is nothing appealing to New Mexico voters about Biden other than the typical “Vote Blue No Matter Who” tribal mentality of New Mexico politics. I believe that Donald Trump will “Flip NM Red” in 2020 due to his concentrated “boots on the ground” grassroots campaign in our state. Also, due to the general frustration by the government’s overreach through  Michelle Lujan Grisham’s administration in response to the COVID-19 pandemic, it will help his chances.

United States Senate

In the U.S. Senate race, we have a former meteorologist who appeared daily on television for nearly 2 decades, Mark Ronchetti, as the Republican Nominee against the Democrat nominee Re. Ben Ray Lujan, who held the seat for 12 years, and who climbed to the top of the Democrat ranks, second behind Speaker of the House Nancy Pelosi, and her “Assistant Speaker.” Mark Ronchetti has the benefit of Donald Trump’s reelection campaign efforts, a general “anti-establishment” vibe among New Mexico voters who are eager to “vote out the career politicians,” and the fact that Ben Ray Lujan is virtually the poster boy for career Democrat politicians (partially due to the fact that Tom Udall is retiring and Martin Heinrich isn’t up for reelection until 2022), we have the potential for a huge upset with Mark Ronchetti stopping career politician Ben Ray Lujan in his attempted jump from the U.S. House to the U.S. Senate.

Mark Ronchetti has my full support because he would be the best senator to represent New Mexico families. His dedication to the campaign trail demonstrates that he will continue to listen to the voters of New Mexico, and if we allow Ben Ray Lujan to become our U.S. senator, we can expect him in the U.S. Senate for decades, while ignoring the needs of New Mexico’s families, as he has done for over a decade in the lower chamber.

United States House of Representatives, Congressional District 1

Congressional District 1 is the district where Gov. Michelle Lujan Grisham was elected before taking the governorship. Currently, we have Deb Haaland as the first-term incumbent in the district, who has demonstrated her loyalty to the Democrat D.C. Machine rather than working for  New Mexico families.

In November 2019, Haaland was chosen as the campaign co-chair for Elizabeth Warren’s failed presidential run, until she dropped out due to poor showings, even losing her home state of Massachusetts. In the months leading up to the COVID19 pandemic, Deb Haaland was going door to door in Iowa and travelling across the country working for Elizabeth Warren’s campaign rather than doing her job advocating for New Mexico in Washington.

2020 is our year to send a message to the politicians that they need to be doing their job that we pay them to do, or we will vote them out of office. The Republican nominee for CD-1 is Michelle Garcia Holmes, who is a former Albuquerque Police Department Officer / Detective, and former Chief of Staff at the New Mexico Attorney General’s Office, Michelle has the qualifications to make our communities safer in New Mexico.

United States House of Representatives, Congressional District 2

In one of the most highly contested races in the country, we have first-term incumbent Xochitl Torres Small, a Democrat in a Republican-leaning district who was recently named the most vulnerable Democrat in the U.S. House. She is being challenged by real estate professional and former New Mexico Rep. Yvette Herrell, who has the support of leaders in the Republican Party, including Congressman Jim Jordan (R-OH), the National Republican Congressional Committee, and even former Democrat Rep. Harry Teague, who previously represented the Second District.

The Republican Primary between Yvette Herrell and Claire Chase was a hard-hitting fight, but since Herrell’s victory, New Mexico Republicans have united behind her. I supported Yvette Herrell before the primary and I will continue until the election due to her previous work as a legislator, her conservative values, and the fact that CD-2 leans Republican.

United States House of Representatives, Congressional District 3

The Third Congressional District leans heavily Democrat, comprising Northern New Mexico, with a mixture of Native American tribal land (Navajo Nation, Jicarilla Apache, a number of pueblos), multi-generational Hispanic families tracing back hundreds of years, and others. CD-3 has only ever elected Democrats, except once during a special election and the Republican incumbent, Rep. Bill Redmond, lost in the following general election to the now-retiring Sen. Tom Udall.

The Democrat nominee, Teresa Leger Fernandez, faced an incredibly difficult Democrat Primary and defeated well funded, big name opponents including former CIA agent Valerie Plame, who received over one million dollars in donations. Teresa Leger Fernandez is the “chosen one” by the Democrat elite and has been endorsed by Ben Ray Luján (current NM CD-3 Representative).

Leger Fernandez will face Republican Alexis Martinez Johnson in the general election. She won the 2020 Republican Primary over other GOP contenders Harry Montoya and Karen Bedonie. Alexis was not the insider party favorite, not making it on the ballot at the pre-primary convention, but gathering petitions to appear on the ballot and winning the primary with less than $9000 dollars. She was outspent 10:1. For the first time in years, CD-3  is in-play for a Republican to win this November!

In 2020, we—the voters of New Mexico—have the opportunity to fire the out-of-touch career politicians and send a message that New Mexico families deserve a seat at the table. For far too long, our politicians have listened to their out-of-state donors and neglected the interests of New Mexico voters.

I believe we will see Republicans elected up and down the ballot because the average New Mexican is tired of government overreach and being “mask shamed” by our Democrat Governor. I believe that 2020 is the year New Mexico will vote our values and elect conservative leaders who will put ‘New Mexico families first.

Trump campaign continues to highlight New Mexico as Election Day nears

Election Day is just 63 days away, and it appears President Donald J. Trump’s re-election campaign has its eyes fixed at flipping New Mexico to the Republican column this November. During a September 2019 rally, Trump said to a massive crowd in Rio Rancho, “We really think we’re going to turn this state and make it a Republican state.”

The momentum can be seen especially through the Trump campaign’s social media posts. The campaign has focused a great deal of time promoting the President’s partnership with Bernalillo County Sheriff Manny Gonzales to carry out “Operation Legend,” which brings federal investment into the crime-ridden Albuquerque Metro Area.

The operation has already seen success, with the apprehension of a dangerous criminal alien in the case of Jackie Vigil, who was murdered by the illegal alien. Jackie’s husband, Sam, spoke at the Republican National Convention. At the same convention, two other New Mexicans spoke, including Navajo Nation Vice President Myron Lyzer and Albuquerque Police Officer Ryan Holets, who both endorsed the President for re-election.

On social media alone, the President and his campaign have elevated New Mexico voices, with multiple tweets and posts lauding the work President Trump has done for the Land of Enchantment, including investments to combat the opioid epidemic, as well as showing stories of walk-aways from the Democrat Party in New Mexico.

https://twitter.com/TeamTrump/status/1298440428438589441?s=20
The President only lost New Mexico by eight points in 2016, and that is with Libertarian Gary Johnson (who is not running this election) taking 9.3% of the vote. The President has a real shot at flipping New Mexico Republican this election, and the momentum going into Election Day is just getting that much stronger.

Trump campaign highlights Biden/Harris fracking ban’s effect on NM’s economy

On Tuesday, President Donald Trump’s campaign highlighted the front cover of The Carlsbad Current-Argus, with an article about Democrat presidential nominee Joe Biden and his running mate Kamala Harris’ plan to ban fracking.

The Campaign fixated on a quote from the article reading “Sadly, a fracking ban is no longer an idea from fringe candidates, it’s now the centerpiece of a major candidate’s campaign and New Mexicans should be worried,” quoting Larry Behrens of Power the Future, an advocate for the energy industry in New Mexico.

“Every New Mexico official who has endorsed Joe Biden should now have to answer if they support the extreme position of banning fracking and destroying our economy,” continued Behrens.

“Her policies are leaving shattered lives, hopelessness and an ongoing belief among our young people that they have no future here,” the Current-Argus quoted Republican Party of New Mexico Chairman Steve Pearce as saying following Gov. Michelle Lujan Grisham’s convention speech.

Lujan Grisham has been a staunch proponent of the Biden/Harris ticket, speaking at the Republican National Convention in front of an array of solar panels.

According to the article:

Biden’s selection of Harris reignited the ire of oil and gas industry advocates in New Mexico who slammed previous statements made by Harris during her campaign for Democrat nomination that she would support a full ban on hydraulic fracturing if elected to the highest office in the land.

“There’s no question I’m in favor of banning fracking,” she said during a 2019 town hall event on climate change hosted by CNN.

“This is something I’ve taken on in California. I have a history of working on this issue. We have to just acknowledge that the residual impact of fracking is enormous in terms of the impact on the health and safety of communities.”

The fracking argument is sure to be a topic of much discussion this election, with President Trump’s campaign staunchly pro-energy, whereas a Biden/Harris ticket means a total ban on hydraulic fracturing, a necessity in New Mexico, with our booming oil and gas industry.

Trump’s approval among Hispanic and Latino New Mexicans has skyrocketed since taking office

In recent weeks, leftists targeted Hispanic-owned food business Goya after their president and CEO, Robert Unanue, praised President Trump, saying, “We’re all truly blessed at the same time to have a leader like President Trump who is a builder. And that’s what my grandfather did: He came to this country to build, to grow, to prosper. And so we have an incredible builder, and we pray – we pray for our leadership, our president, and we pray for our country that we will continue to prosper and to grow.”

In New Mexico, during President Trump’s September 2019 rally, Rep. Ben Ray Luján mocked Latino Trump supporters, calling them the President’s “political pawns” and sharing a left-wing article that called Latinos not “full Americans.” Now, Luján is running for United States Senate, despite his comments toward Latino Trump voters.

But President Trump’s support from Hispanics Latinos in New Mexico has skyrocketed since taking office. In January 2017, a Civiqs poll showed Trump at an approval rating of 30% among the group, which now sits at 39%, a 9% increase. Among Hispanic Independents, Trump leads in approval, with 54% of them approving of his job performance. When he assumed the Presidency, only 34% of Hispanic Independents approved of President Trump, meaning his approval among that voting block has shot up 20%.

Throughout Trump’s presidency, he has made multiple efforts to focus on prosperity for Hispanic Americans, with pro-jobs, pro-growth policies. Just last week, he signed an executive order to “Improve Hispanic Americans’ access to educational and economic opportunities,” which is just his latest initiative to help the community. New Mexico Republican Party Chairman Steve Pearce lauded the measure, saying, “This initiative demonstrates the President’s commitment to Hispanics, and they continue to thrive under his strong policies.”

President Trump’s campaign has been heavily investing resources in New Mexico to reach voters of all ethnicities, reaching 65,000 voters just over the Fourth of July weekend. The campaign is will also be investing in new initiatives to reach Hispanic voters with the America First agenda.

Before the COVID-19 pandemic hit, Hispanic Americans hit record-low unemployment numbers. The record lows began in the President’s first year, with even far-left outlets like CNN touting President Trump’s work to reach all-time-low Hispanic unemployment numbers. The strong economy — even in a pandemic — will be an asset to him as he moves to reach voters across the board, especially in New Mexico, with 48% of the state being of Hispanic heritage.

President Trump only lost New Mexico by eight points, with Hillary Clinton leading by 48% to his 46%, and Libertarian Gary Johnson stealing 9% of the vote. Without a viable third-party canddiate in 2020 to take away votes, Trump has a better shot than ever to flip New Mexico to Republican in November.

WATCH: Trump ad running in NM mercilessly batters Joe Biden and anti-police Dems

If you’ve been watching television in the past few days, you may have come across President Trump’s new ad which he’s running across the airwaves in New Mexico. The ad blasts anti-police Democrats who want to defund Law Enforcement.

According to recent reports, President Trump’s 2020 campaign is spending $110,000 worth of airtime in the state from July 4 to July 10.

The ad shows a phone ringing for the Police, with the answering machine responding: “You have reached the 911 police emergency line. Due to defunding of the police department, we’re sorry but no one is here to take your call. If you’re calling to report a rape, please press 1. To report a murder, press 2. To report a home invasion, press 3. For all other crimes, leave your name and number and someone will get back to you. Our estimated wait time is currently 5 days. Goodbye.”

The New Mexico Democrat Party, triggered by the brutally honest ad, especially in wake of Democrat Albuquerque Mayor Tim Keller sending out social workers to respond to some 911 calls, responded with more anti-Trump hatred.

Democrat Party of New Mexico responded with a vague statement, claiming, “New Mexicans aren’t fooled by his ads, because we’ve seen the ways that his presidency has hurt our state and divided our communities.”

But President Trump’s campaign didn’t offer any low-hanging-fruit or banal answers when asked about the ad, saying, “Donald Trump is the law and order president while Joe Biden and his band of reckless anarchists’ calls to ‘defund the police’ would make our communities less safe. Trump Victory is committed to winning in New Mexico and we have invested in the state more than ever before. Our volunteers have contacted nearly one million voters while Joe Biden doesn’t even have New Mexico on his map.”

The Trump Victory ream reported that over the Independence Day holiday alone, they contacted 65,000 voters in New Mexico, 7,000 of them at the door. Biden’s campaign has yet to invest significant resources in the state, which many say he is taking for granted.

Trump promises prison time for anarchists vandalizing monuments — effective immediately

On Tuesday morning, President Trump sent out a tweet announcing his immediate plans to enforce the Veteran’s Memorial Preservation Act, which protects Federal monuments and statues from vandalism and has hefty prison sentences of up to ten years for defacing or destroying such pieces if public property.

Trump’s tweets read, “I have authorized the Federal Government to arrest anyone who vandalizes or destroys any monument, statue or other such Federal property in the U.S. with up to 10 years in prison, per the Veteran’s Memorial Preservation Act, or such other laws that may be pertinent.… This action is taken effective immediately, but may also be used retroactively for destruction or vandalism already caused. There will be no exceptions!”

The law will protect monuments across the country, including the Nation’s Capitol, where vandals have been attempting to create an “autonomous zone” similar to the one created in Seattle, WA. But other than the Washington, D.C., historic monuments have been the target of destruction, including the Shaw 54th Regiment Memorial in Boston, a statue dedicated to the victims of the Armenian Genocide in Denver, and various obelisks, including one in the heart of downtown in the nation’s oldest capital city, Santa Fe, New Mexico.

Many liberal public leaders are caving to radicals demanding these historic landmarks be removed, or using the tragic death of George Floyd as an “opportunity,” as Santa Fe’s Mayor Alan Webber repeatedly said in an address last Wednesday before he ordered the removal of several statues and monuments.

However, a grassroots petition in opposition to the hasty removal of landmarks has already reached over 1,800 signers demanding Mayor Webber and the Santa Fe City Council involve the public in any decision to remove historical images across the city.

President Trump’s orders will go into effect immediately and will work retroactively to punish vandals who previously defaced or destroyed historic monuments, meaning the search is now on for the culprits who defaced images across the country.
