NM Dems ballot harvesting votes from our senior citizens

As exclusively reported on last week by the Piñon Post, New Mexico Democrats are fully prepared to use the underhanded practice of “ballot harvesting,” which entails activists harvesting ballots by going to specific peoples’ residences and homes and picking up their absentee ballots.

There’s no telling what happens to these ballots once they are taken from the voter, which is what brings grave concern, and signs of voter fraud, as widely reported on. Multiple cases from California and North Carolina to Florida show multiple candidates ordering ballots for voters without their consent, then filling them out themselves or have the voters fill out the ballots while they are present at their homes, then dropping them off at polling locations.

Statistics show fraud occurring, such as in North Carolina’s 9th District race in 2018, where a Republican candidate allegedly paid a political activist hundreds of dollars to collect ballots and/or witness the filling out of ballots, which could be tracked by that person being a “witness” to the completion of the ballots.

New Mexico doesn’t require a “witness” when filling out an absentee ballot, which makes it just that much easier for fraud to sneak in. According to the Daily Signal, “Previously, New Mexico required the signature of a witness as well as the voter on an absentee ballot. However, in 1993, the state Legislature passed a law removing that requirement.”

States are working to curb the fraud by passing bills banning the practice of ballot harvestings, such as in Montana and Arizona, with the Arizona law being challenged and upheld in federal appeals court. However, New Mexico Democrats revealed that the practice of ballot harvesting is happening this election, and targeting some of our most vulnerable communities, including senior citizens.

One of the Democrat Party’s caucus chairs, Pamelya Herndon, revealed on a fundraising call for U.S. Senate candidate Rep. Ben Ray Luján and congressional candidate Rep. Xochitl Torres Small, that the Democrat Party is actively organizing members to visit elderly family members and drop off their ballots at polling locations. She said that the law allows people to deliver “at least one absentee ballot to a polling location” from a person who is not themselves.

She said, “Go by and talk to your senior citizens. See if those ballots have been put in the mail, and if not, pick it up and take it to a polling location… you can take at least one absentee ballot for a member of your family to a polling location. We want every ballot counted, Congressman [Ben Ray Luján] because we want to see that you and Xochitl Torres Small and everybody on that ballot for the Democratic Party gets elected.

According to state law the practice of picking up and delivering absentee ballots is as follows:

A voter, caregiver to that voter or member of that voter’s immediate family may deliver that voter’s absentee ballot to the county clerk in person or by mail, provided that the voter has subscribed the outer envelope of the absentee ballot.

Democrats are clearly intent on utilizing absentee ballots to push them over the finish line, with ballot harvesting in full-swing to help them do just that. With races such as New Mexico’s Second Congressional District in play once again this year, the stakes could not be higher, as the District was flipped Democrat only due to mysterious absentee ballots being counted last-minute.

An independent audit found countless instances of abnormalities in the votes, with counties such as Doña Ana showing multiple irregularities. “Fully 25 percent of the people who purportedly requested absentee ballots from the Doña Ana County clerk didn’t mail them back,” according to the report, going on to say the situation was “suggestive of the possibility that someone was submitting absentee ballot applications for Democrats and those deemed likely to vote for Democrats.”

“In Eddy County, Torres-Small only received 30.9% of the EV/ED vote (she lost by over two to one margin), but she won the absentee voting with 54.7% of the vote. The same anomaly occurred in both Otero and Sierra Counties — both unique and significant especially in Otero County because Herrell lost her home county in the absentee vote despite a sizeable victory on Election Day and early voting,” the report concluded.

The stakes could not be higher this Election Day, as President Trump is on the top of the ticket, and Republicans look to take back both chambers of the state Legislature, as well as congressional seats, including the Second District. As Herndon explained, ballot harvesting is happening, and voters must keep a watchful eye on their ballots, meaning they should do all they can do drop off their absentee ballots themselves at a polling location or just vote in-person on Election Day to curb the fraud.

Ben Ray: if Torres Small is not re-elected, ‘it could jeopardize many of our races here in New Mexico’

In a campaign call for Rep. Ben Ray Luján’s U.S. Senate race titled “When We Vote, We Win! A Women for Ben Roundtable,” joined by Democrat Rep. Xochitl Torres Small, many topics were covered. The call was attended by many Democrat Party insiders, including State Auditor Brian Colón, former Lieutenant Governor Diane Denish, former Secretary of State Clara Padilla Andrews, multiple state representatives, candidates, and Democrat party officials.

While speaking about Rep. Xochitl Torres Small, Luján made a point to speak of her race being rated “the most competitive race in the U.S. House of Representatives,” going on to say that if Torres Small is not re-elected, it could affect his race, as well as that of other Democrats in the state. Luján claimed, “it could jeopardize many of our races here in New Mexico.” Torres Small is running against former New Mexico state Representative Yvette Herrell, who was declared the winner of the 2nd Congressional Race on election night 2018, however, absentee ballots came in swinging the election in Torres Small’s favor.

Torres Small said in the call that she has a “robust team of field organizers” who are working in the district to register voters, and ready to target people in “high-traffic areas.” She noted that her campaign had made 5,000 calls last week to voters.

Pamelya Herndon, the president of the New Mexico Democrat Party Black Caucus was also on the call, instructing people on the call that they should visit elderly people and drop off their ballots at polling locations, saying the law allows people to deliver “at least one absentee ballot to a polling location” from a person who is not themselves.

She said, “Go by and talk to your senior citizens. See if those ballots have been put in the mail, and if not, pick it up and take it to a polling location… you can take at least one absentee ballot for a member of your family to a polling location. We want every ballot counted, Congressman [Ben Ray Luján] because we want to see that you and Xochitl Torres Small and everybody on that ballot for the Democratic Party gets elected.”

When asked by a state senate candidate about the prospect of Roe v. Wade being overturned, Luján touted his high ratings from pro-abortion groups, saying, “I have an ‘A’ rating form planned Parenthood, a 100% scorecard from Planned Parenthood and NARAL.” He also said, “The clear answer is to only support candidates for the Supreme Court who will support reproductive health care,” meaning abortion.

Luján plugged Joe Biden’s campaign, bemoaning the fact that Donald Trump was elected in the 2016, saying, “Four years ago, we saw positive polling. I was all but certain that Donald Trump would not be president of the united states,” but that was not the case.

The rest of the call devolved into short speeches from the panelists trying to fire up the Democrat base, and squeak out a win for Democrats in the November election.

WATCH: Trump ad running in NM mercilessly batters Joe Biden and anti-police Dems

If you’ve been watching television in the past few days, you may have come across President Trump’s new ad which he’s running across the airwaves in New Mexico. The ad blasts anti-police Democrats who want to defund Law Enforcement.

According to recent reports, President Trump’s 2020 campaign is spending $110,000 worth of airtime in the state from July 4 to July 10.

The ad shows a phone ringing for the Police, with the answering machine responding: “You have reached the 911 police emergency line. Due to defunding of the police department, we’re sorry but no one is here to take your call. If you’re calling to report a rape, please press 1. To report a murder, press 2. To report a home invasion, press 3. For all other crimes, leave your name and number and someone will get back to you. Our estimated wait time is currently 5 days. Goodbye.”

The New Mexico Democrat Party, triggered by the brutally honest ad, especially in wake of Democrat Albuquerque Mayor Tim Keller sending out social workers to respond to some 911 calls, responded with more anti-Trump hatred.

Democrat Party of New Mexico responded with a vague statement, claiming, “New Mexicans aren’t fooled by his ads, because we’ve seen the ways that his presidency has hurt our state and divided our communities.”

But President Trump’s campaign didn’t offer any low-hanging-fruit or banal answers when asked about the ad, saying, “Donald Trump is the law and order president while Joe Biden and his band of reckless anarchists’ calls to ‘defund the police’ would make our communities less safe. Trump Victory is committed to winning in New Mexico and we have invested in the state more than ever before. Our volunteers have contacted nearly one million voters while Joe Biden doesn’t even have New Mexico on his map.”

The Trump Victory ream reported that over the Independence Day holiday alone, they contacted 65,000 voters in New Mexico, 7,000 of them at the door. Biden’s campaign has yet to invest significant resources in the state, which many say he is taking for granted.

The Radical Left and gutless politicians are erasing our history one statue at a time

Over the past few weeks, the call by radical socialist Democrats have become louder — and unfortunately, public officials are kowtowing to their never-ending militant demands. Across the country, monuments that have been standing for decades, sometimes even centuries, are being ripped down by violent leftists seeking to cause as much destruction as possible in this short window of outrage due to police shootings.

No matter how outrageous the demands get, such as a Boston petition to tear down a statue of President Abraham Lincoln, the president who freed American slaves, it will never be enough for the Left in their ironic crusade against history.

But unfortunately, as politicians and community leaders cave to the vicious mob, the mobs are showing they will never be pleased, going after everything from statues to bottles of Aunt Jemima syrup. Now, seemingly EVERYTHING is being deemed “racist,” including beloved New Mexico landmarks.

Radicals led by the fringe hate group “The Red Nation” have begun demanding the removal of iconic statues of Spanish conquistador Don Juan De Oñate, with even Gov. Michelle Lujan Grisham agreeing with them. A longtime-standing statue of Oñate in Alcalde was ripped down, with leftist Democrat nominee for Senate and Rio Arriba County Commissioner Leo Jaramillo leading the charge — despite him acting as one of Oñate’s conquistadors back in 2010.

The flip-flop from Jaramillo has led some locals to brand him as a “vendido” or a “sellout.” In the Democrat primary, Jaramillo took out incumbent Sen. Richard Martinez, who was convicted of aggravated DWI. Throughout the race, Jaramillo has branded him as a much more “progressive” choice versus Martinez — adopting a pro-abortion, pro-illegal immigration platform.

But voters do not have to settle for Jaramillo’s gutless platform. Pro-life Republican Diamantina Storment is running against him in the 2020 general election to flip the seat to conservative hands.

Unfortunately, the Oñate statue in Alcalde is just the start of the mob rule by the Left — with radicals demanding a statue of Oñate in Albuquerque be ripped down. The drama created by The Red Nation to tear down the statue resulted in a conflict between protesters, including shoving people to the ground, hitting one man over the head with a skateboard, ultimately leading to a gunshot. Shortly thereafter, police intervened.

In 2018, The Red Nation successfully convinced the leftist City of Santa Fe officials and the Fiesta Council to cancel the “Entrada” pageant re-enacting the peaceful reconquest of Santa Fe by Don Diego De Vargas over 300 years ago.

Oñate is not the only one on the chopping block — a new petition has emerged aiming to rip down iconography from the historic Kimo Theatre in Albuquerque due to symbols they claim are swastikas, despite the Native American origins intended by displaying the symbol. Now, they claim despite the intentions, the building’s images trigger “feelings of White Supremacy, hatred, genocide, and authoritarianism.”

Renowned architect John Gaw Meem designed the Kimo Theatre, as well as other structures such as the UNM library, remodeled the Santa Fe Plaza, and did multiple restorations of pueblos across the Southwest. Now, the Left aims to rip down his work that has captured the spirit of native culture.

At this point, who knows what the Radical Left will go after next, but surely, this is just the beginning of the cancel culture propagated by people who will never be pleased. Once gutless lawmakers began conceding to these radical groups, activists will test just how far they can go until they can completely erase cherished history.
