On Monday, Bernalillo Sheriff John Allen blasted Gov. Michelle Lujan Grisham’s unconstitutional order to disarm all law-abiding citizens in Bernalillo County from having either concealed or open firearms.
He said, “I’m not going to enforce it.”
“The governor made it clear in her press conference,” he said, adding, “She knew we as law enforcement did not agree with the order, and as a result this was solely her decision.”
“We don’t agree with this at all. This is unconstitutional and like I said, I uphold my oath seriously,” Allen said.
The first Democrat legislator finally broke their silence, with state Sen. Joseph Cervantes (D-Doña Ana County) writing on Twitter, “Having passed key gun safety laws working with her administration, I call on the Governor to rescind her order outlawing arms.”
He further wrote, “An unconstitutional approach undermines the important collaboration gun issues deserve, and the important role of a Governor to lead genuine reforms.”
There has not been a single Democrat legislator publicly coming out in support of the governor’s unconstitutional order as of publication.
The Governor needs to refrain from towing the party line and open her eyes to what is in the best interest of the law abiding citizens. The real issue is the out of control crime committed by those who do not follow the law or mandates. Do something to address that!

Just called Congressman Gabe Vazquez’s Las Cruces office, 575-323-6390, and the knot head who answered hung up on me while I was expressing concern with MLG’s SOE on gun violence. The coward hu g up on me, then would not answer the phones again.

I agree! I think our Governor did this as a TEST for the Democrat Party to see how large a brouhaha it would bring to the political arena. They aren’t liking the results! 🤣
They’re not liking the results and this little darling of the democrat party is going to be thrown under the bus by non other than Joe Biden himself. She’s not as smart as she thinks she is. When she is thrown out of office I hope she enjoys eating cake like the rest of us instead of all those expensive, delicious meals provided by us, the measley serfs of her state.
As a public official, John, you now have a duty to support the Sheriffs in the removal of this Acting governor. Pursuant to your oath of office, you can help the Sheriff’s enforce sections 3 & 4 of the 14th amendment, have her removed from office and all pensions, immediately.
I am opposed to the stated red flag law. However, she is the exemplar of why we have it.
She is mentally unstable and should not be anywhere near firearms. We should remove armed security detail until further evaluation.

There may not have been any Dem lawmakers who have supported her, but there have not been any Dem lawmakers other than Cervantes who have called her to stop this illegal stunt. Those other lawmakers who are silent need to be called out. By their silence they are in agreement with this tyrant.

We do not need to impeach her, the sheriffs can arrest her and escort her out, as they should have done when she violated her oath during the covid scam, but they did not do it… maybe they have had time to find their cojones and will uphold their oath this time.
The legislature is again guilty of misprision of treason for allowing these crimes against the people they are supposed to protect and serve to continue. We must hold our servants to their oaths to our original organic Constitution circa 1787 as amended with the bill of rights 1791.
Per sections 3 and 4 of the 14th amendment, any time a public servant violates their oath to uphold the Constitution, they are automatically removed from office, and must step down and lose all pensions, pay and benefits. Then they can be personally sued for they are no longer lawfully holding office, and acting as.
The executive branch can not make law, executive orders are all null and void. only the legislative branch can make law, and this must be constitutionally compliant to be valid law. A law must be lawful or all American citizens are free to ignore them.
Equivalent of an “insurrection” of sorts, I’d say. Grounds for impeachment. Or is that what she’s doing, is baiting R’s and others to incite a violent rally? She’s got a law degree, though never practiced law, go figure.

I agree with Twocents, arrest her and take her out in handcuffs. That would send a powerful message to all the other worthless politicians like her!
