Far-left New Mexico Gov. Michelle Lujan Grisham traveled on a taxpayer-funded excursion to Mexico with many Cabinet officials to meet about “climate change” policies and attend the inauguration of Mexico’s new president in one of the bloodiest elections to date in the country, with at least 34 of political candidates being murdered.
Lujan Grisham posted on X, formerly Twitter, “Many thanks to the experts who joined us in Mexico City for today’s Clean Energy and Energy Security Collaboration Roundtable discussion.”
“Together, we’re working toward innovative solutions and partnerships for a #sustainable #clean #energy future,” she added, with a picture attached showing her with others in attendance.
But more than the eco-left policies the post promoted, her outfit is what caught the attention of many, showing her in a loud gold and multi-colored jacket and short skirt, while donning chunky jewelry and white/nude colored strapped boots.
X users took to the platform to comment on the governor’s flamboyant ensemble.
“Whoever picked that outfit hates you with a stone-cold passion. I’m 💯 opposed to everything you stand for, but even still, I wouldn’t send you out in public looking like that kind of fool. It’s savage. Meanwhile, NM doesn’t have a real governor, & it shows. Impeach Grisham now,” wrote Auntie Barnes.
Another wrote, “Sweet baby Jesus, woman, who dresses you? That outfit is so tackyAlso did taxpayers fund this trip too?”
Sassy Vet wrote, “So that’s what a cartel prostitute looks like?”
“Are you ever in Santa Fe working on the problems of the state…..ever?” wrote another.

JPNorth concluded that “those faux boots are a fashion travesty. Like your phony green agenda, a bad idea that fails in both function and form. A concept with no real purpose.”

I suspect her and the SOS counted ballots rather than who the vote was for. Probably saw it was a democrat ballot so they put into the machine a vote for every democrat running for office.
This isn’t news to anyone that pays attention – she’s never been professional. She is ignorant of her body type and doesn’t wear the correct clothing for that body type, and that’s been the case for as long as she’s been in political office, as far back as when she first ran for Congress. Too-short skirts, tacky footwear, bad jewelry and clothes that were not tailored for a short chunky frame. With her, it’s about flaunting her wealth and designer labels and not about what is classy or what presents a positive image.
I love how Kristi Noem presents herself. Now, to be fair, she is tall and slim and could wear a paper bag and look fantastic. BUT, her clothing is always appropriate and classy and it fits the situation. Dark and/or conservative suits for official business, and if she is, say, visiting a ranch, she wears clothing appropriate to that with the right footwear, so she can easily navigate wherever she will be going. Not like Grisham, wearing spike heels everywhere and requiring “help” just to walk.
Since it’s common knowledge that the Democrats identify/groom young people to be politicians, I’m surprised that part of that grooming isn’t image management. I don’t see any Conservative candidates presenting like this. When you look like a clown, that’s what you’re conveying. The clothes she wears spits in the face of her constituents. Do you ever see her wearing clothing styled or designed by a local? Does she ever wear brands that you can buy in a regular business class store, like Talbot’s, Black Market or Dillards? Going back to Kristi Noem, I’m pretty sure she shops in affordable stores; I have a suit identical to one she often wears that I purchased in Dillard’s for $110. She makes an effort not to look “better than” the professionals in her state. Does Grisham wear authentically pueblo jewelry or anything made by local artists? No, she wears a lot of Lilly Barack, which are pricey pieces designed for wealthy tourists. Everything about how she looks says “I don’t care about NM or how I represent. It’s all about ME.”
Being a politician is an opportunity to show up for your state and every opportunity she has she doesn’t take. I could ask why she was reelected, but we all know it was a selection.
On the opposite side of the coin is Maggot Tolouse Oliver. Someone needs to tell that one that, yeah, we know you have gained weight over your term, but you can make an effort to look like you belong in your office. Comb your hair once in a while and wear clothes that look like you didn’t sleep in them. I’m sure her hubby Allan “Thornberg” Oliver can afford to dress her in something from a plus sized professional’s shop.
We are judged by how we present. Democrats clearly don’t give a crap.
