State Rep. Stefani Lord calls for MLG’s resignation over groping settlement

Following news on Monday that scandal-ridden alleged serial groper Gov. Michelle Lujan Grisham paid an additional $87,500 in hush money to her sexual accuser, state Rep. Stefani Lord (R-Sandia Park) called for the emballed chief executive to resign in disgrace.

The payment came months after the Governor paid $62,500 in hush money to a man named James Hallinan who alleged the then-candidate for governor poured water over his crotch and then grabbed his penis through his jeans. The new payment raises the Governor’s sexual assault payment total to $150,000 in donors’ money.

Lord wrote in a statement, “Today I call on Governor Michelle Lujan Grisham to resign from office. Being a woman does not excuse a public official from sexually violating anyone.” She noted, “No elected official is above the law. Her history of sexual harassment is a stain on the state of New Mexico and she should immediately resign. Democrats forced New York Governor Andrew Cuomo from office for much less.”

Cuomo, an ally of Lujan Grisham who visited Joe Biden at the White House alongside the New Mexico Governor, was forced to resign in disgrace following multiple credible accusations against him. However, he never settled with the victims. Lujan Grisham at the time previously said regarding Cuomo’s accusations, “I’m, frankly, in that group of elected leaders, that you believe the individual, you give real credit and credibility there, if you don’t, we are revictimizing brave men and women who come forward.”

But Lord went a step further in her statement, writing, “I call on the Democratic Party and Democrat leaders to do the right by joining with the voices of her victims in calling for her to step down. If I were a donor to the Governor’s campaign, I would be furious knowing that my money is paying out an enormous sexual abuse settlement, and I would be asking for my donations to be returned. She should not drag our state through the mud by remaining in office.”

Lujan Grisham was previously accused of grabbing another man’s crotch at a party in 2005, which was revealed before the Governor’s election in 2018.

“In 2005, we have a party at my girlfriend’s house. It was an artisan party to showcase some art in Santa Fe and help the artists out to sell their products…During the game, it was Michelle’s shot. And she walked around the pool table and walked by me. When she walked by me she grabbed my crotch,” the accuser Eddie Dehart said. He added that Lujan Grisham exclaimed to his girlfriend that “you have a man here.”

But by the Governor’s own standard she is revictimizing Hallinan by claiming his accusations are“suspect and varied claims,” despite the massive settlement. Usually, innocent people do not settle, especially for a figure in the six digits.

  1. she should step down not only for groping…but for..
1…..closing restaurants and putting fear in the other businesses because they were against her covid rules which are dictatorship that dont work…
2….not showing any scientific data that what she is doing is working..not showing the number of deaths and recoveries for her use of power….how long will this ridiculous masking be going on?
3…..Pulling the plug on giving Valencia health care money because it is a Repub. country when the funding was voted by all other politicians..
4…..all in all…being the worse GOV. New Mexico ever had….It is like they went after Cuomo for his groping but never mentioned the thousand he killed by his failed covid policies….

It is time this tyrant …along with her Reich ministry of health and Reich ministry of energy ….get out of Dodge……

  2. she won’t resign until there is more accusation that come out,. she needs to be gone. she has already ruined the state.

  3. We could accurately rename our governor Michelle Lujan Grabber or how about Grab and Go Lujan? Both names fit nicely. I prefer Michelle Lujan Grabber (MLG)! Disgraceful, illegal, and immoral behavior seems to be approved activities for our Democrat Party elected officials. I have been a Democrat all my life and I am ashamed to witness the traitorous corruption of my party from the top down and from the bottom up. I console myself that I am still a Democrat and not a modern Marxist Progressive Democrat. The deeper issue here is the privilege being taken by our progressive officials. They are quick to jump on anyone who disagrees with their “morality”‘ and “integrity” if it fits their mad rush to destroy our Constitutional rights and freedoms. One hears their cries of immoral behavior of their opponents. their screams against those who violate the integrity of what they call sexual identity and sexual rights. However, they are quick to deny and wrong doing when it comes to one of sacred enforcement authorities. They are quick to use the “racism” label against anyone that they wish to control. Their critical race theory doesn’t address racism it merely shifts the “racist” label from one group to another. It is as if we are living in an insane society that rewards anyone who is willing to accept their hatred of The United States of America, our Constitution, our Christian Faith, and our use of intelligent discourse. They love the “useful idiots” whom they can use to push their Marxist agenda. Going along with Michell Lujan Grabber’s rationale, Albuquerque residents are being told to vote yes on the stadium very expensive bond issue because, “it isn’t a tax, It is a bond issue”. Isn’t it interesting that Mayor Keller, a political ally and party member of Michelle Lujan Grabber believes that it will escape us that the “non tax bond Issue” will still need to be paid by the Citizen Voters or our fair city. The rhetoric has always been, “it won’t cost you any more because we are retiring a bond issue and we are just replacing that one with this new Bond Issue”. Poor ignorant me, I have always asked, “If we don’t pass this bond issue, how much of my hard earned money will I get to keep as more annual income instead of paying to the city to pay for the ‘non tax’ bond issue?”. Interestingly, not one politician of either party has been willing to answer that question! That “non tax” bond issue will cost everyone; however, the wealthy investors will once again be able to enjoy becoming wealthier as a result of this “redistribution” of our incomes to those “investors”. Rich or poor, everyone will have their hard earned money redistributed once again to the wealthy! There is an old saying that is appropriate here, “Is the shoe beginning to pinch yet?” How much more uncomfortable must we become before we stand up and fight for our Constitutional Rights and Freedoms?
