On Friday, it was revealed that late-term abortionist LeRoy Carhart, who killed around 40,000 to 50,000 babies in abortions and killed women undergoing abortion procedures at his facility, had died.
The pro-life group Abortion On Trial wrote, “We have just confirmed that the well known late stage abortion provider Leroy Carhart has passed away,” adding, “While we do not wish loss on anyone and our condolences go out to his family, we can only hope Dr. Carhart’s work does not continue on with out him.”
Carhart had abortion centers in Germantown, Maryland; Bellevue, Nebraska; and Pueblo, Colorado.
He is known for being on the losing end of the U.S. Supreme Court case Gonzales v. Carhart, which held in place a federal law banning partial-birth abortions, which he performed, also known as intact dilation and extraction.
The Court wrote in the decision, “Congress determined that the abortion methods it proscribed had a “disturbing similarity to the killing of a newborn infant,” Congressional Findings (14)(L), in notes following 18 U. S. C. §1531 (2000 ed., Supp. IV), p. 769, and thus it was concerned with “draw[ing] a bright line that clearly distinguishes abortion and infanticide.” Congressional Findings (14)(G), ibid. The Court has in the past confirmed the validity of drawing boundaries to prevent certain practices that extinguish life and are close to actions that are condemned.”
In 2013, Carhart’s Maryland facility killed a 29-year-old New York woman, leading to widespread outrage. He is now referred to in the pro-life movement as a “gruesome” figure.
He is known, alongside disgraced fallen abortionist Kermit Gosnell, for snipping children’s spines while still in their mothers’ wombs.
In 2020, it was reported, “Carhart aborts unborn babies into the third trimester when they are viable outside the womb. Though he is almost 80 years old, he continues to abort unborn babies at his late-term abortion practice in Maryland.”

I don’t understand what kind of psychopath is even able to do the kinds of things this guy did. Not in my darkest fantasies do I think about killing babies.
He’s in the same category as the worst of the Nazi war criminals.
I believe that it should be left up to the woman’s choice,say in case of rape, matter of life threatening situation,and it’s the woman’s choice not no one else’s, she’s the one that is left feeling the guilt even if she had to have things done due to a life threatening result!
what about the babys choice, the baby would choose life. this is a separate life in the mother that science has proved begins at conception. 50% of the aborted baby’s are female, would the baby woman choose life? i think so!

IMHO, That’s where we went dead wrong raising the generations after the baby boomers…that is what has led us to individuals like this maniac, who had no problem…cutting into the spine of an otherwise viable human being in order to “kill” it.
There was no other justification for cutting the spinal cord, or tear limbs apart and remove them from a human female, it was a process this 80 year old maniac developed; over time, to intentionally kill an otherwise health infant.
Period.
Without some kind of exception… some life saving issue…some kind of known deformity… a lack of others willing to adopt…. something…anything that at least that can be mutually accepted as an alternative… late term abortions is not an abortion.
It is now more than ever a politically motivated execution…a MURDER…and it has been justified by ONE POLITICAL PARTY AS ACCEPTABLE… and that you know is the Democratic Party.
Morning the loss of an individual like this…I believe is wrong. Giving your condolences to his family…? I don’t think they need any.
Keeping him in the news? Is just another way to keep him as some kind of hero who conducted himself in a pattern of conduct that was always questionable and not fully accepted in our human society… just sayin’…

Being a Catholic to me this is mass murder. He was no different then Hitler who had no remorse for killing Jewish babies and was documented. I go to Church weekly and attend Bible study. I’m not the perfect Catholic and I’m not sure if I’ll go to Heaven or Purgatory. I heard if you repent anything is possible. I sure hope that Baby killers like this are judged a whole lot differently. It’s wrong that his family and other pro-abortion fanatics think there’s nothing wrong with murdering Babies. A lot of Catholics and Christians claim to be religious and still support abortion like our President and Governor. It does not work like that. God who gave his only son Jesus who was savagely scourged and crucified for our sins. Do you think they support abortion? The ACLU and Planned Parenthood are so desperate they sent me a devout Republican and Catholic letters to support them. I took both those letters and sent them back and gave them a piece of my mind.
