Robert F. Kennedy, Jr. ‘takes MLG’s dream job’

In a surprising turn of events, President-elect Donald Trump has nominated Robert F. Kennedy Jr. as Secretary of Health and Human Services (HHS), a position that New Mexico Governor Michelle Lujan Grisham had previously aspired to under the Biden administration.

Rio Grande Foundation chief Paul Gessing wrote on X, “RFK takes MLG’s dream job.”

This development underscores the shifting dynamics in U.S. health policy leadership and highlights the political recalibrations following the recent presidential election to a shift away from the status quo of Washington elites.

Robert F. Kennedy Jr., an environmental lawyer and prominent vaccine skeptic, has been a controversial figure in public health discussions. His nomination to lead HHS has elicited mixed reactions. Supporters commend his advocacy for transparency and reform in health agencies, while critics express concern over his stance on vaccines and public health measures.

Kennedy’s appointment aligns with President-elect Trump’s inclination to include unconventional figures in his administration, reflecting a broader strategy to challenge established norms in health policy.

Far-left Democrat Gov. Michelle Lujan Grisham had been considered a leading candidate for the HHS secretary role during Joe Biden’s transition in 2020, for which she extensively lobbied. Her sordid background includes serving as New Mexico’s health secretary and tenure in Congress, along with her dealings in New Mexico’s shady high-risk insurance pool, of which she profited handsomely.

Despite her active role as a surrogate for Biden on the campaign trail, Lujan Grisham was not selected for the position in the Biden administration.

The recent election, in which President-elect Trump secured 312 electoral votes, has crushed all likelihood of Lujan Grisham attaining the HHS secretary position.

Her close association with the Harris campaign and her alignment with far-left Democrat health policies, such as abortion up-to-birth, contrast sharply with the incoming administration’s direction, which is independent of the establishment. This political shift underscores the challenges Democratic leaders face in securing key federal positions under Trump’s conservative administration.

The nomination of Kennedy over Lujan Grisham highlights the divergent health policy philosophies between the two administrations. While Lujan Grisham has advocated for on-demand abortions and “Medicare for All,” Kennedy’s views on vaccines and health agency reforms suggest a potential departure from traditional public health strategies.

As the Senate prepares for confirmation hearings, Kennedy’s nomination doesn’t appear to have received as much pushback as other nominees, such as Trump’s choice for attorney general, former Rep. Matt Gaetz of Florida. His previous statements and positions on public health issues will likely be central to the discussions, influencing the confirmation process.

However, the one thing that is clear is that Lujan Grisham won’t get anywhere near the federal administration of a Democrat president and certainly nowhere near the Department of Health and Human Services.

  1. Michelle Lujan Grisham’s resume in NM says it all; Covid 19 vaccine dictates, doctor shortages, triple abortion numbers, mental health etc. She is a legend in her own mind and we have suffered for it.

    1. Not to mention mandating masks outside in the Summer in temperatures over 100 degrees, and forcing people to stand in line outside grocery stores for hours in freezing wind and snow during Thanksgiving and Christmas!

      1. We must never forget the health tyranny she inflicted on this state for almost two years. She was drunk with power during convid-1984, destroying businesses, perpetuating useless edicts based in fraudulent “science,” and trying her best to outdo even the most psychopathic authoritarians of those terrible days. If only we could handcuff her to a bench at Nuremberg 2.0, along with the thousands of other convid criminals still walking free amongst us. That would be a fine day for humanity.

      1. Now now stay pretty and nice…she taught me how to live in the 19th century/3rd world..she declared used oil hazmat and my local tranfer station wont take it , and with her additional hazard fee on propane deliveries ,am cooking and heating with wood..a cup of old motor oil is great for starting a wet wood fire. Hate to do it but the green agenda is for the rich…welcome to north mexico !

  2. Perhaps Lujan-Grisham should submit her resume to Planned Parenthood. I’m sure she meets all the qualifications to head that organization. Sad that New Mexico is now labeled one of the top states for abortion. What a legacy Lujan-Grisham will leave with us.

    1. praying all the funding form DC will be eliminated once President Trump elect takes office.
They need to be dismantled. Stop murdering babies in the womb.

    1. With a Republican majority at the federal level, she’s been effectively neutered. Not much she can do without being slammed down hard. This is her worst nightmare. Word on the street now is all of the Dem governors that treated their states like gulags are going to be looked into…

      1. To hell with her “dream”. She deserves prison….a long rest of her life prison sentence, where hopefully she’ll reflect on the dreams she robbed from countless people, especially the unborn who never had the chance for a life of hope and dreams.

  3. As it should be! We need a health advocate who cares about the health of Americans and wants to critically scrutinize the pharms, Big Food and the processing/additives/bioengineered and inflammatory components that are making us sick, insurance fraud, the over-medicalization of Americans and the extremely corrupt vaccine industry. MLG stands for everything anti-health. Look at what she did to us during covid! She is getting what she deserves. The chickens have come home to roost and are crapping all over her.

  4. She is the main reason I fled NM, which was supposed to be my forever home in retirement. She is truly evil as are those in her inner circle. I pray for better days and exceptional leadership in the next governor who may actually love NM and want the best for the state and people. I THANK GOD that DJT won this election beyond the shadow of a doubt so this evil woman will not be allowed to spread her wicked ways beyond the NM border. Gods Speed NM, so sorry you are stuck with her for now.

  5. Maybe we can get some real data on the experimental vaccines forced on so many test subjects… er I mean, citizens…
What happened to “my body, my choice” (the cry of the communofascist aborter) when it came to forcing experimental medical procedures on citizens? Will they ever wake up and see their twisted and psychotic hypocrisy???
Here’s the irony; I agree with “your body, your choice”, it was your choices that led you to be pregnant – you should have made different choices. Close your legs and/or use birth control. Maybe, also, don’t have sex with every man you meet.

  6. The ONLY Government benefits she should ever see again is
“3 hots and a cot!!” Her corruption is blinding and idiots keep letting her take up office space! Arrest, imprison her, and ban her from ever holding public office ever again!
