Dem Party desperately wants us to stop talking about impeaching MLG—we won’t

The Democrat Party of New Mexico (DPNM) has characterized Gov. Michelle Lujan Grisham’s illegal order banning guns and subverting her oath as a mere “policy dispute,” attacking myself and state Rep. Stefani Lord for upholding our oaths by holding her accountable.

DPNM told KOB 4, “New Mexico needs real solutions to take on the public safety issues impacting our communities. Calling for an impeachment over a policy dispute isn’t a real solution,” claiming impeachment was “disrespectful to the people of this state.” Did you hear that, fellow peasants? The New Mexico Democrat Party has spoken!

Oh, but wait… There’s more! Lujan Grisham’s office condescended, “It is unsurprising but disappointing that Republicans in the state are choosing to use this time to orchestrate a political stunt instead of coming up with solutions to protect all New Mexicans. With less than 120 days until the start of the session, now is the time to focus on drafting comprehensive legislation to stem the epidemic of gun violence in the state.”

First and foremost, let us acknowledge that public servants, regardless of their political affiliation, take an oath of office to uphold the Constitution and protect the rights of the citizens they serve.

The actions of Governor Lujan Grisham, particularly her executive order restricting the Second Amendment rights of law-abiding citizens to bear arms and her comments that her oath and our rights are not “absolute,” go way beyond the bounds of a policy dispute. It is a matter of profound concern when public officials abuse their oath and deny citizens their constitutional rights. Breaking one’s oath is an impeachable offense.

DPNM’s sad attempt to downplay these actions as a mere policy disagreement is both disingenuous and dismissive of the gravity of the situation. When a governor takes unilateral action to curtail fundamental rights, it is not a matter of partisan politics; it is an affront to the principles of liberty and democracy that should unite us all.

Governor Lujan Grisham and her allies have flagrantly gaslit the public by venomously spewing the lie that Republicans have no ideas to address the issue of violence in our state. This claim is not only false but serves to polarize our political discourse further, further proving the governor’s deceit and lack of fitness for high office. We, Republicans, have consistently put forward ideas and proposals to address crime and ensure our communities’ safety.

The GOP sponsored bills to keep violent criminals behind bars, increase sentences for felons who illegally get ahold of firearms and use them in crimes, enhance sentences for trafficking, and the list goes on and on. Each of these tangible and results-based solutions died immediately at the hands of the governor’s allies in the legislature.

Let us not forget that Governor Lujan Grisham has had five years to confront the crime issue in our state. To suggest that this is a sudden crisis that requires emergency measures, such as her recent illegal executive order, is disingenuous at best. It raises the question of why she has yet to prioritize this critical issue earlier in her tenure or at all.

Addressing crime and ensuring the safety of our citizens should always be a top priority for any leader. The people of New Mexico deserve nothing less. Rather than resorting to criminal executive orders, we should be engaging in a constructive dialogue, working collaboratively across party lines to find effective solutions that enhance public safety while respecting our constitutional rights.

The actions of Governor Lujan Grisham are not a matter of mere policy disagreement. They represent a serious breach of trust, an abuse of the oath of office, and a denial of the constitutional rights of our citizens. We must recognize the gravity of these actions and impeach the governor for knowingly violating our rights and her oath.

  1. Typical for Dems, spread lies to get attention away from themselves and attempt to change history and shift blame to Republicans for everything. It’s always been like this, from the White House to City Council levels.

  2. Is there not a Democrat who will speak up for thier constitutional rights? I think a few interviews from a few gun toting dems will shine some light on MLG. Only criticism from her own will pause her evil schemes. Pause being the key word.

    1. http://Www.bondsforthewin.com. When MLG took her oath of office she also had to take out a surety bond which is insurance in the case of her violating her oath. NM residents can make a claim against her policy holder as she clearly violated her oath of office. This makes her personally liable for each claim made against her bond. First step is to get an IPRA of her oath of office. This is where we have recourse against ALL government officials, school boards, etc. that violate their oath. They forget they work for us, not the other way around!

  3. Let us not forget her dictatorial rule during the COVID scam. She enriched big box stores and corporate chain restaurants but kills over 400 mom and pop restaurants in our state, not to mention non-restaurant small businesses. She can have a special session to legalize weed, which I am for, because it gives people a means of relaxation and I believe is no worse than alcohol but way better than the fentanyl she is allowing to come in to our state and kill our most vulnerable. But she can’t allow a special session on crime? It’s the guns fault. Guns have the ability to think. Yeah, right! I remember during the normal session when she vetoed not only R and D co- sponsored crime bills but any crime bill. Makes you wonder if she is bought and paid for by the cartels. She’s been known to associate with felons released after prison time for slinging dope. Additionally, with Raul Torres, a Doros bought and paid for DA and now attorney general, the Democrats have eliminated cash bond, release drunk drivers with multiple arrests, rapists, murderers, and thieves on ankle monitors and are so inept they charges are often thrown out before trial. She is one huge useful tool to the elitists and globalists that want to destroy this state and country. Time to stop being polite! I applaud Mr. Block and Ms. Lord for their integrity and resolve!

  4. 12 For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms.
13 Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done everything, to stand.
14 Stand firm then, with the belt of truth buckled around your waist, with the breastplate of righteousness in place,
15 and with your feet fitted with the readiness that comes from the gospel of peace.
16 In addition to all this, take up the shield of faith, with which you can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one.
    Ephesians 6: 12-16

    1. I don’t usually involve myself in demonizing a particular party because I don’t necessarily agree with how they define our problems and their solutions. Instead I look at both the act and the actor, regardless whether I agree with their policy or not. Anyone who knows me knows that I don’t reserve my disappointment only for those I don’t share a policy lens with. It is interesting that the governor can define our violent crime problem with so much exigency as to suggest she should suspend inalienable rights but refuse to call a special session to address the emergence with the bipartisanship she calls for. But she called a special session for the legalization of marijuana? Deeply disappointing for this career public servant, now simple five-and-dimer citizen.

      1. Why isn’t anybody doing something about these parents in (New?) MEXICO who are killing their own children without guns. We should have a law that the parents need to be aborted. It’s called the death penalty. In a state with late term abortion, executions should be legal. What is good for a baby ought to be good for murderers.

  5. I just signed the petition to impeach. I tried to also click the link to send it to the democratic party asking that they too elect to impeach. However, not only did the link not work, it did not allow me to go back to the page to access the information to email them. I tried again…same thing. Can a list of their email addresses be sent to everyone who signed the online petition, so that we can also email these legislators? Thank you.

  6. MLG has had many opportunities to repent of her actions but all she does is double down on her choices. She shows her total lack of honor by saying her oath is only good when she says it is, that the Constitution is only good if she says it is. Her arrogance is unbelievable. However, she has forgotten that God never forgets that she has no honor, that she is killing babies at a horrible rate, and the people of New Mexico do not have the same values she is operating in. She is obviously a worshipper of satan or why would she have the ‘counselors’ in her pregnancy hotline recommend the ritual abortions of the satanic temple. She is a great evil on New Mexico but believes she is above the law.

  7. I find it so, so interesting that Dems with TDS (Trump derrangement syndrome) constantly bring Trump as a blame into every conversation…even ones that don’t even remotely concern him. But the second you call one of their own out — and in this case, for a violation of the Constitution — we are all supposed to ignore it. Hmmm.

Grisham needed to be gone for a while. Her political career should have ended with Fort Bayard and the Health Department…but stupid people just kept making excuses for her and promoting her. This is what happens when you praise a cancer instead of cutting it off. She now has an inflated sense of self-importance and has completely forgotten that she isn’t a Queen — she is AN ELECTED OFFICIAL. AKA a PUBLIC SERVANT. Her job is to serve the people of the state, not use state resources for her own gain. And gain she has! Have you noticed that she’s gained about 75 pounds since being selected as governor? While you were locked down, not able to go to your job or to school, being forced to stand in lines for groceries and wear a germ-collecting mask on your face….SHE and “First Manny” were sitting in the Governor’s Mansion feasting on top shelf booze, luxury steak and chocolates….disrespecting citizens on her Thursday Terror Talks for not wearing masks and traveling (“I can see you traveling! Why are you traveling!”).

Her Constitutional violation should sound the funeral bell for her and her career. Impeach her, charge her with all of the violations of office she has committed and give her a Hilary Clinton send-off — banish her out of state, where she cannot hold any political office any more and has no voice.

    1. John Block is not a Rhino. He is fighting for our constitutional rights. I know this man and he is a good man.
Get your head out, and look at the facts.

  8. John Block’s job is divisiveness. And his website is crafted to make conservatives look foolish by having racist, ignorant comments on display here- all supposedly from Republican voters.
You’re all being led down the garden path by a fake Republican, and he’s not the only “gaay conservative” out there performing this act. The proof is in his ineffectiveness and petty, simplistic posturing.
    Wake up, folks.

    1. No you are wrong HD John Block is one of the ones that are standing up for the rights of New Mexicans that are written in the New Mexico and United States Constitutions. MLG action is a despicable action on her part Which does nothing to protect children and any others for that matter. Its not the guns its criminals
and feral people causing the problems. Revolving courts aren’t helping the situation either!
